Hi, I’m sorry that your experience was not pleasurable. I did respond to your call (very hostile) at a late hour and stated that the fuse must have been blown and gave alternatives to use the beside lamps for the time being. I explained where there fuse box was located. Upon my arrival to the house after your stay, this was the case. I flipped the switch and all was corrected. I also stated in my vrbo advertisement that we only have tv via Netflix and Hulu, it states this under tv option add. Again I’m sorry for the inconvenience and this is not our normal experience from our guest as you can see in all our other reviews. We truly do not deserve a one star review. Also after your stay our carpets were severely stained and I did not charge for that as I knew you had difficulties with your stay with the lighting.

Dorothy, I’m sorry that your experience with the internet was not the best. Yes, sometimes on extremely busy holiday days AT&T’s system does get overloaded. There is a house phone for use to make calls in the event that your service provider does not work well in the area. We have had many other renters since your visit and haven’t had complaints. I work very hard to ensure the house is ready for guests and to respond as soon as I can to any complications. Best of luck on your next rentals.

This experience from this guest has never been experienced by any other guest, pertaining to the heat. The house has a fully functioning whole house furnace that is controlled by a nest thermostat (maybe they didn’t know how to work) also on each floor there is a separate gas fireplace that is thermostat controlled. I do admit the fan blower on one fireplace can be annoying. Heat in the house is super sufficient even for winter conditions. I also want to add that we have corrected the internet as we were on the waiting list for starlink, now streaming is not an issue. With each guest if there is an issue please reach out for linens or questions, I am happy to help accommodate.
