Right in the heart of the countryside in beautiful Ryde, this collection of charming huts beckons the work-weary and the frazzled for some time away from the hustle and bustle. Open plan designs give each lodge a bright, contemporary feel, and with French doors you can open and enjoy the country views even when you’re spending time inside.

Set on the beautiful Buttercup Barn Retreats site in Wootton Bridge, Rosemary has compact, yet bright design – and with views of the surrounding grounds it’s a cosy space to unwind together.
Outside, you’ll be able to enjoy al fresco dining thanks to the barbecue, and with your own enclosed space and a table and chairs, life at Rosemary tends to be a string of lazy days enjoying the peace and quiet and your own little corner of the countryside. There’s good news if you wouldn’t feel right without your dog in tow too, as he’ll be as welcome as the two of you to enjoy the experience.
The Buttercup Barn Retreat resort’s been created to offer that rural adventure, and it’s a tranquil setting. With the friendly resort of Ryde within easy distance, you’ll have plenty of days out on your doorstep, and we can’t think of a better setting for a walking break.
Rosemary can be booked together with Olive (BCOLIVE), and Bay (BCBBAY) to accommodate up to 6 guests.
No children or babies allowed.
Hot tub charges are £20 per week, £15 per short break. Please contact the owner to arrange payment.

Lovely ! 1st time in shepherds hut and enough room for us all (2x1doggie) for 3 days 😊 doggie loved the free roam of garden & we had great weather so good for us too! Hot tub clean and a came in handy after our days out … great little find 😊

A beautiful little place in the country....very clean, every little thing you could wish for was supplied. Great outdoor space for your dog too....we even slept with the door cracked open as the weather was hot....felt very secure...lovely seeing uninterrupted sunrise and starry skies. Will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

We stayed for 4 nights with our dog and had an amazing time. The views were beautiful, the bed was so comfy, overall it was an adorable place to stay. Took a while to figure out the hot water for the shower but even then we can't fault it.
We would recommend staying here to anyone

Thoroughly enjoyable accomodation for a short break. Everything we needed was provided and Dudley and his wife were very welcoming and accommodating. The shepherds hut is small but perfect for a short break.

We booked this break for some peace and quiet, and we definitely got that.
We booked this break for some peace and quiet, and we definitely got that. Lovely location overlooking fields with abundant wildlife, but at the same time, near enough to local amenities by car. Great to have a fenced off garden area for our dog too.
The accommodation was so well appointed and very comfortable. Plenty of hot water and practical kitchen area.
We definitely want to come back.
