Volcano Off the Grid Eco Cabin Retreat in the heart of the tropical raiforest.

The Volcano Eco Cabin is situated on six acres of a private young Ohi'a forest, adjacent to the Volcano National Park. Only 5 miles from the main entrance, at the Elevation of 2400 feet the cool mountain breeze provides natural air-conditioning and escape from the tropical heat with all it's bugs.

You can also be proud of the ecological footprint you are leaving behind by using the Sun for electricity, pure rain for water, being completely off the grid, without sacrificing any convenient utility.

On cloudless nights you can admire the magnificent stary sky and the Milky Way, while falling asleep in a cozy bed to the coqui frogs nightly concert. And if you are honored by tropical rainfall, we have tons of pre-loaded movies on the HD TV set with the sound system and all to provide late night entertainment.

Close to Volcano National Park

This is a nice place to stay close to Volcano national park. It is about 10 to 15 minutes away from the park entrance. It is quite and relaxing. Hosts are great and check in/check out was easy.

Cute, convenient and calm!

I loved staying here for 2 nights while checking out Hilo and Volcano National Park! The cabin is so peaceful, the bed is comfy, great shower and wifi. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need, and the host provided fresh eggs and coffee. I highly recommend this cabin for a solo traveler or couple!
