5 bedrooms , 4 bathrooms villa with private swimming pool at only 3 minutes from the sandy beaches of Torre Guaceto . The house is immersed in the nature with many ancient olive trees, perfect location to relax with your family or large group of friends. At only 5 minutes drive there is the small village of Serranova at 10 minutes there is San Vito dei Normanni or Carovigno. Brindisi airport is at 20 minutes drive..
Designed and built by an artist and interior designer couple who live and work here part time, the house is a creative collaboration that tells the story of their lives and many passions for art, travel and design.   
The interiors are spacious and enveloping with dark, saturated earth tones and a fluid indoor outdoor flow. Expansive and airy, the large scale of the living areas make the best use of the natural light and views.
The kitchen and dining areas are on the bottom floor with double bedroom on the upper floor accessed via a grand staircase. 
3 double bedrooms are located on the right side of the open living room
Furnished and decorated with one-of-a-kind pieces from around the world, the house is an inspired synthesis of contemporary and Pugliese design.

AROUND
Within walking distance of the tiny farming village of Serranova and less than a mile to the sea, the Salento Peninsula region lies at the midpoint of Italy’s heel between both the Adriatic and Ionian Seas with lovely beaches on either side. The protected nature reserve and beaches of Torre Guaceto is within ten minutes as are the medieval villages of San Vito dei Normanni, Specchiolla and Carovigno. The port town of Brindisi (and final stop along the famed Appian Way) lies twenty minutes southeast while the stunning Baroque city of Lecce, known as the Florence of the South, is within thirty minutes. The lovely UNESCO port town of Otranto and the Ionian seaside town of Gallipoli are worth a day trip drive while the White City of Ostuni, Martina Franca, Alberobello and the Valle d’Itria are all within a short drive.

Magnifique découverte des pouilles

Stefania , notre hôte , a été très accueillante et disponible lorsque cela s’avérait nécessaire … La maison est atypique , une sorte de cabinet de curiosités … L’emplacement de la maison est optimal , à très faible distance de la plage et bien situé au milieu des différents villages d’intérêt ! Lieu et calme et reposant avec une vegetarian sublime que nous avons eu plaisir à observer aux différentes heures de la journée … nous aurons certainement plaisir à y retourner !

A Fanastic Holiday

Met Stefania at the villa and she gave us a tour round, the villa is definately an unusual place but totally lovely at the same time. We didnt feel we had to out every day as hav ing pool days was relaxing and enjoyable. The villa was very well catered for and very sociable . There are many different areas to sit and take in the view especially the roof terrace to watch the sunset with a bottle of local vino! Beaches in the area are lovely and sandy and beautiful clear sea. Visited Brindisi and Bari and Ostuni is a must place to visit. We also did a wine tasting tour (Tenute Rubino) in Brindisi which was very enjoyable and informative then wine tasting was at a Restaurant on the sea front where we were driven to by the tour guide. Overall we had a fantastic and very enjoyable family holiday. Only one thing missing ..... a Kettle as we Brits enjoy our cuppa!!! LOL!

Great place with gorgeous garden

We just had a wonderful holiday in Carovigno. With 3 families, including 4 young kids, we stayed in a fantastic place. The pictures online looked great but the house and gorgeous garden were even better in reality. The house was very authentic with great personal accents applied by the owners. It is really a somewhat hidden and secret place (“het verborgene” as they call it in Dutch). The children were very enthusiastic of the pool and we were fond of the spacious garden. We really had a great time.

Zeer mooie woning en locatie, maar afgeleefd

Mooie architecturale woning met prachtige ligging tussen de olijfboomgaarden. De woning en terraszone met zwembad gaven echter een ietwat afgeleefde indruk en een aantal technische mankementen in sanitaire voorzieningen/zwembad en airco zorgden voor de nodige ongemakken net zoals de verschillende wespennesten rond het zwembad. Kortom, de verhouding prijs/kwaliteit is niet geheel correct. De eigenaars zijn supervriendelijke lieve mensen die steeds bereikbaar en hulpvaardig waren bij zoeken naar oplossingen voor de ongemakken. Kleine tip voor de eigenaars: kleine opfrisbeurt van de woning: keuken / terras en zwembadzone en her en der een nieuw likje verf zouden deze prachtige villa ten goede komen. In de huidige staat is de huurprijs overpriced.

We loved everything of the house location and surroundings. The house is very charming and with a very special atmosphere. The owner is an artist and the house is full of paintings and pieces of art. The beaches of Torre Guaceto are easy to reach by bike in 5 minutes. Good restaurants are 10 minutes drive . We loved our holidays and hope to come back
