We stayed 8 days

We stayed 8 days. Absolutely spectacular. Adriana and her daughter Michela [the owners] were terrific hosts. We were surprised by special treats… beautiful apple cake and limoncello. Will never forget views of the coast from the villa. Sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous. We were very pleased with SummerInItaly. My questions were answered very quickly.

It was amazing

It was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! The stairs are steep but makes eating all the fabulous food guilt free! Adriana, the caretaker was fantastic! We could not have felt more at home and welcome! It was a great experience!

Beautiful view and lovely location… Only ~90 steps up from the street. Restaurants, small grocery store and corner bar close by. Wonderful hostess who spoke little English, but was wonderful with her phone translator! Great experience!

Excellent apartment with a lovely view of the sea

Excellent apartment with a lovely view of the sea. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace both mornings and evenings where we could follow the activities in the sea and watch the stars on the heaven at night. It was just so good as it could be and the owner was so friendly and we want to thank her especially for the gifts coming down from above! Summer In Italy were very helpful. In addition, they have a nice selection of holiday homes and are always there on the chat to help out.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights here and we could not recommend it more. Our host, Adriana, and her family, were the most incredible people. The apartment was clean and honestly bigger than expected, the lemon tree on the front patio was beautiful and great for pictures. The view of Positano and the sea was breathtaking, especially at night time. We were given great advice on local spots, and treated like family with a warm welcome. Adriana lent us bus tickets and even made us a delicious dessert one night and brought it to us as she lives nearby. The AC was a huge plus as the Amalfi coast is hot at all times. I could not recommend staying here more. This was the best experience we’ve had with a host. Thank you Adriana!

Beautiful, relaxing villa with a stunning view!

The apartment was perfect, away from the crowds of Positano and Amalfi. Praiano has wonderful restaurants, no need to go into the main towns. The beaches were good too. Easy access to Path of the lemons in Maiori. We took the ferry from Marina da Praia to Amalfi, Atrani and Maiori. As long as you can climb steps and don’t mind walking, this is the perfect location to see the Amalfi coast!

Gorgeous Property

We have just returned from a wonderful 8 night stay at Villa Gisella B. The photos of the apartment are very accurate, and we were delighted with the cleanliness, space, facilities. It is a very well thought out apartment with loads of storage, very well equipped kitchen (though must confess that we only used the microwave and made coffee a couple of times). The views from the living room, bedroom, and patio are stunning. Mrs. Adriana was lovely to deal with - despite a language barrier, we were able to make ourselves understood. She was kind enough one night to bring us a piece of cake that she had made that day - delicious! As other reviews have stated, the clever system for transporting one's luggage up and down was brilliant. The apartment is well located in the town, and it was nice to be able to walk to different restaurants. Although we had a rental car, it remained parked for the duration and we took the local bus to Positano as finding parking and the exorbitant prices to do so is a headache. Highly recommend!

My husband and I loved staying at Villa Gisella B. Both the apartment and the views are even better than the photos describe them. The location is excellent for exploring other towns on the Amalfi Coast. The town of Praiano is beautiful, much less crowded than other places, and has great restaurants. We also appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher. The two outside sitting areas were fabulous with amazing views! We enjoyed meeting Mrs. Adriana and her daughter, who were both very friendly and helpful. Everything was great! This was the first time using Summer In Italy for booking a rental. I had no issues and would book another property through Summer In Italy again. Although we didn't require any assistance before or during our stay, I felt that help was available if needed.

Tranquil and lovely apartment

Perfectly located for exciting day trips but outside the touristy areas… Adriana was very accommodating and understanding to changes in our travel plans outside our control- and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and oriented to her beautiful town. The apartment was perfect in every way- clean, comfortable and well equipped. We could have spent our entire week just sitting on the balcony soaking in the sun and the stunning view. Thank you for a magical vacation!!

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful property. It was comfortable, charming and had incredible views of the coast. The town of Praiano is super cute and the property is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and an easy drive to the other towns located along the coast. The air conditioning worked great and the bed was super comfortable. The home was well stocked with everything we needed, the attention to detail in the house was very impressive. We really enjoyed meeting the owner and her daughter who were both very kind, they were able to communicate everything we needed to know and even helped us figure out the water taxi. 5 star reviews all around!

Wow, this place was fantastic!

What a view from the balcony! This unit was absolutely perfect. Every aspect of this unit was 1st class. The property manager/owner was very helpful. She welcomed us to the unit, showed us how everything works. The welcoming bottle of wine, fresh fruit and snacks were much appreciated. We would highly recommend this unit for your stay on the Amalfi Coast. Ciao.

A perfect stay on the Amalfi Coast

My husband and I loved the villa. The views were incredible, the beach down the cliff was excellent (stop at Mirante on your walk down or up for the best cocktails of your life). The full kitchen was great and the bed was quite comfortable. Praiano was the perfect place to have as a home base, good restaurants, easy access to buses and taxis but away from the craziness of Amalfi and Positano. Your buns will get a good workout from the stairs. 10/10 would stay again.

Wonderful wonderful property

Wonderful wonderful property. The location and terrace are just stunning but the inside of the villa is also fab. The little touches - everything that you need - such thoughtful touches. We just could not believe our luck that we found such a fantastic villa on the Amalfi Coast! Despite the truly dreadful weather we had a great 4 days - just to sit and look at the coast line and the lights of Positano as the sun goes down - and what sunsets! Just amazing. Thank you. Adriana [the owner] is so welcoming and the trolley to take your luggage from the car parking area to the villa is great! Perfect In Every Way

Our stay at the villa was wonderful! Everything needed was available and the villa was immaculate. Sitting out on the terrace with the gorgeous view and having the scent of lemon blossoms in the air from our nearby patio was our daily highlight! The town of Praiano was a perfect location for us. Much less crowded and people there so friendly. We would definitely love to return and stay again at Adriana’s villa.

Perfection!!!

Gisella Villa B was nothing short of perfection!!! Very clean, beautifully appointed, comfy bed, sweeping views of the Mediterranean and all the comforts of home. The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us with a delicious pear cake! We hope to one day come back!!! The 90 steps to the top really aren’t bad. There are many opportunities to stop for a moment and catch your breath all while enjoying the view!!! No problem! The porch under the lemon trees, the veranda from both the bedroom and living room was so inviting. We spent most of our afternoons relaxing, reading and enjoying the views. The restaurant right next door, La Strada ended up being our favorite place to eat. There is a small grocery store and pharmacy just a little further down the street. We walked to Bar de Sole every morning for a cappuccino and croissant. This really is such a special place!!!!

A beautiful apartment with fantastic view from the terrace to the sea or Positano. The apartment is very well equipped as well as the kitchen. There was a parking space for our car and an elevator for the luggage. Adriana is a great hostess and spoiled us with a fruit bowl, own jam and cake. I highly recommend this apartment. Very good service from Luca and his team.
