Unidad-Baño compartido-Dog Pod

Adult Only Dog Pod - Pine camping pod with zip-and-link beds, allowing for a double or twin format.
All include a 2-seater sofa, electric socket, kettle and heater.
All bedding is included, including throws, but guests are advised to bring their own towels.
Cups are provided. Guests are advised to bring their own drinks, towels, crookery, cutlery and fire wood.
Lights and electric available (limited wattage).
Please note this unit only accommodates 2 adults.
Pets can be only accommodated in Dog Pods, not Posh Pods, The Yurt or The Cabin.

The Little Hide Adult Only Camping Pods, are the perfect place to spend a few nights, nestled in the Yorkshire countryside, but only minutes from the heart of the City of York.

We have a bunch of really great camping pods, a Chic Cabin and Nomadic Yurt, all fully furnished, so all you have to do is turn up and relax!

Our camping pods are unique – they were designed by us and are perfect for a short break!

Pets can stay in 6 of the pods, but all other units are kept allergy free.

Willow House Caravan Park and The Little Hide are both child free sites, making them perfect for a few quiet nights away, with some of Europe’s best restaurants and sights on the doorstep!

Not happy as when we left they tried to charge for bed linen as it’s had paw prints on it from our dog..we stayed in a Dog Pod it was a very wet weekend and the grounds were very muddy. Also security is poor had a barrier with a code but barrier was never down

Fantastic

I’ve been contracting for nearly 20 years and decided to stay somewhere a bit different to the usual hotel rooom. Best decision ever. So peaceful and clean and just wholesome. Hopefully I’ll be able to stay next week again.

Nice glamping site

Whilst lovely, it feels very hands off. I did not see or have contact with any staff member through the entire booking or stay. I was hoping to do late check out but couldn't quite figure out how on website and request via email had no response. Mugs are tiny though so take your own if you like a decent size cuppa. Also I thought there was a microwave in the fridge hut but there isn't (but it didn't matter). Sadly a bad ant infestation in kitchen area of pod. Otherwise it was fab. Cosy despite cold and rain. Showers were excellent. It's lovely and peaceful and relaxing.

We had an amazing time at the little hide celebrating our friends 60th Birthday .

From booking to arriving it was fantastic, Donna was really helpful. The pods were immaculate and there was everything we could have wanted! The willow farm cafe was also fabulous, an excellent breakfast very reasonably priced. We will definetley be back, we all had a fabulous time …. 15 of us

A well maintained site with good facilities and the glamping pods are super comfortable and well set up. Odd as never met any staff but check.in and check out were easy if follow the instructions.

All-weather relaxation: for occasional peace and quiet.

Everything is near to hand - even a smile from the occasional 'gifts' left behind in the fridge store, by the-day-before glampers!! Once inside and enjoying the comfy king-sized bed, the pod can even look cathedral height. The fire-pit is excellent with smokeless woods - altogether it really was the feel of luxury, safe, comfortable "camping".

The Little Hide is owned by Donna, who after travelling the world with her work, decided she wanted to spend some more time at home, and the Glamping site allowed her to do that.

The Caravan Park is owned by her uncles and was the perfect location for The Little Hide!

Kirsty is the General Manager of The Little Hide and has embraced the site as her own, she loves making the place look nice and keeps it spotlessly clean!
