Situated at Coldingham Sands, one of the UK's best and most stunning surf beaches, The Gegan provides luxury accommodation right by the beach. 

The three bedroom, two bathroom detached house offers true luxury beach accommodation for up to 6 people. 

Wake up to watch the sun rise over the north sea or cosy up in the comfortable lounge with views out to sea.  

Recently refurbished to a very high standard with two luxury bathrooms and a brand new kitchen filled with everything you might need from a coffee machine to a smoothie maker.

Three bedrooms give way to 2 luxurious large king size bedrooms with sea views and a smaller twin room to the back of the property with two full size single beds.

Egyptian cotton bedding and thick fluffy towels add to The Gegan's sense of luxury

Fantastic location

Second time staying at The Gegan. This is a perfect property for a week away. The house is well maintained and has all of the facilities needed for a relaxing visit - both inside, and in the garden and outdoor seating area.

Perfect Beach Break!

The house was excellent, furnished and decorated to a very high standard, spacious and in a fabulous location just 2 mins walk to the beach and surrounding cliff walks. Would highly recommend a stay.

Wonderful location

Spotlessly clean and fantastic location a few minutes walk from the beach. Train to Edinburgh only a short drive away. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Getaway

The Gegan is a lovely property in a lovely location and has everything you need for the perfect getaway. The house is well equipped, lovely and clean and is just a short walk away from the beach. Nearby there are lots of little coastal villages and towns to explore and it was ideal for our family break. We would definitely recommend it.

Very comfortable house with perfect location to a gorgeous beach, well equipped with a nice touch of extra beach toys and chairs. Weather was superb. Comfy beds. We needed a lesson from the grown up daughters to work the hob but that was soon mastered. Lovely evening walks to St Abbs.

November 3 night stay

Beautiful and well appointed cottage, 2 mins walk from the beach, which is just lovely. Peaceful location for a very relaxed few days - just what we wanted. Would be great in the summer when more visitor attractions are open. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful house overlooking the beach

A gorgeous and very comfortable house for me and my family( me, husband, 2.5 yr old and 5 month old). Great location for the beach and 20 min walk to St. Abbs. Lovely beds, very comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped. It was so great to have loads of dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods and coffee pods!! Thank you!

Perfect week long break

The location of the property is stunning - a minute's walk from a quiet bay and with details of coastal paths and other circular walks provided by the owner. 15 minutes walk to Coldingham itself where there's a Spar for basics, an excellent butchers, and a couple of pubs. The house has great views from the front down to the sea and plenty of room for eating and socialising in a back garden with facilities that would be perfect for the summer time. Indoors the property is well designed and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A lovely kitchen diner space and well equipped kitchen made eating in enjoyable. And upstairs the bedrooms are spacious, stylish and provided a perfect night's sleep. Would love to stay in the area again, and highly recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect location for a peaceful week.

A beautiful house right on the coast

The Gegan is a beautiful and very comfortable house appointed with everything you could possibly wish for. A five minute walk takes you to a lovely beach and there are stunning coastal walks to St Abbs and Eyemouth. We really enjoyed our stay - hopefully the first of many!

Peaceful sea view home

This is a beautiful home with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. There is a sea view from all rooms except the twin room at the back of the house. The beach is a two min walk away. The beach is beautiful and was very peaceful during my stay. There are coastal walks and beautiful little villages to visit. If you are looking for a peaceful escape I would recommend this property.

Relaxing time so close to the beach

Really great to be within yards of the beach Most people came for the day so the beach in the evening was often deserted Lots of great walks nearby and easy for day trips to Edinburgh and many nearby Borders towns
