On top of the famous Rimondi Fountain and at the heart of the Old Town’s colourful labyrinths, in the MOST vibrant square, is our Venetian mansion. Walking around, you’ll smell flowers and freshly prepared food & students/tourist filling the cafés/ bars. You are at the heart of action, there is nowhere more central and you instantly feel the oriental features of the Turkish period with Renaissance style Venetian architecture. Full of life! If it was New York, our place would be at Times Square!

What one still senses today when strolling through the enchanting labyrinth of the Old Town of Rethymno is primarily the Venetian legacy… thats the feeling our guests get when they stay to our place… thus the name “Venetian Legacy Mansion”. The history of the building dates back to the 15th century, and it was authentically restored during the 19th century. Its original owners were Venetians descended from a well-known family of musicians and it was now converted into a classy and romantic mansion. This beautiful Venetian quarter is a web of atmospherics streets that tumble onto a magnificent square.

The second bedroom is located on the attic floor above. The terrace, is the best place of the house, where we strongly recommend to have your dinner especially when sunset golden hours arrive.

Our place offers two bedrooms. The master bedroom and the attic floor bedroom. They are beautifully decorated in Venetian and luxurious textiles, wooden and iron furniture.

• Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen offers you all necessary amenities. Beautiful and traditional surfaces and counters give you this extra luxury feel and you can prepare any kind of a meal without any hassle!

• Living Room
The living room has an L sofa and a coffee table in the middle. Large windows offer a majestic view day or night. The living room has also a main dining space and direct access to the kitchen.

• Outdoors
Sitting in the roof terrace will more than definitely make you feel that you are king of Rethymno. It is ideal for complete relaxation, totally private and luxurious!

During July/August our place is ideal for people who want to enjoy and appreciate the night life of Rethymno, given you are overlooking one of most vibrant squares in the entire Old Town, with music, bars and restaurants. In other months our place is ideal for every guest, especially if you want to explore the city very early in the morning, when the light is perfect and the tranquility a sheer delight or… to be lost strolling in the illuminated alleys of the Old Town by traditional shops, bars and tavernas. One thing is sure… you will have unforgettable memories.
