This spacious 1 bedroom apartment is situated within a brand new development located only a short walk away from the heart of the Centre of York.

The apartment is on the ground floor and has its own private entrance. It has a lovely open plan living/dining area, perfect for your break away in York. The sitting area has a sofa that you can sink into should you wish to "hide away" for an evening of movie's in front of the smart TV. Fitted with Netflix, it has everything you need to just sit back and relax.

The fully fitted kitchen is perfect for preparing your holiday breakfasts or treats purchased in the many deli's situated in The Shambles and the centre of York, only a 10 min stroll from the apartment. You can then enjoy these either at the dining table inside or outside at the bistro table and chairs, just for you!

The lovely cosy bedroom has a king-sized bed, perfect for those "long lie in's" complimented by a en-suite shower room - after a day spent exploring the historic City of York and the beautiful surrounding countryside, a day at the Races, or an evening of wining and dining in the numerous fantastic bars and restaurants, these are just what you need to relax and unwind.

Situated within easy striking distance of this lovely holiday apartment has everything that you need for an excellent stay in York - whether it be a weekend getaway, longer term or on a business trip.

Property was beautifully clean and well presented. Everything was provided for a couple staying. We were there over Christmas and there was a pretty tree and decorations, which were very nice. A nice welcome pack was provided - wrapped for Christmas! Location of property is excellent for visitor attractions of central York.

A highly recommended, clean, comfortable accommodation

What a refreshing change to find an accommodation with no negatives! The apartment was scrupulously clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was superb, hot and powerful and the welcome pack was indeed very welcome, thank you The surroundings were very quiet with lots of greenery and trees but within flat, easy walking distance to the city. The kitchen contained everything you would need and to have a washer dryer was a real bonus so we could do our washing the night before we left. Bliss All in all I wouldn't hesitate in recommending 6 St. John's Mews as a base to stay when in York

Just what we needed

Good location. 10 minute walk into city. Very nice apartment. Clean tidy. Good shower. Easy access. Great for two people. Heating okay as on timer but could go on a bit earlier having said that you press a button to boost so not a hassle. Would recomend

A great property in a great city

Lovely, spotlessly clean apartment close to the city centre. Apartment has everything you may need for your stay. Comfortable bed & lovely shower. Check-in easy with a lock-box. Short walk into the centre of York where there is plenty to see and do for a long weekend. Would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood

The booking process was excellent, with great communication throughout. The apartment was easy to find and access using the key safe. It is located in a quiet residential street just outside the city walls and is handy for all the sights in York. I didn't have the use of a car for my stay, but easily managed to get to all the sights and attractions in York from the apartment due to its location. The property was spotlessly clean, and had everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. I would be very happy to return!

Flat in York

This flat was extremely conveniently placed. Just 12 minutes walk into the centre of York and all its attractions. Plus a designated parking spot, absolutely invaluable. The flat was small but extremely comfortable. Would definitely book gain.

Clean, renovated, ideally located.

The unit is right by St. John’s University, ideally located to be near my student but also in walking distance to the city center. The kitchen had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again.

A lovely apartment with all you need for a great visit to York

The apartment was airy, warm and spotlessly clean, with everything looking brand new. The kitchen area had everything I needed and I particularly appreciated that a teapot was included! The shower is great. The instructions and recommendations were helpful. The location was quiet but less than a 5 minute walk to the city walls and all that York has to offer beyond. I didn't need parking but there is a car park a minute's walk away. It's a modern apartment so if you want historic charm, it might not be for you, but there's so much, literally just outside the door, I hardly think it matters.

great stay

excellent property, all new bosch appliances,very comfortable bed. it was nice to come home to after a day of sight seeing. very clean, great location. The property mgrs were very helpful with a small issue we had,which was resolved very quickly. Thank you ladies! We would stay again

We might be back again

We rented this apartment for the third time as it is excellently located in relation to the rest of the family in York. It is also in a quiet area and there is almost no traffic or noise in the neighbourhood. We only have two things that we wish were better and it concerns the furnishing of the apartment, one is that we missed a coffee table and two that the bed was very high (maybe because of the drawers underneath).

Perfect for Us

We we're very pleased with this apartment. We loved the spaciousness with a kitchen area, dining area and sitting room. It gave us the space needed to relax after a long day in York. The bed was very comfortable. The entire place was spotless. Instructions on how to check in/out were clear and simple. The location was prefect. It it about two blocks from the wall so it was quiet and very little traffic. There's a small grocery store within 2 blocks. When coming back to York, we would definitely look to stay in this place again.

Perfect view of the Minster, ideal location

Stayed here for the weekend we have family in York, this was a great place with such a huge amount of space! The kitchen/living room area was great and nice touch with the hamper. Once you step outside the door you look right up the street and have a perfect view of the Minster. Although it is located outside of the walls it’s literally about a 1minute walk and you’re within the walls. Price was great for centre of york, bed was extremely comfortable. Overall a thoroughly delightful stay.
