Villa Stone Thromila is a 200 sq. m. residence located in the southern coastal area of Souda, in the Rethymno Prefecture. The villa is just 2 km from the organised sandy beach of Souda and 1.2 km from the unorganised Fotinari Beach. The town of Plakias is only 3 km away, where youll find tavernas, shops, and all daily amenities.
The villa is an ideal choice for large families or groups of friends, as it consists of two independent three-storey houses that can be rented together, offering both shared spaces and privacy within your group. This layout allows you to enjoy holidays together while still having your own personal space.
Each house is furnished in a modern, minimal style and features the same layout. Together, the property can accommodate up to 10 guests in beds, with space for up to 11 guests if needed. The villa offers a total of 2 living rooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 2 indoor dining areas, 3 outdoor dining areas, 5 bedrooms, 2 attics, and 4 bathrooms, providing ample space and comfort for everyone.

Beautiful vacation home in perfect location

Very nice vacation home. Phenomenal ocean view. Large garden. Great pool. We grille fresh seafood on the barbecue station and the large shaded table was great to sit and play cards. Location is far enough from Plakias to be very quiet, but close enough to easily reach supermarkets and butcher within minutes. Myrthios has much nicer restaurants than Plakias and is also very easy to reach. Wonderful cleaning service, also during the stay. They even baked cakes for us. Lovely. Highly recommended!

Nice stay in October

We were 3 families staying in the house(s). It was great that the premises were divided into two separate blocks, so you could have more privacy between the families. The houses were well equipped. The double bed we used was only 140cm, so you are close to each other :-). The number of beds indicated was correct, however with 3 families it was a bit tight. No big deal though. In October, you should book the pool heating. We did not and I was surprised about how cold the pool actually was. It was much colder than the ocean. We loved the outdoor kitchen with the bbq very much and used it several times. The agency was of great help, the communication with them was perfect at all times. Bed sheets and towels were changed 3 times during the stay, perfect service! Also, the house was cleaned 3 times inbetween, so really great. The sea view is stunning! And the location also very good, just about 2,5 kilometers from Plakias where you can get basically everything you could need during your stays. Beaches, restaurants, shops and alike are nearby. It was quite windy during some days, I assume that Plakias is whithin the range of some falling winds from the mountains. Have a great stay!

Magnifique séjour dans un cadre idyllique et une maison superbe ! Nous étions 11 amis et la maison était parfaite. Il faut savoir qu'il s'agit en réalité de 2 maisons qui sont collées mais ne communiquent pas. Une de 4 personnes et 2 chambres, l'autre de 7 personnes avec 3 chambres doubles et une mezzanine.Le petit bémol : le chauffage de la piscine qui est payant, mais tellement agréable !Et merci pour les petites attentions !!!

Alles wunderbar mit Ausnahme eines ganztägigen Stromausfalls im ganzen Dorf. Da hätten wir vom Cociergeteam ein Minimum an Information erwartet, zB ob wir etwas brauchen, evt kleiner Campingkocher etc. Im Büro sitzen ist in solchen Situationen nicht genug.

Toller Familienurlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus

Der Urlaub in der Villa hat voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Hervorzuheben ist vor allem der unglaublich tolle Außenbereich. Wir hatten uns im Vorfeld dazu entschieden, die Poolheizung dazu zu buchen. Das war zwar nicht ganz günstig, hat sich aber als gute Entscheidung erwiesen, die Kinder waren morgens schon im Pool und auch für die Erwachsenen war die Temperatur mit Heizung sehr angenehm, vor allem, weil es bisweilen sehr windig war. Das Haus besteht eigentlich aus zwei separaten Wohneinheiten und damit kann man auch ein bisschen Abstand wahren. Klitzekleiner Nachteil ist die Badsituation. In dem etwas größeren Teil des Hauses gibt es 7 Schlafmöglichkeiten, aber leider nur ein Bad mit Badewanne, in der man dann auch duscht. Unten befindet sich noch eine Toilette und ein Waschbecken und theoretisch auch eine Dusche, die aber nicht abgetrennt ist und die wir faktisch nicht genutzt haben. Die kleinere Wohneinheit besitzt zwei Bäder, und so sind einige zum Duschen ins andere Haus gegangen. Unbedingt zu erwähnen an dieser Stelle sind der tolle Kontakt zur Agentur, die sich im Vorfeld immer direkt zurückgemeldet hat, wenn es eine offene Frage gab und ganz ausdrücklich auch die netten Vermieter, von denen wir dreimal mit ganz leckerem Kuchen beschenkt wurden. Wir hatten das Auto über die empfohlene Autovermietung gebucht (Bestcars), und auch dort war der Kontakt super und es hat alles toll geklappt. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung und ein absoluter Volltreffer!

Wir waren zu neun Erwachsenen in der Villa. Alles war wie beschrieben und sauber, die Ausstattung ausreichend. Die Fotos geben alles gut und korrekt wieder. Zweimal wurden wir mit leckerem Kuchen versorgt, zudem standen Öl und Wein zur Begrüßung bereit. Die Villa bietet ausreichend Platz, so dass sich jede'r der Gruppe auch mal zurückziehen kann. Leider wehte die ganze Zeit ein ziemlich heftiger und kühler Wind von den Bergen, so dass wir den fantastischen Außenbereich nicht wie gewünscht nutzen konnten. Auch mit der von der Agentur angebotene Autovermietung waren wir sehr zufrieden. Von uns eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Tolle Villa - sehr netter Service

Absolut empfehlenswerte Villa, etwas abseits des Trubels und auf einem kleinen Berg gelegen. 2 km bis zum Strand und den nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern (2-11 Jahre). Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist besonders hervorzuheben. Jede Nachricht wurde umgehend beantwortet. Gereinigt wurde in 10 Tagen 2x. Der Pool wurde jeden (!) morgen gereinigt. Die extrem nette Vermieterin brachte 3x leckeren Kuchen vorbei - sehr lecker! Klimaanlagen in jedem Raum, Aussenküche mit Grill, 2 gut ausgestattete Küchen - alles vorhanden. Wir können die Villa ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen.

dans une région encore privilégiée du tourisme de masse, avec petits restos et magasins pas très loin, des plages et criques très belles à découvrir dans la région, nous avons été magnifiquement accueillis par les propriétaires de la Villa Thromilla, très belle et parfaitement comfortable. Accueil charmant et souriant (mile, huile d'olive, raki, boissons, fruits, et gâteau maison au réfrigérateur à l'arrivée) et professionnel (explications claires et précises) par les propriétaires, contact très simple et efficace avec Etouri , à l'écoute de nos moindres souhaits, nous sommes enchantés de ce trop court séjour.

Diese Villa ist sehr modern und wunderbar gelegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell im Ort oder am Strand. Ein kleines Manko sind dennoch die Bäder vor allem im kleineren Teil der Villa. Für uns war es eine Herausforderung in einer Minibabewanne mit fester Trennwand ohne Halterung für den Duschkopf zu duschen. Das Haus ist sonst gut ausgestattet.

Excellent Villa

We rented the 2 combined Villas for a group of 12 family & friends and worked out lovely. The quality of the villas is excellent and the pool, outside eating area and views are spectacular. The quiet mountain area where you can continue up the road to top of the mountain village or down along the coast road to Plakias means that shops, bars and restaurants are all in easy reach. Highly recommended
