BEACH FRONT JEWEL (FORMALLY `THE MAGNIFICAT`)

Step out of your patio door onto the gracefully tucked white powder sands, lazy sea oats and sweeping views of the shimmering turquoise waters in the serene Old Florida neighborhood, just 5 minutes east of Destin. Styled in elegant grandeur, this three level luxury beachfront retreat comprises over 5200 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 6 baths sleeping 22 comfortably on a private beach. Watch the dolphins or fall asleep listening to the waves from any of the 3 levels and travertine decks.
All guests must sign our Rental Agreement prior to arrival. Access to the home will not be granted until the Rental Agreement is executed. Must be a minimum age of 25 years old to rent property. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. The presence of any additional guests without prior authorization will result in an additional fee of $250 per guest, which will be charged to the booking party.
Bring Beach Towels!
Trash pickup at front curb on Monday`s, Thursday`s & Saturday`s after 8:00 AM.
When exiting the beach, please use the outdoor shower on deck level one to rinse any access sand from your body before entering the home! Sun tan lotion.
Pet fee is $500/pet (nonrefundable deposit).
Quiet time after 10:00 PM
Front Yard maintenance service is on Tuesday`s
Upon departure, please raise 3 thermostats to 75 degrees and take all trash in cans to street! Thank you!

Beautiful home with excellent beach view and access

Our extended family stayed here for a week. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was great being right on the beach. The views were beautiful and the home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beach was not crowded. The property manager, David, is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Location

Beautiful location. The home was clean and just as stated. Clean linens and plentiful bath towels. AC was exceptional. We could have used more dishes for children, not glass. We purchased and left dish towels as there were only 2. We would definitely again.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and well decorated. It was equipped with all you need to just arrive and unwind. It was perfectly located for family fun and relaxation directly on the beach. The views of the sunrise and sunset were amazing!! The owners were great to assist when needed and very friendly.

Great Stay

Kitchen needs to be improved and better organized. Small appliances are old and need replaced. AC was outstanding. Overall great location. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful beach front house

We traveled with four family’s with 12 kids in all age ranges. There were two living rooms, two kitchens, and two laundry rooms which made things so much easier with a huge group.

Truly Magnificent

We had a wonderful trip with three families sharing the house. Just as pictured and plenty of room for everyone. The beach is so beautiful and it is so much better to be right on the beach. The kids loved the bunk room with a TV for each bed! We hope to return next year!!

Annual Family Trip a hit!

Beautiful property - view could not be improved upon! Very quiet and relaxing and away from the condo crowds. We got lucky and squeezed in between two hurricanes and enjoyed fabulous weather the entire trip. The bonus kitchen downstairs is a great amenity and we also loved being able to go straight thru the garage to the beach with coolers and beach toys with no stairs! Will definitely keep this house on our list for next year!

Location Location Location!!

My husband and I stayed with my 3 children, their spouses and my 10 grandchildren. We had plenty of room and privacy. It was so nice to have the beach at the bottom of our house. Our host was prompt and even recommended a great place to eat that we wouldn’t have known about. We hope to stay again. I highly recommend! p.s. I was pleasantly surprised that air conditioning was great and we had plenty of ice! 😀

The Perfect Place!

This awesome house has it all! The beautiful beach and the ocean are right at your back deck. The bedrooms are very spacious, very comfortable and relaxing. The house was perfect for our large group of 16 ladies and has a well equipped kitchen for cooking. The extra den on the first level was great giving us plenty of room for entertaining and watching the Olympics! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We've found the perfect place and will be back for many years to come!!

First of all, David saved us from an awful situation with a different home we had rented from someone else. He was gracious enough to make a deal with us that would be mutually beneficial. The home is beautiful with stunning views. Excellent location, close to everything— especially the beach just steps away! Plenty of room for 23 of us (3 of whom are under 2 years of age). Plenty of seating and parking for our large group. The xtra kitchenette with additional refrigerator room and a large ice maker was super helpful and convenient for filling coolers! David was extremely helpful and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you David!!!

We had a wedding renewal. I promise. Best people to work with. Very very nice location and house.

From beginning to end. Was like a dream. To me and my wife. We did a wedding renewal. And had are five kids there with there spouses. We had very close friends as well with us, stayed four days. And had the best time ever. Location. U can’t beat. If u want closer to the beach then this house. I suggest a house on the water. Can’t beat location or house very very well worth the money and Mr and Mrs Dubiel owners. Can’t say enough on them. Made us fill like family. And took care of us with any need we ran into. Thanks again to all involved in making are stay a dream come true. God Bless u all.

Ocean Front and Beautiful!!!

If you are looking for a home that is ocean front, this is the one!!!! The homes location on the beach is just far enough away from busy hotels that you feel like you have the beach to yourselves. The chair/umbrella service was a great addition to our stay. We had a full house of families and there still felt like we had extra room. The layout of the home allows multiple families to have privacy and join together in the living area and outdoor spaces for family fun. The home is located in a quiet area and it so close to shopping, food, and fun areas for the kids. We felt very safe in the area and home. Lots of parking and garage space. The property manager was easy to communicate with and worked hard to make our stay very special. We flew in and out of Destin airport and it was about 45 minutes from the home. We will miss waking up to the beautiful ocean right outside the front door! Loved our week in paradise !!!

Good experience overall

A few minor issues but nothing that couldn’t be overcome. There were no latches on the basement French door and it wouldn’t stay closed unless you remembered to lock it. One of the toilets had to keep the lid off the tank to flush it properly. And one of the ceiling fans wouldn’t turn off with the wall switch. Again, all small things. The house had plenty of space and a nice layout for gathering. Great beach view from all three levels! It also had a washer and dryer on multiple levels…huge plus! Plenty of parking space, too!

Gorgeous beach views!

What a great stay! There was a party of 15 of us from all ages. We had littles, little littles, teenagers, and adults. This house was fit for all of us. The beach chair service was especially wonderful so I recommend that to everyone! It’s a private beach, and with the chairs sitting out we rarely had anyone in our space. It was peaceful and beautiful with occasional dolphins hopping out of the ocean in the background. The upstairs master bed was especially magical. We slept with the curtains open and could see the ocean all night. Also, one of my favorite things in the house is the jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. There was a removable shower head that I easily was able to bathe my two kids in the bath with little effort. The house was so comfortable that our son slept in a big boy bed for the first time ever all by himself! I’m fact, he slept in there with a full nights rest every night. Plenty of dishes for our 15 person group, as well as 2 washers and dryers. I was able to bring home clean clothes! There was only one minor issue and the host had maintenance fix in just a couple hours. He was very responsive and took great care of us. The location is phenomenal! It’s almost Unbeatable! We highly recommend! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Great Location/Outdated Photos & Description

First off, the home has potential to be beautiful, but unfortunately it isn’t. The home has a wonderful location, beautiful views, and plenty of space. That is where the pros end. Upon entering the home we realized the stairs to enter the home are very narrow & dangerous. The lighting on the stairs, as in the photos does not work. After entering, the gourmet kitchen is nonexistent. All appliances are now builder’s grade appliances that are not in the best of condition. The ice maker didn’t work properly and the refrigerator didn’t cool well. There were several cracked tiles throughout the main floor, burnt out light bulbs, remotes missing batteries, missing remotes, among other things. The round table pictured was broken and covered with Dollar Store table cloths. The Bose Surround Sound also didn’t exist. The “Game Room” was very sad. It included a partially functioning air hockey table. All bathrooms were disgusting and had issues of their own. Leaks, broken towel/TP holders, poor water pressure, broken toilet seats, advertised jetted tub did not work. Very disappointed with the bait and switch between the photos and description to what was actually provided. Please be very careful on the front stairs and patio. Since tiles are not a travertine tile, as pictured on patio, and instead a manufactured stone, they are not slip resistant when wet and are extremely slick with the smallest amount of moisture. Luckily only one fall with no injuries. Potentially nice.

Great Location!!!

We really enjoyed the location of the beach house and the views are amazing!!! The owner was absolutely great to deal with. Please note that there is no hot tub or margarita machine as pictured in the photos and videos. As we are an order bunch of folks the couch and loveseat in the 2nd floor living room was very hard to get out of as they are broken down. Downstairs there is no lights in the living area that would work and the air condition downstairs wasn't working at full potential.

Amazing Property

Truly an incredible property. The views cannot be beat. The house was clean and prepared perfectly for our two week stay. Could not have asked for a better place. David was also incredibly helpful and prompt with any questions that we had. I would highly recommend staying here.

A great house with a great location! We especially loved all of the outdoor seating that allowed us to experience the beach when we weren't on the beach. I would recommend this house and look forward to another stay in the future.

Beautiful beach and water

We had a group of 15 adults and 5 children (7 and under) and the number of bedrooms was perfect as well as number of bathrooms. Loved the short stroll onto the beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water. Really appreciated being able to arrange to have three beach chairs/umbrellas/tables set up daily. Downside was that the house was not ready to be occupied at 4:00 pm as stated in the contract. I contacted David and was told that there was a problem with the previous guests as well as their housekeeping staff. Honestly, I didn't care because this was not my problem. We did not enter until almost 4:30 and even then people were still cleaning. Also, we knew ahead of time that the ice in fridge on the main level was slow but that there was a separate ice machine downstairs that we could use. Unfortunately, this never worked. Someone came out to "fix" it the night we arrived but it never worked. With that many people in a house in FL in the summer, this was not ideal. Despite these disappointments we all had a wonderful week.

Great Week For Our Family

Every aspect of our week at David and Laurie's home was perfect - the location, the home, check in/check out. David went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed before and during our vacation. So much room, the views!!!! and the house is simply amazing. We can't wait to visit again, truly a special home with very thoughtful and kind owners. Cannot recommend enough - truly 5/5 stars!!!!

We have been coming to Emerald Coast/Destin with our 7 children since 1989. As you can tell we are very pro family! We purchased The Magnificat for this reason! We needed space primarily bedroom and bathrooms for everyone to be happy including the spouses of our children and future grandchildren. We had a very difficult time finding a home on the beach with lots of bedrooms on the beach! We rented condos, homes and hotel rooms over the years from Navarre Beach to Santa Rosa Beach. We are very particular and family type owners knowing what Renters are looking for! After searching real estate properties for over 7 years, we knew we found the perfect place for our family vacation or long weekend getaways to invite our friends to the beach!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! On the BEACH! The Magnificat is located in a private old south Florida subdivision directly adjacent to the Sandestin resort!. Walking distance to the Sandestin resort along the beach. Drive one street light away to the East and you will find Baytown shops and restaurants. To the West, go one street light to the Silver Sands outlet!
Views of the Emerald water from all 3 levels. 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and over 4000 square feet of living area. Large kitchen and second living area for kids or guests to play video games or watch movies. Walk out your back door and just take a few steps to the beach!

What makes this property unique

PRIVATE BEACH!! We didn't like fighting for a spot on the beach or being in the second or third rows of chairs & umbrellas staying at the large condo's or the Hilton resort! At our home you can literally walk out the back door, down a private board walk on to the beach. How convenient is that for returning with cold drinks or a quick nap inside the air-conditioning. We love all 3 decks overlooking the Emerald waters and the views from the living area, kitchen and master bedroom! We can see the dolphins swimming by or step out to a seasonal turtle nest in the sand and count how many hatchings!
