Casinha Formosa, a beautiful farmhouse with pool near the coast

Casinha Formosa is a wonderful house, a renovated "Quinta" (a typical Portuguese farmhouse) with 3 bedrooms and a newly built pool. It still has that real old-fashioned, cozy atmosphere, but with all modern conveniences. The quinta is named after the nearby Ria Formosa Natural Park with the amazingly beautiful lagoons and vast beaches on the islands off the coast.
The house is very conveniently located near the beautiful coast in the Eastern Algarve, south of the town of Moncarapacho, and only 2 kilometers from Fuseta and the beach. Also fascinating towns such as Olhão and Tavira are very easy to reach.
Casinha Formosa is situated in a rural, intimate landscape with all privacy. The entrance hall welcomes you in the atmosphere of tradition. There is a living room with a spacious seating area. In addition, there is a separate dining room with a nice-sized dining table for cozy long dining.
The kitchen is new, fully equipped, including an induction hob and dishwasher, and completely in the country style of the house and the surroundings.
On the ground floor there is 1 suite, a very spacious bedroom with a double bed and a sitting area. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower. From the bedroom you have access to the terrace that runs around the house.
A staircase leads from the kitchen to the first floor, where you have a large landing and access to 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is spacious with a double bed and a seat. There is an en-suite bathroom with a corner bath / shower. An outside door leads to a small balcony from where you can see the ocean in the distance.
The third bedroom in the house is a somewhat smaller room with 2 single beds.
From the landing on the first floor you can access the roof terrace via a small passage. A lovely terrace for those balmy summer evenings or to enjoy some hours of winter sun. You have a view over the rolling landscape and the ocean.
Casinha Formosa is nice and cool in the warm summer months, but there is air conditioning for extra coolness.
Around the house is a terrace where you can spend wonderful relaxing hours. A new built pool invites you to take a refreshing swim.

Casinha Formosa is very easy to reach, it is only a half an hour drive from Faro airport. You can reach the beautiful beaches, fascinating coastal towns such as Fuseta, Olhão and Tavira by car, but you can also explore the beautiful interior of the Algarve, where time seems to have stood still.
A nice day trip to world cities such as Lisbon or Seville is a great option.
If you prefer to leave the car as much as possible, you can explore the area by bike or cycle to the beach. But you can also take a wonderful walk through the countryside or along the beach. Casinha Formosa offers atmosphere, tranquility and space, but with all facilities within reach.
