I don’t think there a lot of options to stay in the tiny town of Volcano. This place was perfect for our family of five! Felt like sleeping in a treehouse in the rainforest. This was super convenient for spending the day in the National Park.

Very clean, spacious and conveniently located to Volcano National Park. We spent a night while we were visiting the park and it was the perfect home base. We stayed with our two teenage kids and plenty of room for all of us. The owners were very communicative and friendly. I would stay there again if we visit the island in the future.

This was a great location for our one night stay while touring volcanoes national Park. It was about a five minute drive to the park so it was very convenient.

The accomodations very very comfortable and very very clean. There is plenty of room even for a larger group. Beds were super comfortable and there was ample extra bedding as well as bath towels. Internet worked great.As for critical comments, the kitchen could use a few more supplies. We cooked one dinner for seven of us. We found everything we needed for cooking, but servivng was a problem. There were no serving utensils, salt or pepper shakers. no napkins or paper towels, and no foil, plastic wrap or bags. Also, there are only 6 dining room chairs.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that you found the accommodations comfortable, clean, and spacious, and that the beds and internet worked well for your group. We also appreciate your constructive feedback. We do normally provide paper towels, napkins, and salt, but we had a new cleaning person prepare the home before your stay, and unfortunately those items were overlooked during restocking. We've already replenished them. We agree that we could use a few more serving utensils, and we'll be adding additional serving spoons. We also have one extra dining chair that can be brought into the dining room to accommodate larger groups. As for the foil, plastic wrap, and storage bags, those are not items we typically provide. We recommend that future guests who anticipate needing those supplies bring them along for their stay. Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us continue improving the experience for our guests!

The host was very responsive to questions, and the location was ideal for a reasonably-priced property close to Volcano National Park.We came from Waikoloa, and had a much better experience yo see the park with an overnight stay here.

This house was really close to the Volcano Park. It was way more roomy than we needed for 4 adults. Great place. Just be sure you can climb a full set of stairs to access it.

We weren’t able to make it because of an emergency road closure. The host was incredibly quick and kind anout refunding our stay. Even though we never made it, I’d definitely try to stay here again after the great service we received.

Excellent location - it was so convenient staying close to Volcanoes National Park. The property itself was very clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with anything we could need. We had a very tranquil and relaxing stay here.
