The WoodSong Cabin is perched on both the edge of Lake Superior, as well as the edge of the open forest of Cascade River State Park. Completely rebuilt in 2016, this artisan crafted cabin was spared no expense in its attention to detail. From the overall design, down to the hand forged iron work, painstaking care was given to every square inch. The result is something more akin to a crafted wood sculpture than a mere dwelling.
Nestled along the bank of Lake Superior's rugged coastline, right at the very end of Cascade Beach Road, WoodSong is situated almost exactly between Lutsen and Grand Marais - easy 10 minute drives in either direction. A spacious main room is built around the granite-faced, wood burning fire place - with french door that opens directly out to the lake. Each of its two bedrooms has it's own, private spa-like bath, complete with deep soaking tub. With the use of the deluxe sleeper-sofa in the main room, this cabin can comfortably accommodate 6.
Outside, the charm is in full force... Not only is WoodSong patio a stone's throw from Lake Superiors lapping waves, it has a lake side covered porch. Repurposed from an original, historic North Shore Fish House - one of the few that remain still standing from that bygone era - time with coffee, wine and friends in the WoodSong Fish House is about as close to North Shore ecstasy as it gets!
