The house has been given a make over early in the year to give you a wonderful escape to the heart of the island, Portree.
Ideal for family holidays, groups of friends, or even 2 families of 4!

Excellent house to stay at portree

Brilliant property for family holidays. Facilities and amenities were excellent. Felt like home away from Home. We all enjoyed our Family Christmas at this place. We will come back again

Wonderful stay, great location

This is a very nice property. Very comfortable and a short walk to the center of Portree. Communication with the property managers was great.

Fabulous stay in Portree

The Cairnmhor House was wonderful! We were a group of 4 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. Quick walk into town, very comfortable. We’ll be back!

Great space for party of six

Very convenient to poetry for dining and shopping. Lots of room for our family of six. We enjoyed the big dining table and made use of the washer and dryer.

Perfect in Portree

We had a fabulous stay in the perfect location. All the beds were comfy, great bathrooms and towels.The kitchen was so large and easy to enjoy as a family. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect place in Portree

Comfortable lounge, well equipped facility, and perfect location! Five minute walk to downtown square & harbor. Plus was a washer & dryer as we were on a two week holiday. Finding the place was a little tricky. For future guests, it’s located across from the Portree High School. Would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely Properety

Good size and comfortable for eight adults plenty parking Easy walk to restaurants and shops in Portree. Warm and well equiped and clean House is first on left down Seafield Place, this is not clear from GPS or from the name plaque Would definitely book again

Stayed for getting married

The house was amazing !. Me and my partner came up with our family to get married in Skye. House was clean and a great size. Very comfortable to stay in and would happily come back.

Great house for a group

We were a party of 6 and the house was just right for us. The three bathrooms were nice to have as well. It was a challenge finding the house but once we used the GPS location they provided it got us there. The house was a short walk to town for shopping or dinner. The location was a good base for touring the isle of Skye.

Spacious House

We enjoyed our stay in this well-located house. Easy walk into town. Plenty of room to spread out for the whole family. Clean and comfy. Would stay again.

Excellent stay

Family of 6 stayed here and loved it. House is spacious and warm. Great location, excellent facilities. No complaints. I have stayed in lots of air bnbs in Skye when up visiting family and this really is one of the best ones.

Great House in a beautiful location

The house was a great place to stay when visiting Isle of Skye. The appliances were a little difficult to figure out. Comfortable living space to hang out. Overall, a great stay!

Good stay, great location

The location of this property couldn’t be better. Quick walk right into the centre of Portree and easy access to everything Skye has to offer. The rooms are spacious but the real selling point is the kitchen and dining room. If you love board games and family meals this is definitely the place to be. Really need to think about space though as there wasn’t a lot of cupboard space in the kitchen to put food etc. But dishwasher and laundry facilities were great and tablets provided for both.

Comfortable modern decor, well equiped house. Stayed as 4 couples and accommodation worked well. It was well equiped cosy and comfortable.5 mimute walk into Portree centre. Easy access all over the island. Lovely gardens and ample parking for four cars Downside name of property not clearly visible so toom a while to find. A mirror i the bedrroms without ensuites would be good

Excellent and pleasant experience

Fantastic stay

Our stay at Cairnmhor was excellent. The property was stunning and better than expected. Just a 10 minute walk into Portree meant this was a fantastic location and a half our drive to most attractions on the Isle of Skye. We will definitely be back at the property and will recommend it to family and friends.

Nice stay on Skye

We had a great stay here. The location was fantastic, 5 minute walk to downtown. The kitchen is nice and open and the large kitchen table fit all of us. The living room had a fireplace to make it extra cozy.
