!!!¡Patio al aire libre recientemente renovado para 2019!

Justo a lo largo de Esplanade de Woolacombe se encuentra Cliff Cottage en sus propios jardines privados, apartados y elevados de la carretera. Literalmente a unos pasos de la playa, cuenta con impresionantes vistas al mar a través de la playa de Woolacombe a Putsborough, Baggy Point y más allá.

Esta casa de estilo chalet de la década de 1950 ha sido recientemente renovada con una alta especificación y tiene capacidad para hasta 8 más un bebé en 3 espaciosas habitaciones y tendrá capacidad para 2 familias muy cómodamente.

El gran jardín delantero está cerrado con una valla de madera baja y puerta. Hay un amplio estacionamiento para 2/3 autos y el garaje ofrece un amplio espacio para almacenar tablas de surf, bodyboards, bicicletas y equipo general de playa. En la parte trasera de la casa hay dos duchas con calefacción para disfrutar después de un chapuzón en el mar. Instalaciones de vida en la playa en su mejor momento!

En la terraza principal del patio delantero hay una suite de muebles de exterior de estilo californiano donde los huéspedes pueden aprovechar al máximo las impresionantes vistas. En la otra área del patio delantero, afuera de la cocina, hay una mesa y sillas para comidas al aire libre. En la parte trasera de la propiedad hay un área de terraza que proporciona un espacio exterior más aislado, pero que aún disfruta de impresionantes vistas al mar.

Al entrar a la casa, a la izquierda de la puerta principal se encuentra el comedor de la cocina y el lavadero con lavadora y secadora. La cocina renovada tiene unidades blancas de estilo retro que ofrecen mucho espacio de almacenamiento, y electrodomésticos nuevos que incluyen lavaplatos, refrigerador / congelador de estilo americano y una cocina con 2 hornos y 5 quemadores, incluido un quemador wok.

A la derecha de las escaleras, la puerta conduce a 2 salas de estar, separadas por grandes puertas dobles que proporcionan un espacio de vida flexible. La primera habitación tiene dos sofás de tela gris antracita y un televisor Smart 4K Ultra HD de 55 "montado en la pared. El Smart TV tiene acceso a Internet para que los invitados puedan acceder a Netflix, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, etc. con sus propias cuentas. Hay un gran sofá de esquina en forma de L y un reposapiés adicional. Ambas habitaciones comparten las vistas más increíbles sobre la playa y el mar: ¡simplemente impresionantes!

En la parte posterior del área de la planta baja se encuentra el cuarto de baño con ducha doble, lavabo y WC. Las baldosas de travertino terminan un aspecto elegante y contemporáneo.

Junto a esto hay una habitación doble con dos camas individuales con cremallera que se pueden convertir en una súper cama king (indique su preferencia al hacer la reserva).

Arriba están los dos dormitorios adicionales. El lujoso dormitorio principal tiene una cama super extragrande y goza de impresionantes vistas al mar.

La otra habitación, ideal para niños y adolescentes, tiene una litera resistente de madera blanca de 3 pies y una cama individual de madera blanca con una cama nido extraíble debajo debajo que se puede colocar convenientemente en forma de L para maximizar el espacio en el piso.

En la parte superior de las escaleras también hay un baño con bañera, lavabo y WC. Los azulejos y la suite grises originales tienen una sensación de los años 70 y se suman al encanto de esta encantadora propiedad.

Con nuevos pisos, paredes encaladas y obras de arte influenciadas por la playa, Cliff Cottage se ve fresca, limpia y moderna, pero conserva el carácter de la casa más antigua que siempre se ha destacado con orgullo en The Esplanade.

Lovely Week at Cliff Cottage

Fantastic house in a stunning location

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week staying at Cliff Cottage and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. The location is absolutely excellent, perfectly situated on the esplanade with beautiful sea views and easy access to everything nearby. It was ideal for morning walks, evenings by the seafront, and simply enjoying the atmosphere. The cottage itself was very well equipped, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The facilities were thoughtfully provided and made it feel like a real home from home. What really stood out was the customer service. Incredibly responsive, helpful, and quick to deal with anything we needed during our stay. It made a huge difference knowing support was so efficient and friendly. Overall, a fantastic stay in a brilliant location, with excellent service throughout. We would definitely return.

Best view in Woolacombe

Cliff Cottage has one of the best positions and best views in Woolacombe. The whole stay is enhanced by looking out across the wide bay of Woolacombe to Baggy Point, both when sitting inside and when enjoying the extensive outdoor space.

Excellent location, within a few minutes walk to both beach and amenities. Wonderful views (even if currently slightly obstructed by current construction activities to beach cafe. Well equipped but some of the downstairs soft furnishings need updating.

Beautiful cottage

We had a fantastic time staying at cliff cottage. As a family we’ve stayed in Woolacombe before, but staying at cliff cottage made the holiday so much more enjoyable this year. The cottage had so much space for us all. There were beautiful views. There was everything we could possibly need inside, and we loved the extra touches in the kitchen. Would 10 out of 10 recommend this to anyone who asked, what a beautiful place to stay.

Great location in a comfortable house

We had a wonderful holiday at Cliff Cottage, the house had glorious views, but set back from the road. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and see the sunsets. The house is very spacious, the beds gloriously comfortable, excellent shower and very well equipped kitchen. Great to have a safe and secure garden for the dog. Overall a lovely stay, thank you ! Will be back

Brilliant Location

Cliff Cottage is in a brilliant location in Woolacombe with stunning views of the beach, rolling waves, and hills beyond. It was so easy and quick to go out for walks with the dog (who also loved the safe, secure garden). The cottage itself is generally comfortable and welcoming, an easy space for a relaxing holiday. Some aspects could do with a 'refresh' but in the end this did not distract from a good time. The team at Holiday Home Hunter were excellent: prompt and responsive in all communications. Thank you.

A very enjoyable stay at Cliff Cottage. The location of the property and its proximity to the beach and village were perfect. The cottage is simply furnished and very spacious. The lovely wraparound garden and outside space was a real bonus and perfect for our needs with an elderly relative and two dogs.

Another excellent week in Cliff Cottage

Cliff cottage is a wonderful holiday cottage, with fabulous sea views. The house is well equipped and offers ample space for four adults and three children. The outside showers and adjacent utility room are extremely useful when coming in from the beach. There is plenty of outdoor space and space for drying wet suits and boards. After a day on the beach it is so lovely to sit on the terrace of an evening, drink in hand…….just watching the sun go down. The Grandchildren (and the adults) are already looking forward to next years holiday in Cliff Cottage.

Family Holiday

Perfect location and lovely house. Space enough in the living rooms for 6 adults, 9 month old granddaughter and a 3 year old fur baby who loved the bunnies in the garden. The parking area has plenty of space and easily accommodated our 3 cars. Already book again for next year.

Just what we hoped for.

The property is a little tired, especially the kitchen but the view along Woolacombe sands makes up for the properties short comings. The master bedroom is very comfortable with a great view and we had a wonderful week.

Another lovely family holiday

Once again a very enjoyable holiday in this “cottage” in a super location. Ideal for the younger family members - beach,sea and walking and us “oldies” sitting on the terrace watching the world go by! The property is not luxurious but has all that you need for a very relaxing time and even the changeable weather didn’t detract from this. Have already booked again !

A gem in Woolacombes crown

Cliff Cottage on the Esplanade is the perfect location for a family holiday. There is easy access to the beach and local amenities that cater for your every need. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable with ample parking and amazing views. The outdoor showers were a real bonus for washing off the sand before going into the house. The welcome pack is a very nice gesture from the owners 'Thank you!' I highly recommend Cliff Cottage.

Our second “sea view fix” this year !

Keep coming back - booked again for next year. Not really suitable for the less mobile but once in the cottage it’s fine so my husband struggles up the steps just to enjoy the peace and views. The housekeepers do a really good job and have been so helpful. Looking forward to next July (if not before ?!)

This is a regular stay for us as a family. Wonderful location with fantastic walks from the door for us and the dogs. Handy for the shops and beach. The children loved the surfing. Ideal for the dogs with enclosed garden. We hardly used the car. Lots of lovely local cafes. Holiday Home Hunter are fantastic. Very helpful. Best Holiday Property agents we have dealt with.

Autumn holiday

Very nice house, but really a shame that the upstairs toilet didnt flush. Kitchen was a little bit worn down, pots and pans not really tidy, new baking trays are needed. Besides everything was fine.

Thanks for the review. It turns out that there is a knack to flushing the upstairs loo, had we been asked we could have explained, sorry. Good news on the kitchen, the owners are planning a new bigger kitchen possibly extended and a refit and change of utensils etc. They are trying for this winter downtime but it might not happen until next winter if not. I have asked you about the score of 3 for service and you explained that you thought it wasn't relevant as you hadn't asked us to help with anything so you slightly misunderstood and just chose a score halfway but you had no trouble or issue with our service I'm pleased to say. We look forward to welcoming you again.

Perfect location

This is a fantastic location just across the road from the beach. Stunning views, especially sitting out on the terrace. We've been returning here every year for over five years. It works well for grandparents as there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Two large sitting rooms mean plenty of space for a big family. It is always spotless. A few things could be updated or replaced, but are livable with. Overall, a really excellent location, with a garden and parking. Holiday Home Hunter who manage the bookings are friendly, professional and go out of their way to be helpful - thank you.

Great location and great car parking spaces.

The housekeepers were really very helpful. A new mattress was required for the travel cot as the one supplied was not long enough to fit the cot which they sorted and was delivered to Cliff Cottage. The one thing that was missing was summer duvets, the ones that are on the beds upstairs were very high tog. and were very hot. The shower floor was slippery, I had read this in a review so I took a bath mat with me.

Wonderful Week in June

This is only our second visit to Cliff Cottage but we have already booked for next year. That is really all you need to know. A fantastic holiday home in an amazing location for a family plus pets. We brought our dogs. The house is roomy and comfortable. The garden is also beautiful at this time of year. The location is wonderful for access to everything Woolacombe and Mortehoe has to offer and the views from the patio are wonderful. We did not use the car once but spent our time walking and exploring and visiting all the lovely cafes. We would thoroughly recommend this Cottage if you have a dog. Loads of different walks from the door. A perfect week to relax and unwind and forget all the troubles at home!
