Ideal holiday let with very convenient bus links. The city center being approximate 20 minute journey from nearby choice of bus stops. Nearby shops and amenities in a picturesque area. On street parking, local churches and close by to historical Stockbridge is a mere 20 minute walk through Inverleith Park across from the Botanic Gardens. Lots of restaurants and pubs Dby at the Harbor Village of Newhaven which is also close by to Royal Yacht Britannia. Facilities include, cooker, toaster and microwave in a fully functioning kitchen which includes a washing machine and fridge freezer. The living room furniture comprises a sofa and a futon. There is gardenn furniture and deck chairs also for use in the back garden. Prices are notable for longer stays

Wir waren nicht zufrieden, die Gastgeber waren nicht zu erreichen, die Dusche konnten wir nicht in Gang bringen und das WLAN nicht finden. Die Unterkunft war nicht durchgängig sauber.

Porzione di casa al piano terreno si trova nella zona più periferica di Edimburgo, per raggiungere il centro bisogna prendere l’autobus, le fermate sono abbastanza vicine, la zona è piuttosto residenziale e non ci sono numerosi bar, ristoranti o supermercati. L’accesso all’appartamento è stato semplice, la casa nel suo interno ha due camere un piccolo bagno un salotto ed una cucina ed è complessivamente ben dotata di tutti gli accessori pur essendo un po’ datata.

The property wasn’t clean , kitchen was cluttered fridge had a mouldy lemon in it , decoration ladder next to cooker paint tins cardboard in kitchen laundry basket had dirty trainers in it bathroom had mould on shower screen, I had to stay the first night as no where else to go but left at 6.30 the following morning would definitely not recommend and I wonder why it’s allowed to be on the website

Disappointing !!!

Nous avons été très très déçu par l’état général de la maison. Le ménage est le gros point faible de cette location : moquette sale, des mégots de cigarette sous les coussins de canapé, vaisselles sales, et très insuffisantes pour 5. La cuisine est vraiment horrible : ne pas ouvrir les tiroirs, vaisselles sales, 3 chaises seulement… Bref, on se demande comment Abritel peut avoir ce genre de locations dans son catalogue. A éviter.

Anne was brilliant

I didn't realise I booked the holiday property for next year until Anne spotted it. She was kind and able to adjust the dates and accommodate us. So kind of her. We found the property alright, served our purpose to crash in at night and get going in the morning.

Dreadful- it needs to be taken off VRBO

Same experience as the above reviews. If it wasn’t that our son was in Edinburgh fringe we would never have endured the smell and dirt, there was no alternative available. After complaining we did appreciate getting a partial refund from the host. The money that was not returned was VRBO’s portion and I plan to argue for that too. They are responsible for checking properties so they should refund their portion too and take down this terrible property that no one should have to stay in. To be honest it felt like a mortuary - newspaper clipping yellowing and curling at the edges on the fridge, makes me wonder if someone died and they just decided to rent it as it was left- awful!

This was the worst property I have ever booked on Expedia. Not sure how it is considered liveable at all. Visible mold everywhere especially along the carpets and the shower. The smell was abhorrent and we could not get rid of it despite having all the windows open, air freshner and freebreeze. Tried to contact the host *multiple* times through the email link provided by expedia to no response at all. There were not enough blankets or towels for four adults. There was garbage everywhere and dirty robes hanging in rooms and the bathroom. There were multiple bottles of basically empty soap but no shampoo or conditioner. The fridge drawers were disgusting but nothing compared to the condition of the microwave, we could not bring ourselves to even use it. The dirt and grime in the house almost made us want to charge back the room and find a hotel at double the price. The random articles of garbage was so surprising, I have never experienced that in a rental property. The stove worked well and the location was fine. The towels provided were not enough for everyone and were basically face cloth size. The bedrooms smelled so badly that someone had to sleep on the couch instead of the bedroom. The bed itself was almost like sleeping on a spring without any cushion at all. Please think twice before booking this property, the park next door would be more comfortable and likely have a better chance at getting a response from the owner.

It was disgusting. There was mold in the carpet, dirt and dust and crass in every room corner, a smell of rot everywhere, humidity in the air... without mentioning the little surprises like the used q-tips on the fireplace, the yellowish bathrobe hanged on a rusty nail in the bathroom, the single sock in our bedding... I haven't received a single message of the owner. I asked for a refund. It wasn't sanitary.
