The trullo is a wonderfull historic type of building, unique in Puglia in southern Italy under the protection of UNESCO as a world heritage site.

Originally, in the nineteenth century, local farmers used it as homes or as a place of storage and shelter.

They have conical-shaped roofs and thick stone walls.

Converted groups of trulli have now become an original and luxurious alternative to hotels or ordinary villas.

This property has undergone an extensive multimillion euro makeover with the main purpose of keeping the trulli main structure intact.

All of the work has been developed with careful attention to the environment, with a solar thermal implant, which heats the water for the heating system, bathrooms besides a swimming pool.

The trullo is an historical and distinctive type of building unique to Puglia and all the changes made keep into the traditional local style with a modern realisation.

Almost uniquely in architecture, the trullo represents the three most important ancient symbols: the triangle, the circle and the shaft, or axis, also used in subliminal psychology and hypnotic therapy to help restore a sense of wellbeing to the individual.

Property layout:
The main trullo with adjacent building, recently renovated, contains cool, comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a beautiful brand new full equipped kitchen with american refrigerator, 2 dishwashers, infrared oven, ice making machine, juice extractor, kitchen robot and other useful domestic appliances, dining room with space for up 14 people and a spacious living area – it has so many sofas, TVs with SKY connection and living rooms that its easy to lose count, not to mention vast spaces outside to roam through.

Then, just below the trullo building and the swimming pool is a four bedroom annex, each room with an en-suite shower and WC, all bathrooms have hairdryers, shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner created with high quality BIO product – Close enough for comfort, far enough away for a little bit of privacy and with a spectacular few of the hills.

All in all together the main trullo and annex sleep 12 people in 6 bedrooms, all with TV and with extra beds available for young children.

Most important: all rooms are air conditioned and Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Pool area:
The pool is 14x7m (depth from 1,20m to 1,80m) and with a Jacuzzi feature and the shallow end and heating available, is perfect for a relaxing swim in the tranquillity of the sloping hills of the Itrian Valley, with plenty of lounging space with sunbeds and deckchairs for sunbathing, relaxing and watching the world go by.
