Trulli Stella - Rare & Immaculate with unique outdoor kitchen (3 Bed, 2 bath)

Convenient to Ceglie Messapica, Ostuin and San Michele Salentino. This beautifully restored trulli is ideal for couples or families and offers peace and tranquillity and many amenities. Our outdoor kitchen is unique with BBQ, Pizza Oven, cooker, Fridge and Freezer, Wine Fridge and washing machine, providing an amazing outdoor dining experience. Our local caretaker is an expert cook and can provide private dining and cooking lessons.

We have 3 double bedrooms decorated in neutral tones in keeping with the original stone. 2 rooms can be made as a double or twin room, and have double doors opening out onto the garden. Third bedroom/sitting room with large electric sofa bed overlooks the veranda and pool. Two bathrooms one with small bath/shower, second with walk in shower.

Living/dining area with small double sofa bed and large sun room with large sofabed, TV /Video Player,CD player, dining table and chairs. Winter log burning stove.
Well-equipped modern fitted kitchen with ample storage space, oven, hob, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.

The entire trullo has air-conditioning and heating units in each room (except bathrooms)

A beautiful location and a wonderful villa (Trulli). One of the best places we’ve stayed at.A wonderfully restored Trulli, with fabulous landscaped gardens, outdoor pool and kitchen. Well equipped, comfortable and relaxing. We loved it and will certainly look to book again.

Wonderful oasis in Puglia

The photos do not do this property justice! The house, gardens and pool are all beautiful. Stella, her sister and Anna Marie are so helpful, with recommendations for the local area (the guide book became our bible) and they had thought of everything in the villa. This really isn't like the usual villa experience where you can't find enough cutlery or pots and pans - the house is so well equipped and we were greeted by a very thoughtful welcome basket on arrival. The house and gardens are so well looked after and our only slight complaint was that the pool was too cold - but that was the fault of the unusually cold weather in the run up to our visit. We had such a lovely time - the children called it their magical fairy house and we want to thank Stella for letting us stay in her beautiful home.

Beautifully presented Trulli House

Lovely Trulli in a great location. So peacefully and relaxing. The Trullie has been well restored and modernized to today’s needs and the outdoor kitchen has everything you could want.

A beautiful property in a quiet rural location but only 10 mins from Ostuni and Ceglia Mesapica

A great restoration of an old trulli. The outdoor kitchen was superb with all the kit and appliances you would ever need (including a wine fridge!) We ate breakfast and lunch here and never used the indoor kitchen. Pool area was plenty big enough with chairs/loungers for everyone. It was 38 degrees pretty much the entire time we were there so the Air Con was brilliant. The property manager, Anna Maria, could not have been more helpful and is only 10 mins away. I would be happy to recommend this Trulli to anyone looking to holiday in the Puglia region.

A classy pad in which to chill

A beautifully restored and extended trulli, very thoughtfully executed. Great outside kitchen beside the pool was all we ever used. Comfortable bedrooms and all set in mature grounds and olive grove in a quiet rural setting. We enjoyed visiting the local towns and imbibing the Puglian wine and cuisine. A truly relaxing week with the perfect 'base camp'.

superbe trullo en pleine nature et tout est conforme aux présentations sur internet . Nous étions deux couples d'adultes et les espaces intérieurs y sont tout à fait adaptés . La cuisine extérieure est géniale et bien pensée et permet de diner au bord de la piscine . La literie est bonne et le calme de la nuit est très appréciable . Bref , un séjour réussi grâce à un logement impeccable ...seul petit bémol , il manque un percolateur !

Trulli unique experience!

Once in a lifetime stay in a stone cone-shaped trulli dwelling typical of the Puglia region. 4 adults across 3 bedrooms enjoyed the layout, which offered plenty of different zones to do one's own thing. We found ourselves using the external kitchen constantly and swimming in the pool every morning despite the mild weather. Located 5 minutes drive from Ceglie Messapica, don't be deceived by the modern, run-down outer of this foodie town. The historic centre up on the hill is stunning and the food is cheap and plentiful. Many other towns and attractions around the area in all directions. Only real downside was our stress driving on the opposite side of the road in an SUV, which probably enhanced our desire to laze around and do nothing by the pool for much of the week. Next time I'd hire a smaller car, though native right-side drivers likely wouldn't suffer from this stress. I'd also make use of the transport service the landlord lists (in the comprehensive guest info book) in order to head into Ceglie more often throughout the week for wining and dining. And I'd stay 10-14 days instead of 7, given there's so many day trips on offer!

Beautiful Trulli in the heart of Puglia

We loved our visit to Trulli Stella! It is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. It's convenient to great restaurants, wonderful historic sites, and perfect for a relaxing day by the pool, (though weather during our mid-October visit was a bit chilly for swimming). Anna Maria was warm and welcoming, and we are grateful for the hospitality she showed us on behalf of the property owners.

Trulli Stella is a beautifully presented villa with pool, set in pretty, private surroundings.

We've had the most wonderfully relaxing time as a family at Trulli Stella. It is beautifully presented and very well kept, and set in the most wonderfully pretty, yet very private location. Every detail has been carefully thought through, offering everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The owners were very responsive and accommodating with our requirements, and the written guide was incredibly detailed and useful. There are so many things to see and do in the nearby area, yet we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the villa as it is so lovely, and well equipped. The outdoor kitchen was just so useful as we virtually lived outdoors, taking shade from the heat of the day, and cooking up meals from the garden and lovely local produce available just a stone's throw from the villa. You'd be hard pushed to find a better place for a holiday - we can't wait to come back.

Stunning, luxurious, relaxing

Superb design of house, outdoor kitchen and gardens. Spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped. Probably the best property we have rented in over 25 years for being the 'complete package'. So relaxing and yet with plenty of excursions to keep you well occupied. We hope to return !

Wonderful Luxury Trulli House - lovingly restored

This house is trulli wonderful, it certainly lives up to the descriptions, and more. The outside kitchen, BBQ and Pizza oven provide the ultimate Italian experience. The quality of the property, furnishings and equipment is first class and everything is provided to maximise your comfort. The Caretaker is wonderful and can't do enough to help. The restaurants in San Michele and Cegle Messapica are great and the days out at Castello Monaci, Alberobello, Ostunia and Matera are outstanding.

Welcome to paradise!

Een hele week tussen 22 en 25 graden in een prachtige omgeving in deze tijd van het jaar is al een cadeautje op zich. De eerste gedachten vanaf de aankomst en ontvangst waren: "We want to buy this place and stay forever" Wij hadden het gevoel dat deze villa speciaal voor ons verblijf volledig in orde was gemaakt, zowel de tuin als de woning als de buitenkeuken waren in onberispelijke staat. De eigenares en de ontvangstdame waren heel vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam. Van alle verblijven die we al ooit gehuurd hebben was dit de allermooiste totaalervaring. We hebben pizza's en brood gebakken in de fantastische pizza oven in de buitenkeuken, heerlijk van de veranda genoten, buiten geleefd,..... Kortom, een hele fijne ervaring.

Beautifully renovated and fabulous outdoor kitchen

The trullo is very well positioned to provide privacy and security, with a lovely setting and glorious outside space for playing and swimming. The outdoor kitchen is a triumph, and now I want one too! The house is cosy and well equipped, and so beautifully restored and extended with really well thought out ideas for additional living room. The only improvements I could suggest would be to have more kitchen paraphernalia (cutlery, oven gloves, tea towels, and cooking utensils) and a more comfortable seating area in the kitchen area. I thought that a bespoke day bed with a wall mounted TV in one of the coves would be great, to make it more cosy and give a better use of the space). The shower attachments in the bathrooms leaked water, but that's easily remedied. Small criticisms, because it is a truly beautiful house and the attention to detail in the architecture is evident. I think that the money spent on doing the house is clear in the big things, but that the bathroom fittings and such are of a lower standard than the building itself. I would definitely recommend the house as a destination, the price was very reasonable for what you get, and it is really the outside space which makes it fabulous.

We are an Irish and English family with three amazing Trulli villas in Puglia, the sun-drenched Adriatic coastline of Southern Italy. We have created a veritable oasis of charm and comfort by renovating these historic and charming trullo set in the quiet countryside between the vibrant towns of Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica. Our house has a private pool, acres of olive groves, private landscaped gardens, terrazzo’s, shady nooks and even a vegetable garden or two.

Trulli Stella is fully equipped for families, friends or romantic honeymoons. It has WiFi, TV, DVD Players, Hair Dryers, Washing Machines, Freezers, and all linens, towels and pool towels are provided.

Puglia, known as the “Garden of Italy” is the largest producer of olive oil and vegetables in Italy, and its abundant coastline provides the freshest and most varied seafood and fish imaginable. Ceglie Messapica is the Gourmet centre of southern Italy and every local town has their own speciality, and with prices this low you can eat out every day! The local wines are first class with Primitivo, Negromaro and Salentino winning gold awards around the world.

Puglia is truly the unspoilt and “real” Italian lovers paradise, and our Trulli delivers a 5 star experience in a 6 star region.

This ultra-modern, luxurious two/three bedroom two bathroom trulli has been expertly restored in 2006 providing excellent accommodation while retaining the charm and character of the original building. The extension, added in 2014 provides an additional sitting room/bedroom so the house can now sleep 8 people. The Trulli is light and airy and tastefully furnished with modern new furniture. It oozes flair in every respect from the inset floor spotlights to the sleek lines of the stylish indoor kitchen. However this Trullo has another secret; a super-large outdoor fully equipped external kitchen with BBQ and Pizza Oven, adjacent to the oval swimming pool, ensuring you can spend as much time as possible in the sunshine. Full central heating and air conditioning make the property suitable for holidays from March to November.

There is ample parking and car port to keep vehicle cool during hot summers.

There is a smart TV with Netflix subscription, board games and cards to keep everyone amused!
