Wonderful place!

Priano is a lovely, quaint and quiet village. It does not have the hustle and bustle of Positano or Amalfi town which we loved. This place is centrally located, but it is about a 200 yd. walk from the nearest parking spot and 33 steps down to the apartment. The pictures don't do it justice. there is a large roomy bedroom with plenty of storage and a nice bathroom that includes a holiday size washing machine. The kitchenette the basics including a full size refrigerator. There is an outdoor patio that is great for just sitting and enjoying the magnificent views. There is a lemon tree with HUGE fruit.It is a strenuous walk to the Marina where you can catch water taxis to nearby towns. We ate at nearby restaurant LaMoressa twice which was excellent and had amazing views of the coast. There are 2 grocery stores within walking distance for basic food needs and wine.There are lots and lots of steps, and we learned the hard way that they don't all end up at the same place. Look for steps that are sign posted Via S. Giovanni, as those are the ones that go up or down to the street where the apartment is located.The apartment was very clean, the property manager was helpful, everyone speaks english and we would highly recommend this place!

Best Terrace!!!

Amazing stay! Great communication with check-in and getting walked to the Villa itself! With being in Praiano that was a huge help as it can be a lot with arriving and all the steps. The Villa was nice with multiple A/C units and felt cool the whole time here, room was huge, bathroom was perfect and kitchen had everything we needed. The outside terrace was incredible! Tanning chairs, lounge chairs, couch and table. Good location close to everything! 10/10

Praiano

Praiano was the perfect town to stay in if you enjoy a quieter experience. Positano and Amalfi are 15 minutes away by car in each direction. We loved this property and the view of the sea from the large patio was such a bonus. Plenty of restaurants and bars within minutes of walking. Clean, and stocked with all we needed to cook meals etc.The bedroom is large with giant doors to another little patio. We will definitely miss our time in Praiano, it was amazing.

Warm and Peaceful Amalfi Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed the garden space, taking in the scenery from morning until night -- the endless blue water with boats floating by as we sit amongst the lemon trees. Francesca was attentive and helpful as we made plans, and Luca was warm and welcoming in greeting us upon arrival. Check-in/check-out was easy and efficient. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful 5 nights in Praiano!

Property exactly as advertized. Wonderful location with easy access by bus to Positano, Amalfi and Ravella. Lucca was extremely helpful with check in and advice on restaurants and travelling between towns. He arranged a boat trip for us to Capri, which was awesome. We had a perfect stay.

This property was in a great location in the town of Praiano.

Lovely views over looking the Mediterranean! Very clean with comfortable bed. Luca who owns the little cafe serving coffees and fresh pastries every morning (also overlooking the Med) is the property manager who let us in and was very helpful explaining the bus system as well as arranged a great semi private boat tour to Capri. A must see. The bus stop for citi bus that goes between Amalfi and Positano , Ravello (must visit) is 112 steps down to main road. Take the bus, you don’t want to drive this yourself. Didn’t really use the kitchen but looked fine for making breakfast or lunch. Bathroom with shower and Wash-machine for laundry was very clean and nice size. Nice very private sitting area on the patio with great views of Med. Were not really home enough to enjoy it as we packed so much into our 3 night stay. Highly recommend this place.

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Wohnung geräumig, sehr sauber ,und es war alles enthalten was man braucht Die Terrasse ist natürlich ein richtiger Traum. Groß, tolle Möbel, der Zitronenbaum und der wunderschöne Blick zum Meer. Dort konnte man sich nur wohlfühlen. Die Kommunikation mit Francesca war auch echt super. Auf jede Frage habe ich sofort eine Antwort bekommen, und Sie hat uns sehr geholfen um perfekte Urlaubstage zu haben. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Diese Ferienwohnung kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Fantastic!

Old Rocco Palace was as wonderful as the pictures. We had 5 lovely nights in the Red Moon Villa. The terrace was unbelievable - huge, sun or shade, loungers & chairs. Plenty of room and fantastic views. The location was perfect - we preferred this side of Praiano to the other side. Beach, restaurants, buses & small grocery store all within walking distance. Best part of Praiano was Luca. He helped us with parking, booking a boat tour, booking a private zodiac, restaurant reservations. He was attentive & polite & always available.Luca for Mayor became our family motto. If we ever return to Praiano we will stay at the Rocco Palace again.

A secret wonder of reall beauty and joy in living in Praiano.

Setting was as promised.. rather magical . We had a hard time leaving the apartment. One must be patient to arrive because it isn’t easy at first to understand where we are going , but once you arrive everything falls into place . Luca was so helpful with any question. Thank you. One of the highlights of our trip to Amalfi Coast.

Beautiful villa, gorgeous views and nice location near fantastic restaurants, grocery, etc.

My family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) stayed for a few days in mid March. The pre-trip communication from Franchesca was nice and informative. Luca met us and took us to the villa. Very simple and clear instructions for the use of the villa. Unfortunately for us, Italy was experiencing some unusually cold weather, so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful patio. The kitchen and bathroom were small, but that's pretty ordinary for European rentals. They also could have used a couple more blankets for the extra bed. On our next trip to the Amalfi coast, we'll probably stay here again. It was just as advertised.

Great relaxing stay with fab views

My husband and I had a great 4 days relaxing after a busy stay in Venice and Rome. We used the recommended taxi service and did a visit to Pompeii on our way from Naples to Praiano - well worth it. Even though it was late Winter - there was plenty to do and the views along the Amalfi Coast were just amazing. Would love to visit in warmer weather. This is an area that has lots of stairs and hills - so be mindful of this when visiting. Old Rocco Palace was easily accessible and Luca was on hand to assist with luggage. Would definitely return.

Amazing villa

Thank you Luca, we had a beautiful stay. The house is exactly as represented. We had the luxury of staying 9 nights. The transportation is very easy. It was great to come home to a beautiful retreat. The Master bedroom is painted the most serene blue with sheer blue drapes that just flow in the beautiful breeze from the sea. Simply stunning. The host was very attentive and we had no problems, check in was a breeze. Thank you again, hope to see this beautiful city again.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit wunderschöner Terrasse

Wir waren Ende August - Anfang September in der Wohnung "Red Moon in Love" und es war wirklich toll. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben und wie auf den Fotos - eigentlich noch schöner! Das Sofabett im Wohnzimmer fanden unsere Kinder sehr bequem, das blaue Schlafzimmer ist eine Wucht - wahnsinnig hohe Decken, gut funktionierende Aircon- und vom Bett aus sieht man das Meer. Wir haben viel Zeit auf der großen Terrasse mit den vielen bequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten und einem umwerfenden Blick verbracht. Dort kann man es zu jeder Tageszeit gut aushalten, es gibt auch genügend Schattenplätze, im August nicht ganz unwichtig (Mückenmittel gibt´s im Supermarkt). Der von Francesca vermittelte Fahrservice vom Flughafen Neapel und zurück ist sehr gut. Absolut pünktlich, nett, großer Van und gute Fahrer! Wir sind mit dem Sita-Bus nach Salerno gefahren und haben dort ein kleines Auto gemietet. Paestum, Ravello und Pompeji fanden wir so angenehmer zu erreichen. Für Pompeji kann ich die Führungen von Veronica Maresca wärmstens ans Herz legen. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen, es ist nicht weit zu einem kleinen Supermarkt, tolle Lokale sind fußläufig erreichbar, genau wie der Strand. Die Bushaltestellen für den Lokalbus und den Sitabus sind ebenfalls nah, - es gibt überall Treppen, aber das ist nun mal so an der Amalfiküste - und man gewöhnt sich daran. Francesca managt die Wohnung wirklich hervorragend, Fragen werden sehr schnell beantwortet und sie ist ausgesprochen flexibel und hilfsbereit - vielen Dank nochmal! Ich hoffe, wir können irgendwann einmal wieder in diese wirklich tolle Wohnung kommen und wünschen allen eine schöne Zeit dort!

Perfect stay

We stayed at Francesca's Palace Rocco "Red Moon in Love" and are very pleased with our experience. Red Moon in Love is down a beautiful flight of stairs, so inviting, leading to a very large and quite private patio. There are plenty of loungers and a table outside for dining and barbecue grill, but most important a fantastic view. The house was sparsely decorated, no clutter, and the most immaculately clean rentals we have ever stayed in. Each room has a gorgeous view. The living room and bedroom have small balconies and you can open the doors for the most amazing breeze and views. It really is breathtaking. We like to cook in a lot and the kitchen had the very bare basics and was sufficient and also with a beautiful view and windows that open to let in the sea breeze while you are cooking . There are no beach towels so you must use the bath towels and recycle the towels often. There is a washing machine, so we washed our towels every day after the beach and hung them to dry outside on the handy drying rack and this system worked very well for us. The air-conditioning system works very well, there's plenty of storage for our things, and we found the firm bed to be quite comfortable. We think the stay was topped off by the fantastic experience with Francesca and her team. They were very responsive, welcoming, and very lovely. We would definitely visit Palace Rocco without hesitation. Praiano is a stunning town with some of the nicest locals we have ever visited with. We are very pleased we chose to stay here and at Francesca's. **One more note, you absolutely must wear bug spray when using the patio after about 5pm. They didn't seem to bother my husband much but I always attract mosquitoes!

Palace Rococo is the perfect place to stay to experience the magic of the Amalfi coast!

Francesca and Guilia will do everything in their power to make sure that your trip to the Amalfi coast is your best vacation yet! The rooms at the Red Moon in Love , Palace Rococo are immaculate, well stocked and as lovely as the photos show. The breathtaking view is impossible to describe from your spacious little garden, complete with flowers and lemon trees! Delightful! Pack light for the steps and steep hills which are part of the daily life of the coast! We loved being in Praiano as opposed to her hectic neighbor Positano. Perfect location to explore the entire coast without the frantic energy of more touristy spots. We rented a scooter and drove everywhere no problem once we learned to navigate between the busses and the twisting very narrow roads. Be sure to make a reservation for the restaurant Frattoria Latagliata which lies not in the busy center but past the main part of Positano high up the mountain road in an area of Positano called Montepertuso. We ate above the clouds with a stunning view of the coastline. The best food of the trip. Family run with no menu just one price (40 euros each)for a bottle of wine and 5 HUGE courses of whatever Mama is cooking that day. You will be amazed and stuffed! Stop at Praia di Marina for a beach day. 22 euros will get you 2 sunchairs and an umbrella for the day. Add parking if you drive there. Worth every penny for this experience like Santorini meets the Grand Canyon! This was truly a dream spot too beautiful for words. It must be experienced! Thank you Francesca! Breathtaking

We could not ask for more. Clean and functional apartment with a wonderful terrace and garden, shaded from the heat of the day. I cooked several nights, perhaps an extra salad bowl and tongs would be great and a platter for meats and cheeses would be handy. These are just minor thoughts. Our son loved that he had his own comfortable sofa bed and slept soundly. Views - sunrises and watching the boats and the unbelievable moonlight reflection at night. Great supermarket 'Tutto per tutti' in next higher street. Fabulous produce, so fresh fresh daily and lovely people. Nonno next door even offered his first of his new season plums to us through the railings. Restaurants are very good and well priced in Praiano. Beach club at La Praia great. Transport easy - orange bus praiano to positano loop, blue bus internal praiano. Sita bus stairs down to the main coast Road (tickets from nice people at tabacci. I think we walked 40km in 5 days, up and down stairs and over the cliffs - we are fit but be prepared for the burn. We would walk forever just to come back to Praiano and to stay here with Francesca's help and Luca's kindness - you will have the best time here! Praiano is a relaxed and quieter choice than the hectic pace of positano, more authentic. We will be back for several weeks this time. Ciao ciao

Perfect place for an amazing romantic holiday!

Villa Red Moon in Love is a perfect place for a relaxant, wonderful holiday next to the beauty of the sea. The colors of the Sky viewed from the amazing terrace take your breath away! Our stay at Palace Rocco was perfect!

From our first contact with Francesca our experience was great. She was quick to respond, answered all our questions & helped with a car to Naples at the end of our trip. Luca was wonderful! He met us to show us around, suggested places to visit & made dinner reservations for us at El Pino. Don't miss El Pino, fabulous dinner, service & food. Luca also set us up with a full day trip to Capri. We were picked up at the piazza, taken right to our beautiful 12 guest boat, & delivered back home at sunset. It was an amazing day on the water where our skipper showed us many special spots around Capri. The apartment was lovely, very clean with wonderful bedding & everything you need for your stay. They even left us some goodies to get started including a bottle of proseco. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Wonderful place & great people.

Villa Red Moon In Love was perfect for us

Villa Red Moon in Love was just what we wanted as was Praiano itself. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. We took the train from Rome to Naples where we hired a taxi, arranged by Francesca, to take us to Praiano. We were met by Luca at the town center and he guided us to the villa. There is easy access to the apartment from the town center, where you will find a local bus stop as well as a mini-mart that carried everything we needed. The garden patio is full of flowers, lemon trees and gorgeous views of the sea. Located between Positano and Amalfi, Praiano village has all the beauty of the coast without all of the tourists. Just down the steps from the villa is the shop of Ceramica Lizart (beautiful pieces) and down more steps to the harbor and restaurants. We loved Costa Diva restaurant, fresh fish and stunning views. Be aware: you are on the Amalfi coast so, there are many steps to Praia beach and some restaurants. The Villa Red Moon was exactly what we wanted and needed after a busy visit to Rome. All of the people we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We did not really have enough time to do everything we wanted, but managed a boat excursion from Praia beach to Capri and we hiked the Path of the Gods from Bomerano to Positano. We highly recommend both! It was hard to pack up and leave to come back home. We loved it! Enjoy!

Schöne Tage in Praiano

Wir haben uns die 2 Wochen in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist modern eingerichtet, sauber und die Klimaanlagen in Wohn- und Schlafzimmer sind ideal. Super schön ist auch die große Terrasse mit Meerblick, Gasgrill, Liegestühlen, Esstisch, Lounge, schön bepflanzt...., hier kann man es sich gut gehen lassen und entspannen. Kleine Läden mit Lebensmitteln und anderen Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs sind nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Praiano ist touristisch noch nicht überlaufen, ruhiger und die Menschen sind sehr freundlich. Man läuft häufig auf kleinen Wegen zwischen den Häusern und Treppen gibt es genügend. Für uns war das kein Problem. Für Touristen mit Gehbehinderung wäre das sicherlich anstrengend. An der Amalfiküste ist das Fahren mit dem Auto manchmal eine kleine Herausforderung. Parkplätze sind in den Küstenorten begrenzt. Wir haben unser Auto, mit Hilfe von Luca, in der Nähe der Wohnung geparkt. Ich bin jetzt noch erstaunt, wie schnell er das Auto in die kleine Parklücke manövriert hat! Luca, unser Ansprechpartner vor Ort, war sehr hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Wir waren dann häufig mit dem Sita Bus unterwegs und haben uns Positano, Amalfi, Sorrent, Ravello, Neapel, Pompei und den Vesuv angesehen. Der Bus ist zwar häufig bis zum letzten Platz besetzt, aber für uns war es eine gute Alternative, da die Tickets auch recht günstig sind. Der Bootsausflug nach Capri war toll und die Wanderungen, auch auf dem Sentiero degli dei und Valle delle ferriere, waren einmalig. Auf der Terrasse eines Cafe`s zu sitzen und das manövrieren der vorbeifahrenden Busse, Autos, Roller und dazwischen die Fußgänger zu beobachten, war schon recht amüsant. Sehr temperamentvoll die Leute im Straßenverkehr! Wir finden die Amalfiküste sehr schön und können die Wohnung absolut weiterempfehlen.
