We were very appreciative that the owners allowed our daughter to stay at the last minute without charging us, so we bought a blow-up bed. However, many things about this apartment need attention. The bed is hard, so be prepared if you are a side sleeper. There was a piece of broken glass in the bathroom that our daughter stepped on. The bathroom smells musty, as there are no windows, and after one (not messy) shower, the floor never dried the entire 3 days we were there. The kitchen table has been varnished I think and everything sticks to it. Be careful lifting a hot coffee. Generally I would just say that it seems a bit sad that for the price there could have been a bit more attention to things. If you are going to run a place like this (and we have for many years) go a little further...flowers on the table? A welcome card? Maybe some bottled water or something...We had 2 un-matched towels for 3 nights..no hand towel or wash cloth. Like another reviewer said: Communication was poor, messages went unanswered for days and I was unable to communicate with hosts by using the app. I believe that was a Vrbo issue, not the hosts' fault. A few things like " a better supply of towels (nicer towels) and a small jug of milk in the fridge would have been appreciated. The property needs some maintenance (toilet seat repaired, light bulbs replaced) and an instruction/guide book. We did not know how to operate heat & television but figured it out."
