About this property

Beautiful Great Sacandaga Lake home with beach, dock and all amenities!

Come enjoy our exceptional home for the perfect family vacation! We have everything you need to make your stay relaxing.

The house features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The master on the first floor has a king bed and spacious full bath, both upstairs bedrooms have queen beds along with cubbies for the kids and a shared large bathroom, and the basement suite has a double bed and private full bath. Bath towels will be provided and all beds will have fresh quality sheets. We also hire a professional cleaning service before and after every stay.

The main living area faces the lake and has a very high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. The kitchen is fully equipped to feed the largest of groups and includes dishwasher and microwave. The enclosed sun room off the living room is the perfect place to relax in the evening. The front deck is covered and has a table and chairs as well as a gas grill. Watch the kids play in the huge lawn from the sun room or deck. There is also a washer/dryer and a clothesline under the deck. There is wireless internet. There are also two pack and plays available if needed.

We have a lovely beach area with picnic table, beach chairs and fire pit. The lawn is very large and perfect for all sorts of games. There is a large dock to swim from. We also have a row boat, canoe, full size stand up paddle board, two small kayaks (sit on top style) and life jackets to use. The waterfront is about 200 yards from the house, just walk down the path, no roads to cross. There is a four person golf cart included with the rental, making it easy to move people and beach gear back and forth from the house.

Our house is 3 miles to Northville where there's a large grocery store, sports bar, gas station, pizza place, coffee shop, general store and a boat launch. Both the Sport Island Pub and Lanzi's are restaurants accessible by boat and car. We are located about 45 minutes to downtown Saratoga, NY if you want to venture out for some excellent restaurants and shopping. Please no power boats.

Family trip

Great property with wonderful lake access. The golf cart is a convenient way to get to and from the beach. The kids had a great time sleeping in the kid cubbies. Kitchen is well stocked.

Really wonderful stay and a beautiful home. Hosts were responsive, friendly, and it is clear they take great care of their property and spend a lot of time and extra attention to detail! Beautifully manicured yard, a spotless home, and fully equipped kitchen. Amazing private beach and the lake is beautiful! This was our third Vrbo year and my family hands down chooses this as the favorite (and we loved the other places too- just this one is extra special). Already looking forward to next year.

Lake stay

We had a great stay! Everything was there for us when we arrived. The house was perfect for our two families. We enjoyed the eating out on the porch. The enclosed porch was also a great place to relax. The location was great and we enjoyed the beach and the lakefront every day we were there. The owner was very responsive and thoughtful!

What a lovely property for our vacation! Our group included my husband and I and our 2 adult children and, for the second week, friends of ours with their 3 teenagers. We found absolutely everything we needed to make family meals and enjoy time on the lake. Our hosts were wonderful and quick to respond when we had questions. The golf cart was so handy for bringing gear to the dock where we were able to keep the boat we rented for our second week. Hoping we can stay there again soon!

Family Reunion

Truly special people who care. Beautiful house, wonderful property made for a special family reunion. We come to the Great Sacandaga Lake every year and Pats house was by far the nicest. We had a brief issue trying to get tv's working and she came out with her daughter and helped get us going. Very responsive to all questions and needs. For sure would recommend to any and all. Huge beach area. fire pits, decks, and space to spread out. Thanks for the memories.

Lake Sacandaga

We had a wonderful time with our family in this beautiful home on lake Sacandaga. Pat could not have been more accommodating. The house is spacious, clean, and well appointed. Our grandkids loved the lake and riding in the golf cart! We would definitely return!

Wonderful spot for family gathering on the lake!

Absolutely loved our stay at this house. We traveled with my immediate family (spouse and two young kids), parents, and sister's family (spouse and two young kids). The house is so thoughtfully designed to have spaces that feel open for gatherings, but also lots of private nooks to get time apart. There was more than ample room for all of us to sleep. The pictures really don't do the interior justice - very lovely house. And the access to the lake was just perfect. Private short walk on a gravel path through the woods takes you to your own private beach and dock. The house had a paddle board, canoes, and kid kayaks so that we could all get out on the lake when the kids weren't playing in the sand or water. The house is very thoroughly and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed, including plenty of towels, a bin of sand toys at the beach, and lots of nice kitchen and tableware.

Wonderful rental!

Great place to vacation.

Great place for a family vacation. House is huge and beautiful. Patricia is very helpful. We were 6 adults and 3 children and even though it rained a lot during our week we had a great time. Hope to return some day.

A Week on the Lake

My family and I had the most incredibally enjoyable time in this beautiful home! It had so much to offer by way of comfort and recreation. The days are hot and the nights are nicely cool.....just what one would expect in the Adirondacks! We barbecued each night sitting on this great deck watching the sun set! In the morning, we were awakened by the gorgeous sun rise, if we so chose! fires in the beach fire pit were wonderful especially when we made smores !! Our goal was to catch up on some long overdue reading coupled with working via the internet.....made for a good balance of time and energy! The owner is a gracious person who couldn't be nicer, hospitable or more available if we needed her. There's a great ice cream place in town called Perry's which is "to DIE for" good! we were also a short ride to Saratoga Springs for a nice lunch and SPAG entertainment.

Wonderful!

Our family has stayed at Patty's place on a number of occasions! The house is beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. Easy access to the lake with all the comforts of home. The kids spent hours playing on the beach and swimming in the water. It is a wonderful family getaway with lots of room for friends!

We built this house from the ground up in 2009. Everything is designed to accommodate an extended family with children which is who we imagine renting our home.
