Wonderful holiday

We spent two weeks here, location is perfect for walking on the boardwalk to restaurants in Cabopino or the other way to Max Beach. Luna beach and Pirates are very close by and we ate in there a lot too. The pool outside is very well maintained and the beach is just outside. We will miss listening to the waves sitting outside on the balcony. The apartment is in a beautiful secure complex with free parking just outside. We can’t wait to come back!

Loved our time here

Great apartment in a fantastic spot right on the beach. Considering it was height of summer it’s close enough to everything but far enough away to still have a peaceful relaxing time. The apartment was spotless but I marked it a 4 due to guests rather than owners as the couch has been marked by people not obviously sitting on the comfortable sofa with sun lotion on or something as there was some slight marks. Not the owners fault. Would recommend this place to anybody who loves the sound of the sea and watching the world go by. Beautiful pool and the gardens are well kept and never busy. Everything was great. Definitely stay again.

Very tired, in need of refurbishment & new bedding.

Advertised as stunning, but in need of a refurb. Photos cleverly taken ( quite a long time ago we think). Pillows smelly and thin. No proper beddingz. Stained mattress. Towels small & thin. Sofa dirty looking & smelled sweaty. Mattress stained. Suspicious stains on cushions. Washing machine smelled and was full of black mould. No black out blind in front bedroom & there’s a street light outside. Dirty & broken rattan furniture on balcony. In our opinion not worth the nightly rate charged. Positives: Good location.

It was great to stay here. The property was perfect for what we needed and the pool area was lovely. Checking in and out was also easy and the communication was really good. I’d stay here again!

Fabulous

Fabulous apartment & location. We spent 4 weeks enjoying the bars, restaurants & marina which are all close by. The boardwalk is excellent for walking up & down the coastline. The apartment is comfortable, well furnished & equipped. We spent many happy hours on the balcony watching the sea views. Lidl & Mercadona are an easy walk. Solfinders were extremely helpful and easy to deal with - thanks Lynne.

Fabulous location

Lovely apartment in best location. Sun all day on good sized terrace. Comfortable beds. Great relaxing views. Short walk to several beach bars. Supermarkets close by. We stayed for 7 weeks and really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great Week in Calahonda

Lovely apartment in a great location. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Nice restaurant next door (that we used a lot). Bedding (i.e. specifically bottom sheet) could have been better quality as it came off the mattress every night. Overall we had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment.

Great Vistas

A great location with beautiful grounds and pool area easy access to the the beach and local bars and restaurants. The boardwalk is great for getting around the area. The apartment was well equipped comfortable and clean - couldn’t have asked for more !! Would recommend should you want a quiet pretty location with local amenities nearby

Great place by the beach, would stay again in a heartbeat

This is a fantastic apartment in a really nice little apartment block. Lovely location right on the beachfront. The apartment has lovely sea views. The apartment is clean, modern and has all the amenities that you may wish for during your stay. It has a lovely large balcony with a stunning sea view and french windows to make the most of the view when in the living area. There is a shared pool which was really nice size and lovely to have access to. The security is good - there are gates to access the apartment complex, then there are additional locked gates and doors to access the apartment - you feel safe. The beach is directly infront of the apartment complex, it has life guards, and sunbeds that can be rented. It is a nice sandy beach with some stones. During our stay the sea was calm on some days, rough on others - on these days we used the pool at the apartment. The apartment has a reasonable amount of shared parking and it is a short drive away from supermarkets - Lidl is just around the corner, there is also a Mercadona one junction down the dual carriageway. The apartment is right next to a beach bar that serves food. There is a short walk to other beach bars in either direction along the promenade which are lovely. You could walk to Cabopino (the marina) in about 30 minutes but we took the car, its a couple of junctions up the dual carriageway - we would recommend visiting. We would happily stay at this apartment again and hope to do so for a longer time period in the future :o)

Great location and apartment

Great location, no need for a car, got fit walking the boardwalk each day to lots of great places, restaurants, shops. Watching the sun go down from the balcony each night with a glass of Rioja, perfect! Our teen loved the pool, could swim at any hour, beach a little choppy and rocky but super warm sea. Aircon worked well. Loved our stay!

Fantastic apartment in great location

The apartment was fantastic, and exactly what we were looking for. The first floor apartment over looks the garden, pool and the beach is just a few metres further on, making the outlook great. The apartment is very well locked after and has everything you need away from home, including air-con in all rooms. The agents were really good in offering to help with check in / out as we were arriving at awkward times, and the apartment owner asked for any feedback for the property and replied very quickly. We would definitely look to book this apartment again when we revisit Calahonda. The location could not be better, right next to the beach, beach bar / restaurant next door and all you could want in walking distance. All in all a fantastically presented apartment in a great location.

Wonderful stay here, loved it !

We enjoyed our week here immensely. The location is excellent, literally 20 feet from the beach with just the pool between the apartment and beach. Never crowded, with lovely restaurants and bars nearby, some within 5 mins walk, with a greater selection about 15 mins in both directions. The apartment has all you could want with recently upgraded kitchen and bathrooms with the air conditioning truly the best I have ever known ! We will be back, a truly relaxing week in a lovely apartment with lovely surroundings. Treat yourself and stay here.... you won't be disappointed .

Beautiful view

We only stayed at the apartment for 3 nights at the end of June 2022 after a 14 day break in the mountains in Andalusia. We wish we had booked for longer. The apartment was clean and light an airy. There was lots of spices sugar coffee in the apartment they had thought of everything. Just in case you wanted cook and not go out to all the restaurants along the boardwalk. The bed was the best we had slept in for years on holiday and aircon was not needed but we tried it and it worked well. We went to bed with the patio door to the bedroom open and we had the noise of the sea all night. The view from the balcony was just brilliant and the pool area was very well kept. If you are driving to the apartment there is plenty of parking spaces at the back of the building. We would not hesitate to come here again. The whole building could do with a lick of paint to keep it up to date with this well maintained apartment. Lovely stay Kim and Graham

Relaxing getaway

Never been to this part of Spain before. A very lucky find. Property had everything we needed. Peaceful, beautiful views and in a great location for exploring the area by foot or by car. Maybe could have been a little bigger for our needs as 2 couples as bedroom 2 and 2nd bathroom on the small side but this didn’t ruin our experience

Excellent modern apartment with perfect sea view

Clean, tidy and very well looked after. Modern waterfall showers x2 and very comfy bed for a great peaceful nights sleep. Only the gentle turning of the waves. Everything you need to cook etc. Walking distance (unless reduced mobility) to shops and local bus stop. 3.10 euros into La Cala De Mijas. Easy check in process and good communication from owner, Grounds well maintained and a very welcome swimming pool. Straight onto boardwalk to la cala 6k and Cabopino in other direction. No car necessary. Would certainly recommend for a lovely week in the sun.
