This beautiful stone property, fully restored in 2019, sits in a peaceful rural location called Florenças, a small parish within Calheta, on the southwest region of the island, and has the most amazing panoramic ocean and mountains views. If you’re a nature lover and wish to get away from the noisy and stressful city life, Recanto das Florenças holiday houses offers you a great opportunity to relax and have a romantic or family holiday break, next to the mountains and the beach at the same time!
The cottage was kept with its original Madeiran style, maintaining the same elegance and comfort properties that it always had before.

With a vast garden, filled with flowers and a beautiful lawn, you will be able to enjoy the most incredible sunrises and sunsets.

It is within the very quiet, calm and peaceful small village of Florenças that you will feel like being part of a paradise. Agriculture is still a big characteristic of Florencas environment and, of course, its very own helpful and friendly people, that still take care of their lands, growing their own vegetable, herbs & fruits, everyday! You couldn’t ask for better neighbors!

Recanto das Florenças consists of two “joint” houses but with separated entrances. Car parking is also freely avaliable within the property. House n.º 1 is a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment and house n.º 2 is a one bedroom/one bathroom one. Both are fully equipped with lounge and kitchen, and all the appliances you’ll eventually need are there. Besides, it’s located just a few minutes way from supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops.

Recanto das Florenças n.º 1 and 2 can be booked separately or together. Take notice, though, that when separately booked, the house garden will eventually be shared, but room or space for everyone is a thing that won’t miss!
