This Edinburgh apartment holds so much character, it gives you a true sense of the city's Old Town.
Windows in the lounge look directly onto the prominent castle, which stands meters above. The entire flat has been created to feel comfortable yet traditional, which suits it's location perfectly.

A brand new kitchen has just been fitted in this property and includes all of the appliances and amenities you could wish for during your stay.

There is a comfortable sized bathroom with a new shower and light up vanity mirror.

The bedrooms are situated at the quiet rear of the property. There is one king sized room, boasting a traditional and luxurious bed and the second room hold a further day bed. This can be used as either a small double, or single bed, suitable for one large adult or two small adults/ children. Both bedrooms have ample hanging space to allow for slightly longer stays.

The apartment would suit families or couples travelling together perfectly.

If you're visiting Edinburgh for the rich history and want to be in the prime spot- this is the apartment for you.
Located on one of Edinburgh's oldest streets and surrounded by cafes, restaurants and all of the main attractions, this flat couldn't be any better situated.

The Neighbourhood:
Originally where the Royal horses were kept, this street holds one of the most history in Edinburgh. Nip a few strides down the road and head up Grannie's Green Steps to be right in front of the cities greatest monument.
Grassmarket is the real hustle and bustle of Edinburgh and is the centre of all attractions.

Getting around:
We always recommend guests visit Edinburgh by foot. There is so much which could be missed when driving around, so put on your sneakers and find the hidden gems!

Don't Expect to Sleep In
Great location...within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile, shops, restaurants, etc. Paid parking is available nearby in a long-stay parking garage. We booked ahead online with Parkopedia and were able to secure a better rate. Check-in was a bit confusing as the name of the shop, where we were told to pick up the keys, does not exist. We did some sleuthing and, after speaking with other shop owners in the general area, we were able to locate the key pick-up. After booking the unit and paying the fees, the host told us that there was construction near the building. As it turned out, the heavy equipment construction is right outside the bedroom window. The contractors are in full swing by 7:00 a.m. so sleep-ins were not an option. The host told us that she was leaving a bottle of bubbly as compensation for the construction but no bubbly was provided. Communication with the property manager is slow and not all that helpful. We weren't able to get the stove top working for the first day or two until the property manager got back to us. We stayed at this property for three days. In the middle of the night on the last night of our stay, my wife awoke to find that the toilet tank had ruptured. I searched around to find the water main shut off and my family mopped up as the property manager was not available to help until later in the morning.

Great apartment very close to Grass Market.
A quiet apartment but very close to Castle, Grass Market and many of Edinburgh top sites. Shower is a little small but Definitely recommend.

Comfortable and well located for key activities in old city. Had a wonderful time with family and enjoyed the bedding for resting.

Perfect location; check-in is a hassle
This was a LOVELY property and perfectly located. Just a short walk from many tasty restaurants (try Petit Paris on Grassmarket), the castle, Victoria Street, Royal Mile, etc. Be aware there will be stairs to climb from the street up to the castle and Royal Mile, but this would happen anywhere in the hilly city. Communication with the host--specifically regarding questions and issues with payment--was a bit spotty. The biggest negative was the distance between the property and the "keynest store" where we had to pick up the keys (about a mile walk, one way). Also, since our flight arrived early in the day, we had to store our luggage elsewhere, and the closest spot required us to take our luggage down steep flights. We found out that we MIGHT have been able to store luggage at the keynest store, but they couldn't have guaranteed it ahead of time, so finding another place was a must for us. Overall, it was a great spot.
