Our country house, in Magliano, in Barberino Val d’Elsa area, is located in a hillside position with views of the typical Chianti hills, rich in vineyards and with view on lovely charming old villages, Barberino Val d’Elsa, S.Gimignano, Gambassi and Montaione.
Completely and very very carefully renowed maintaining the peculiar characteristic of Tuscany colonica house and furnishing with old family furniture: the result is a lot fascinating.
Private garden of 250 mq, adjacent to the other apartment’s garden, separated by arbutus hedge, with a table to eat and deckchairs

Hidden Gem

Our stay was excellent. Location, location, location. Small town atmosphere while within reach of anywhere you wanted to go in Tuscany. Sylvia was the best hostess! The “feel at home” stay after spending time touring Tuscany is second to none. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to both tour Tuscany and feel like a local living in Tuscany at the same time. And the swimming pool was awesome. Absolutely perfect in each and every way!!!

Charming Tuscan Villa

Beautifully renovated farm house. Lots of space for a family with 3 children. We had a wonderful time. Pool enclosed in bushes in trees was very clean and refreshing. Well equipped kitchen. Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra,… not far away.

A Hallmark Movie!

This home was right out of a Hallmark movie! Absolutely spectacular views and charm that can’t be matched! My husband and I took our 4 young adult/teenage sons on an amazing trip through Italy. This was by far our favorite housing. The house is just minutes from a small town on the outskirts of Florence where we were able to grocery shop and eat at some amazing restaurants that were not in the middle of huge tourist spot. We did some small day trips to Siena and Monteriggioni, plus we did an amazing bicycle tour through the Tuscany hillside. Truly dream-like!!! Pray they we can return soon!!!

Hidden gem

If you are looking for a practical, Ikea furnished location, this might not be your cup of tea. But if you are looking for a charming, cosy and homey cottage, this is it. The kitchen is not very handy for cooking elleborate meals, but why on earth would you want to?!? You're in Italy, there's a good restaurant on every corner... The location is perfect for day trips to Siena, Florence and Pisa and very tranquil. That is, if you can get up from one of the lazy chairs either in the garden or in the living room.

Beautiful and peaceful property in the heart of Tuscany

This is a very beautiful, spacious and characterful property, which is perfectly located to explore Florence, Siena and other highlights of the Tuscan countryside. The photos don't fully do it justice. There are lots of little touches that make it really special, with wonderful views in all directions. The pool is perfect for cooling down on summer days (we stayed in late July). The house got quite hot during the day (there is no air-conditioning and some large glass doors) but with a breeze at night it did not stop us from sleeping well. Easy communication with the owner and efficient check-in. All in all, very highly recommended.

Tuscan Loveliness

We could not believe our luck! The renovated farmhouse that we had discovered on VRBO sat on a hilltop, surrounded by the loveliest views. After four exciting but frenetic days in Rome, we loved the sound of the cuckoo echoing across the valley and the luminous sunsets followed by profound silence. The location is perfect for day trips to Sienna and Florence — if you can bear to leave your peaceful refuge. The house is spacious except for the kitchen, which is well -equipped with everything but counter space. But it is adequate to prepare simple meals from the grocery store just a mile or two away. Our group of four occasionally ran out of hot water and places to plug things in, but we would return in a heartbeat. Silvia is delightful and happy to tell about the property and offer recommendations for places to go. If you want to experience the beauty of Tuscany for a reasonable price, book this Casa.

Wir hatten einen wunderbar erholsamen und ruhigen Familienurlaub mit viel Platz in diesem wunderschönen Landhaus. Gute Ausstattung der Küche, drei Tische im Wohnbereich, schöner Garten ebenfalls mit großem Tisch!Der eigene Pool war nicht nur für die Kinder ein Highlight. Lieben Dank auch an Silvia, die schnell reagiert hat, wenn wir mal eine Frage hatten und uns auch wertvolle Tipps geben konnte.Der Ort Tavarnelle mit Restaurants & Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten bergauf entfernt, wir empfehlen die Cremeria für leckeres Eis! Barberino Val d‘Elsa mit weiteren Restaurants ist nur 6 Autominuten entfernt.

Vicina a molti luoghi da visitare e con la piscina perfetta. La zona tranquilla con bel paesaggio. Unico neo la piscina che ha lasciato un alone verde sui costumi. Per il resto top.

Nous avons adoré l’endroit et tout le charme de la toscane. Toutefois dans la cuisine la vaisselle et les ustensiles étaient sales. Nous avons lavé la vaisselle avant de l’utiliser. Peut-être que c’était les locataires avant nous qui les avaient laisser dans cet état. Merci

Casa splendida, molto più bella di come appare nelle foto, arredata con grande gusto per i dettagli, dotata di tutto, circondata da colline e cipressi, con una veranda all'aperto dove mangiare, rilassarsi e stare insieme ed una piscina non grande ma circondata dal verde e piacevolissima.

4 giorni in Chianti da favola

Punto strategico per esplorare il Chianti. Casolare molto grande, ben arredato e fornito e con un ottimo spazio esterno. Complice il. El tempo abbiamo cenato fuori e approfittato del barbecue per cucinare le fiorentine spessire 6 cm innaffiate dall’ottimo vino che abbiamo trovato come benvenuto. Torneremo sicuramente.

Tuscan Authentic house

The House is a beautiful authentic home complete with terracotta tile floor with open beam ceilings, kitchen and pantry contain all you will need. Bathroom showers and bath are modern. Grounds are well kept and include a private pool. but the most impressive thing of all is the host Silvia who was a great source of information including restaurants, winerys & places to visit. She was always available to resolve any issues although we didn't have any. Location wise it is pretty much between Florence and Siena about a 40 min drive to either, a very short drive to many "Chianti Classico" vineyards. The house is a 3 bedroom and can comfortably accommodate 6/7 because of an extra single in one of the bedrooms. I couldn't recommend it enough thanks for everything Silvia

Schöner Urlaub

Silvia hat uns herzlich empfangen obwohl wir fast 1 Stunde später gekommen sind als wie angekündigt, weil die Hausnummer auf Googlemaps nicht stimmt, und wir erst an einem anderen Objekt angekommen sind.

Das Haus war super eingerichtet, sauber und auf alle Bedürfnisse ausgerichtet, incl Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine und Haushaltsgeräten. Beide Schlafzimmer groß mit guten Matrazen, netter Garten und Pool. Sylvia als Vermieterin war sehr nett, schnell in der Kommunikation und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt volle fünf Sterne für unseren Aufenthalt.

Well rested and relaxed at Magliano

Magliano is a grand old home, very spacious and full of character. We all slept great every night, beds were comfortable and with windows open it was so relaxing at night. Thank you to Silvia for hosting.

Merveilleuses vacances

Très belle maison avec beaucoup de charme et meublée avec goût. Les tours de Saint Gimignano sont visibles de la maison, autour vigne et champs d'oliviers. La vue est majestueuse. Petit bémol toutefois, pas de chauffage durant notre séjour ( mesures gouvernementales du moment ) l'eau n'était pas très chaude ( peut être dû à la coupure de chauffage...) nous avons un peu souffert de la fraicheur du matin et du soir. Nous recommandons vivement ce petit lieu de paradis pour des vacances au calme au milieu de la Toscane.

Toskana in Familie

Nach vielen Jahren wollten wir mal wieder einen Urlaub mit unseren beiden Söhnen - wie vor 20 Jahren - in der Toskana verbringen. Silvias Haus war dafür bestens geeignet, da es sehr geräumig ist, da war auch noch ausreichend Platz für Schwiegertochter und Enkelsohn. Obendrein ist alles sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
