An ideal base for a family or group of friends to enjoy the plethora of activities the surrounding area has to offer.. Ground Floor:

Living room: 43" Freeview TV, Netflix, Soundbar, DVD Player, Woodburner

Kitchen/dining room: Breakfast Area, Electric Range, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Coffee Machine, Washing Machine

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Sleigh Kingsize (5ft) Bed

Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, 43" Freeview TV, Amazon Firestick, Netflix

Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Roll Top Bath, Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack.. Large enclosed walled garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps to the upper garden area.. Heron House, a great three bedroom family house is located here in Berwick upon Tweed, just yards from the River Tweed. The local beaches in both Berwick and nearby Spittal are some of the best in the area, and the property enjoys a convenient location for accessing the facilities within Berwick town centre, in addition to the attractions up and down the Northumberland and Berwickshire coast.

The property provides accommodation over two floors. On the ground level there is a comfortable living room with wood burner and a generous dining room and kitchen. Refitted in 2020 to high modern standards the kitchen provides everything needed to base yourself as a family or group in Heron House. The dining area is spacious and comfortable, ideal for a family. On the upper floor you will find all three bedrooms. Sleeping six comfortably, the bedrooms vary in size slightly although all are well proportioned and the master bedroom enjoys a stunning sea view. The bathroom completes the accommodation with a four piece suite including an elevated double shower.

The property is exceptionally well located to enjoy the surrounding facilities throughout Northumbria and South Scotland. Berwick Rail Station and the A1 are both easily accessible and are within 2 miles of the property. Beach 400 yards. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1 mile.

Clean and Convenient

We sure did enjoy our stay in this lovely place. Within walking distance of the town and local grocery stores, the home felt quiet and safe. The host gave us loads of local information to make the most of our stay, including our visit to town and the Holy Island. I'd love to come back in the summer!

Beautiful home on the waterfront.

Beautiful home on the waterfront. Walking distance to M&S/ASDA and the train station. On the Coastal Path for a run or walk of a distance of your choosing. We stayed at the start of December, and the decorations were great (and also optional). Kitchen well stocked with trays & pans for home cooking. Easy communication with the owner. No complaints!
