Mignon House comprises of 6 tastefully decorated bedrooms, a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 ensuite bathrooms and a third family bathroom.

Spread over four floors the house dates back to 1740 and boasts many original features giving a real feel for life in the Georgian City.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Abbey, Thermae Spa, excellent restaurants and eclectic shops are all within a 5 minutes walk. The train station is only a 5-minute walk.

Mignon House is the most centrally located holiday home in Bath, yet tucked away in a tranquil square - Abbey Green. Bath is a compact city so everywhere is just a short stroll.

SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION: 6 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms

All the beds have pocket-sprung mattresses and are made with crisp super-soft Egyptian cotton bed linen for a great night's sleep.

To maximize the flexibility of sleeping arrangements, single beds can be joined into super-king and comfortable futon beds can be provided.

2nd Bedroom: Two single beds & a futon -sleeps 3

Next to the living room is the light Kitchen with a large dining table and an additional table and chairs 16 guests can dine.

In 2022, the Abbey Green was used for the filming of Bridgerton

Family trip

We had a delightful stay in Bath at the beautiful property. Grandparents, siblings, and kids all were happy and well taken care of. The weather was unseasonably hot, but Paul helped us out with extra fans to stay cool. The location couldn’t have been better. Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect location!

We had 11 in our group and this amazing home was perfect for us! Easy walk from the train station and walkable to all of the Bath hotspots! The home is lovingly cared for and easily accommodated our large group.

Wonderful location

So convenient to everything we wanted to visit in Bath. Loved that we were able to take such a short walk to all the attractions. Also very accommodating to our large group. Plenty of sleeping arrangements with a large comfortable living room to hang out in. We would readily stay there again

Absolutely Perfect location!

Unique property literally steps from Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. Even though the weather was less than perfect we throughly enjoyed our brief stay. Paul was very helpful throughout the check in/checkout process. Highly recommend for families

Awesome house and location is just perfect! Paul is great to work with and very helpful.... one of our party discovered, when we got back to London, he had left his Passport at the house! No problem, Paul located it and arranged for overnight delivery to the Hotel! 10 out of 10 for his attention to detail and nothing was too much bother for him to arrange. GREAT place and Awesome Host!!!!

Great location, great property, and great host!

I cannot over-emphasize what a fantastic location Mignon House is. Right in the middle of everything (which yes, does mean there's some late-night noise and revelers return home from the pubs), but it's only a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, the Roman baths, the river, etc. My family had a wonderful visit and Paul's communication about logistics was exceptional. We could not have asked for a better experience!

February (Half Term) Bath

The weather was not particularly kind to us during our stay so the property's great location helped enormously in keeping us dry (being literally metres from the Roman Baths, the Abbey and Heritage Centre). With five adults and two teenagers the property's size accommodated us all easily. Paul was very welcoming and despite the weather we all enjoyed our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful townhouse located in the picturesque Abbey Green — truly one of the most charming and historic spots in Bath. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the character of the home and its unbeatable location.The townhouse is tastefully decorated. Everything was spotless on arrival, and thoughtful touches — like plush linens, a well-equipped kitchen, and bottle of Prosecco— made us feel instantly at home.What really sets this place apart is the location. Tucked away on a peaceful, cobbled square just steps from Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, and the bustling city centre, it was the perfect base for exploring. We could pop out for morning coffee or an evening stroll with ease — yet the house itself was quiet and restful except for the birds but that’s just Bath (seagulls and pigeons are everywhere). I highly recommend this charming rental in beautiful Bath!

Superb location for visiting Bath

We are a group of six female school friends and we had a wonderful reunion weekend in Bath, staying at this beautiful old house in a picturesque square, seconds from the stunning Abbey plus a wide variety of cafes, shops, restaurants and bars. The house was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable, but it is old (and beautiful) and in some need of modernising - the bathrooms in particular are a tired and we struggled a bit with the hot water. The weather was exceptionally cold and the heating was also a challenge, but Paul was helpful and did all he could. A superbly located property in this stunning spa town.

Non responsive host

The stay would have been enjoyable had the host answered one of my 3+ attempts to contact them. When we were told there would be a travel cot for my infant niece we were expecting it to be functioning, not broken as it was. If there was an emergency good luck contacting the host, they were unresponsive the entire trip which is a risk I wouldnt recommend anyone to take.

Such a fantastic property, with great communication from the host. Our stay was too short(but very sweet!) Wish we had booked for another night. Absolutely loved the history of the property. The position in town is perfect reach to everything. It suited our group of 9 perfectly. Don’t overlook this property if it fits your needs!

Very pleasant stay in Mignon House

We enjoyed a lovely few days in Mignon House in November. the location is excellent, right on a lovely square, just around the corner from the Abbey. The house was very comfortable, the beds remarkably so. Would highly recommend.

Great location

A great, central location in pretty surroundings - close to most things in the city. Property owner was very clear in communicating and very welcoming. Beds very comfortable - although do note that if 14 people are staying some of the beds are futons (we were 8 people). Sofa in lounge only comfortably seats 6 and not sure that 14 people could get around the kitchen table. Overall, enjoyed our time there and would consider returning.

Amazing location

Paul was a great host, with clear communication and he was very friendly and helpful when we had contact with him. The location is amazing, so central you’re within a short walk of all the sights. The accommodation is comfortable, especially the beds and lovely bedding. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Paul!

This is just the perfect property to visit Bath. The running joke was every location we searched was on 0.2-0.3 miles away. Great holiday and we are looking forward to returning.
