Apartment Carol 2 is new fully refurbished apartment in our family house with the swimming pool. It is nicley decorated, modern and fully equipped.
It is ideal for families with children or for couples or friends.
It accommodates up to 5 people- four in the two bedroomsand one on the sofa in the living room.
Kitchen utensils- fridge, freezer, two ring stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker, dishes and cutlery.
Washing machine is in the apartment.
There are two bathrooms in the apartment- one is with shower, wash basin and toilet, and other is with wash basin and toilet.
Two private outdoor balconies- one with the seaview and other with hill view, both with table and chairs.
This apartment is located on the first floor with 15 stairs to it.

Sejour à Cavtat

Endroit agreable de même que l'accueil. Balcon terrasse avec vue sur la mer et sur Dubrovnic au loin. Beau coucher de soleil.pas loin d'une plage et à 20 minutes de Dubrovnic en auto. Cuisine bien équipé.

Lovely week in Cavtat

Beautiful apartment with wonderful view of the bay, walking distance to the ferry to take to Dubrovnik. The nearby swimming beaches were lovely. We enjoyed the ambiance of the apartment -very clean, fun lighting, well appointed kitchen.

5 Star Holiday!

We had a fantastic stay in Ivo and Ivana’s beautiful apartment. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with fabulous views of the sea and the sunsets. Cavtat is beautiful with plenty of good places to eat and drink. It’s pretty hilly but we liked that. The No.10 bus is very convenient for getting into Dubrovnik. One of the best holidays we’ve had!

The apartment was immaculate on arrival. It is only 5 minutes drive from airport. Ivana was excellent with communication and got in touch before hand to inquire about the timing of arrival and offered us the bigger apartment for the same price. The apartment has spectacular views,all amenities and the pool was clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The supermarket was a couple of minutes away. Ivana let us use the washing machine as well. It is about 25-30 minutes drive from old town and 5 minutes drive to Caveat harbour. In summary we loved our stay and would love to come again if we ever visit Cavtat again.

Lovely Holiday

Carol was very helpful on check in and available throughout our stay should we have needed it . Apartment nice with beautiful views of ocean over to Dubrovnik.Had nice family feel to it . Very quiet as is end of season Walk into Cavtat took around 20 minutes, very steep hill though!

Spotlessly clean with a kitchen that was well equipped.

There is a food market 3 minutes walk and across the busy road that was handy. Restaurants and the village of Cavtat are a 15 min walk down hill. There are at least a doz. which serve generally the same type of fare. Italian/Fish/Mediterranean There Is a beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas, huge bouncy castle in the water for kids and water sport activities. The hill was so steep we took a cab back home because it was so steep. The pool was lovely in this heat and it had a great view of Dubrovnik and sunset.

Fantastic stay, June 2019

A fantastic property in a beautiful location with all the modenr facilities you would expect. The hosts were very friendly and looked after us very well. It would have been 5 across the board, the only slight downside was the walk back up the hill (we resorted to a taxi on 3 nights to give the legs a rest - 70 Kuna). The website should also make it clear that the pool is shared by all residents in the complex, not just the 2 villas the family run/own. Having said this, we had the pool to ourselves most days. The villa is also only 5 minutes from the airport, but you don't hear the aircraft at night. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the stay, Cavtat is lovely and it is a short trip to Dubrovnik which is very picturesque.

Firstly I would like to mention how efficient the Bendis family were with the transfers to and from the airport. The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The balcony had enough room for a patio set, where we were able to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Cavtat Bay. We also had a lovely shaded patio area at the front of the apartment. The pool area was always very clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. There is a very handy supermarket very close to the apartments where you are able to pick-up essentials. As previously mentioned it is quite a walk to Cavtat town, we were offered lifts by the Bendis family, but we chose to walk off the lovely meals we had in the many restaurants in town. We also ate in the apartment restaurant and I have to mention the chef, who prepared fabulous food and was always attentive,courteous and the food was such good value. The Bendis family are very accommodating as Carol's brother kindly took us to Dubrovnik because we had an early morning booking-kayaking which we thoroughly enjoyed. Croatia is a beautiful country (third time we have visited), Cavtat is a very quaint town, we had a fabulous holiday made even more special by our hosts the Bendis family. We will definitely return.

Really lovely place, and owners

My husband, daughter and myself stayed last summer. The apartment, pool and owners couldn't be faulted. The views are spectacular, the owners will take you to and from the town centre to save walking back uphill. Buses to Dubrovnik leave and return to the road end regularly. A large supermarket is less than 5 minutes walk away. We ate in the restaurant once towards the end of the holiday - wish we'd tried it sooner as the food was lovely. No menu as such, just fresh fish and steaks, and a choice of accompanying sauces. I would recommend this - especially for those looking for somewhere picturesque and not too developed.

we are a family with two little girls (5 years and 10 months), we spent 5 days in Family Bendis apartments. The apartment was very clean and well furnished on a quiet and nice place. The view is fantastic from the apartment, overlooking the coastline and the ocean. The pool was allways clean and very well maintained . Excellent customer service, kate is so nice and makes you feel at home. The apartments are self-catering and right next to a supermarket.100% recommended. We spent a week in this very spacious, spotlessly clean, very well maintained apartment. The wonderful Kate was there to greet us when we arrived and always on hand if we had any questions. Excellent cutomer service. The view is fantastic from the apartment. The walk down to the water is short but coming back can be testing when the sun is very hot. However lifts from Kate can be easily arranged if needed. I would recommend this property.

A Perfect Getaway

My Fiance and I went for our 2nd trip to Croatia in September with My Brother and his Partner. We stayed in Apartment 1 and really couldn't have asked for more from our hosts. The Bendis Family were so welcoming, and Kate was always on hand ensuring we had everything we needed (and more!). The apartment was very clean and well furnished. The view from our balcony was stunning, overlooking the coastline and the beautiful blue ocean. The pool was a good size and very refreshing, which was lovely after the walk back from the town (prepare yourself for a hill!) I would recommend taking up the offer from Kate of traditional Croatian cooking, she makes a gorgeous Peka, and we had a lovely evening meeting with some of the other guests in the apartment block. I would recommend Croatia to anyone and in particular staying with The Bendis Family. Fantastic holiday, our 2 weeks flew by so fast.

Fantastic Apartment!

We are a family of five with three children aged 17, 14 and 12. We had the most wonderful holiday in this apartment in August. The apartment was clean, spacious and well maintained with spectacular sea views from the windows and fig trees by the front door! The pool was clean and well maintained with plenty of room around the pool area. The apartment was close to a small supermarket and was set in the hillside about 15 minutes down to the beach and slightly longer into the main town. The walk back up is slightly longer, but we found the exercise up the hill invigorating and we could throw ourselves in the pool at the end! However the walk was not a problem as Kate (the mother of the family) was always happy to offer us a lift and we never felt awkward telephoning her for a lift during the day or evening. Kate very kindly offered to cook us a Croatian meal, which my daughter claimed was the best meal she had in Croatia! Kate was especially attentive, offering us help and advice on the local area and organising the travel arrangements between the airport and the apartment. Any questions we asked prior to the holiday were answered quickly and effectively, so we had no doubts about the accommodation even before we arrived in Croatia. We thought Cavtat was a beautiful, unspoilt town with stunning views. Highly recommended and would definitelty return to this accommodation again

We had a wonderful stay in apartment 2 which had everything we needed for a group of 3 including a galley kitchen, internet access and air conditioning, The apartment has a fantastic view and although the pool was lovely we really enjoyed the short walk down the hill to a perfect beach - Kate was always on available at the end of her mobile to spare us the steep climb back up! Cavtat and Dubrovnik are great places to explore with plenty to see and do - culture and relaxation in equal measure. Because of its proximity to the airport and the fact that trasfers were both easy and included in the price I would recommend this apartment for a short break as well as a longer holiday. Kate and her family are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to others!

A family run business, relaxing and welcoming ...

We spent a week here at the beginning of August 2009. Kate met us at the airport and was very helpful. She also offered to ferry us backward and forward to Cavtat as it was downhill- ok to walk down but a little more energy needed to come back! It was a relaxing holiday, the Bendis family were so nice and we really felt at home even if it was our first holiday in Croatia. Thank you Kate! One tip- beware of some boat trips in Cavtat who do not always go where they say they are going and also the boat they say you will be going on!

Lovely relaxing stay

We had a lovely holiday in this apartment, which was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Kate, the proprietor, lives on site with her husband and was very welcoming at the airport and kindly provided information during our stay. The apartment is very close to the supermarket, and it is about 20 mins walk down to the town and the nearest restaurants, and a bit longer walking up! The hill is steep, however Kate always offered us a lift, and made sure we felt completely at ease ringing her after we had been out either during the day or the evening for a lift back by car. The views are amazing from the apartment windows, the pool lovely and clean, and we had a sociable evening with others enjoying a traditional Croatian meal cooked by Kate. Her husband, will also take you out on his boat to a nearby island, or for a tour of the coastline. The family were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring we made the most of our holiday. We would certainly recommend the apartment.

1st Class property with 1st class property owners.

We are a family of four with two children (aged 8&4).We had a wonderful week staying at these superbly appointed apartments and were very well looked after by the lovely Bendis family.The apartments have stunning sea views,an immaculate pool area and well tended grounds with grape vines,fig trees and olive trees.A supermarket is only a 2 minute walk away.The apartments are located up a steep hill but this is not a problem as the Bendis family insist on driving you to and from the town below as part of their excellent service.Indeed nothing was too much trouble for the Bendis family who were always available to deal with any requests.Special mention for Kate,the mother of the family,who went out of her way to ensure we had a memorable visit.We also hired her husband,Ivo`s,boat for a trip over to the little island of Supetar.Kate also arranged car hire for us when we visited Mostar.We all had a great time in Cavtat and I have no hesitation in recommending these superb apartments.

The descripation was accurate with the details supplied from Holiday rentals, the apartment was clean and well maintained, the owner (Kate) changed the towels regularly or as requested, if we required anything the owners were more than helpfull to assist us, if we wanted to go anywhere locally Kate was more than accomadating in giving us a lift or picking us up, the pool was clean with plenty of sunbeds for everyone, Kate's home cooked speciality dish was very tasty, overall we all had a great time and would definitely return

wonderful holidays in Cavtat

We just returned from 14 great days at Bendis apptms in Cavtat. We found everything as described. Kate and her family did everything to make our holidays as pleasant as possible. The app was wonderful, everything was great, we enjoyed our holidays, particularly home-made wine, "peka" and Kate's tiramisu cake. Our 7-year-old Lotta was fond of everything and we all recommend this place to families with children.

Lovely place to stay

We have stayed at Apartments Carol. They are excellent and the owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. The apartment we stayed in (No 5) was spacious, very clean and quiet. The pool area is great too and very suitable for young childen. The apartment is just outside Cavtat up the hill (with great views of the sea). You can walk in but the owners also offer to drive you in and back if you want! The apartments are self-catering and right next to a supermarket. The owners will also offer you a Croatian meal if you wanted - worth trying!

A wonderful Holiday

just back from a lovely stay at the apartments Carol. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean, had wonderful views and air con! We ate out every night except one when we took advantage of Kate's delicious home-cooked traditional Croatian meal. Our fave restaurants were the Dolium and the Galija.

Wonderful Apartment

We stayed in Apartment 6 in June 2009 for two weeks. The apartment was extremely spacious and certainly big enough for our family. Both double bedrooms are of a good size and the 2 showers certainly came in useful. The lounge was large with wonderful views over the bay and there was also a communal area with a bar and TV that could be enjoyed by all. We found the apartment to be very clean with all the necessary amenities a family would require. In addition, the pool was wonderful to relax and unwind. The owners made us feel really welcome and were always on hand if we needed anything. They not only picked us up from the airport but also provided additional transport everyday if we required plus gave us ideas of where to visit and eat. I would certainly recommend the restaurants of Leut, Ivan and Galija. The location of the apartment was excellent combining superb views of the countryside and bays plus being only a 10 minute walk from the beach and a further 5/10 mins to the centre of Cavtat. Cavtat was a wonderful village, with its friendly locals and lovely restaurants and bars. After looking at other places in the Dubrovnik area to stay we believe we stayed in the perfect location which had a water ferry only 10 mins away which supplied cheap and easy transport to Dubrovnik Old Town and the nearby Islands. I often read other people's reviews but for the first time have decided to place my own review on this property given the wonderful holiday we just had. I would have no hesitation to recommend this apartment to anyone.

Holiday in Cavtat

The apartment was delightfully located close to Debrovnik and airport and Cavtat village with a lovely view over the bay toward.Dubrovnik. This compact family-run apartment complex was imaculately maintained as was the well appointed apartment with an excellent aspect to the sun. The owner was welcoming and helpful and we are delighted to recommend.
