Built right in front of the sandy beach of Episkopi (15 minutes from Rethymno) Kyma Apartment offers a newly-built, luxurious accommodation for up to 3 people. The apartment is equipped with the latest technology appliances, COCO-MAT mattresses and the elegantly decorated rooms to guarantee a memorable, relaxed stay. The endless sandy beach and the Kyma restaurant are only a footstep away! In addition, the location just next to the highway can secure easy access to airports and the whole island.

Kyma apartment is an elegantly decorated space which can accommodate up to 3 people having a stunning view over one of the longest sandy beache of Crete. The harmonious balance between the beauty of Crete’s natural vibrancy and the luxury of a truly personalised refuge from today’s fast-paced living, will leave you feeling relaxed and content.


The apartment offers:

- Living room and kitchen open floor plan: The living room area is perfect for you to sit and enjoy the beach view from morning till night, while enjoying the A/C and the satellite TV and Netflix service. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils you may need and the latest technology appliances (fridge, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine).

- Bedroom: Adding the perfect touch of comfort to your bed, thanks to COCO-MAT signature mattresses, your experience will be of an other level! The bedroom is air-conditioned, has a TV and offers a double bed, which can be separated to 2 single ones (upon request). The sofa of the living room space can sleep 1 more person.

- Bathroom: The perfect room to wash off after a long day at the beach, as the shower cabin features spa-like body jet panels for the ultimate relaxation.

- Balconies: The apartment has panoramic view of the beach and features 2 balconies with glass banisters, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise or sunrise of the vast Cretan sky!

- Exterior: A grass garden is all around the building, where you can relax, have your coffee and walk around, while the children can have endless fun at the playground! This space is non private, as also other visitors can use that.

The whole house will be at your disposal. There are no shared areas. The apartment is built over the Kyma restaurant and you will be able to enjoy its garden, playground, sunbeds and beach, but these will be shared areas with the visitors of the restaurant.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, Wir haben bei ihnen die Ferienwohnung in Kreta Episkopi, Kyma-seaside Appartement Res.-Nr. HA-DJV188, Unterkunft-Nr. 59992292 vom 18.09. bis 07.10.2024 gebucht. Wir waren mit der Lage, Strand, Appartement sehr zufrieden. Einigen Kleinigkeiten wären zu bemängeln und zwar im Bad die Duschtür sollte mal neu eingestellt und gründlich gereinigt werden. In der Küche könnte man noch einen kleinen Topf und ein paar kleine Schüsseln und Dosen gebrauchen, ansonsten alles ok und wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. In der Beschreibung stand dass gegenüber des Appartements eine Bushaltestelle befindet, von wo aus man alle Städte die sich in der Nähe befinden erreichen kann. Da ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen 1 Jahr kein Auto fahren kann und meine Frau im Ausland auch kein Auto fahren wollte, haben wir uns darauf verlassen dass wir mit dem Bus fahren können und kein Auto benötigen. Leider war die Bushaltestelle auf Grund einer Baustelle geschlossen und die nächste Haltestelle befand sich in 3 Kilometern Entfernung. Da wir eine Ferienwohnung gebucht hatten und deshalb auch Einkäufe für Frühstück usw. tätigen mussten, waren wir gezwungen doch ein Auto zu mieten, was uns Kosten von ca.400.-€ verursachte. Da wir nicht darüber informiert wurden dass sich in unmittelbarer Nähe unseres Appartements eine recht große Baustelle befindet, die Bushaltestelle nicht in Betrieb war und auch durch die Baustellentätigkeit oft eine Lärmbelästigung bestand, möchten wir sie um ei

We had a nice and calm stay at KYMA. It‘s close to one of the best beaches of North Crete and due to the fact, that there are no bigger hotels nearby, it was very quiet all the time. As KYMA is located very central between Rethymo & Chania, we have been able to visit some of the Highlights in Western Crete quite easily. However, the Appartement is really good equipped and the hosts are really kind and friendly people! So a perfect stay at Crete for us without any compromises.

Leider etwas enttäuschend

Die Lage direkt am Strand fanden wir klasse. Der schöne Sandstrand ist fabelhaft und das wir die Liegen kostenlos nutzen durften ist ein absolutes plus. Leider hält das Apartment nicht was es auf den Fotos verspricht. Eine ausgeharkte und total verkalkte Duschtür, schmutziges Geschirr und Töpfe haben uns den Start unseres Urlaubes nicht gerade angenehm gemacht. Es gab keinerlei Erklärungen oder Infos. Uns wurde nur der Schlüssel in die Hand gedrückt und das war es. Das angekündigte Netflix funktionierte bei uns nicht. Außerdem sollte das Apartment alle 3 Tage gereinigt werden. In den gesamten 2 Wochen hat sich bei uns leider keiner blicken lassen. Wir haben Reinigungsmittel, eine neue Pfanne und Kleiderbügel gekauft. ( Waren nur 5 vorhanden ) und erst einmal gründlich sauber gemacht. Danach fühlten wir uns etwas wohler. Die Vorspeisen in der Taverne am Haus waren sehr gut. Also für einen kleinen Snack am Mittag absolut geeignet. Die Hauptgerichte können wir nicht empfehlen. Alles in allem würden wir das Apartment nicht noch einmal buchen.

What a nice holliday. The host service was fantastic. The apartment looked nearly new. We had free sunbeds on the beach, a big adventage. The restaurant was also very good

Gute und günstige Ferienwohnung am Meer

Gute Ferienwohnung zu günstigem Pries (ca. 60,-€ /Tag). Nähe zur Hauptstraße nicht relevant (Lärm). Auch angeschlossenes Restaurant verursacht keine Probleme. Bar/Strand/Liegen konnten ohne weiteres mit genutzt werden. Gute Verbindung zu den Städten Chania oder Rethymnon.

Kyma September 2022

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung und die Lage entsprechen exakt den Angaben in der Beschreibung. Die direkte Strandlage ist super, der Strand ist sauber und ruhig. Die Nutzung derLiegen und der Schirme sind bei Bestellung eines Getränks aus der dazugehörigen Taverne kostenlos. Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße, dies macht sich am Stand nicht bemerkbar, in der Wohnung selbst ist der Verkehr bei sonstiger Ruhe hörbar, aber nicht störend. Unser Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft empfehlen wir sehr gerne weiter. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.

Nice location, good apartment

An apartment with a great sea view, everything you might need is available, free spacey parking, the road nearby and the restaurant below don't cause any trouble in terms of noise at all, the sea waves are louder :) We found the beds not very comfortable, despite good quality coconut mattresses, strange. The owner was very helpful, albeit not very communicative, which was not a problem for us. From this location it's very easy to get anywhere (Rethymno, Chania, or to the south shore of the island, e.g. Preveli beach - very much recommended). For some reason, the weather in the end of October was *much* better around Chania, so we ended up spending most of our time there.

Perfect apartments right on the beach

Wonderful apartments, restaurant, beach. The apartments are clean, new, equipped with all that you need for a long stay. With all the kitchen equipment, you can cook anything - if you want :) Once checked in, apartments greet you with fruits and raki, water in the refrigerator and frozen ice cubes in the freezer. You already feel super cared! ️You have a discount on a restaurant and bar, free sunbeds - a very nice bonus. The cuisine is delicious, large portions, the staff is nice and friendly. The owner who is often here overfulfills everything that can be imagined about the apartments. Here it is felt that love and soul are invested in the place. Therefore, I highly recommend!

Our family owes the restaurant just underneath of the apartment for many years. As we wanted to share the greek hospitablity even more, we have constracted the teo apartments just over the restaurant. We have secured our visitors an unforgetable experience which includes the direct access to Episkopi beach just a few metres walking form the apartment, while you are located very close to Rethymno city and just on the highway, so you can explore easily the whole island.
