Newly just refurbished studio apartment (on January 2016!) on fourth floor of a historical building wonderfully located in the heart of the old town of Split, and overlooking the delightful hustle and bustle in the Narodni trg square, this 1 bedroom, studio apartment is ideal for travelers looking for close proximity to everything combined with comfort.
Fully equipped kitchen, brand new bathroom, cable tv, wifi, it has everything you need to have beautiful and quality time in Split and even staying inside with just open windows - you will feel the spirit of charming life of this city as you are in the heart of beautiful Split, one of few with such a good location!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: In December 2018 we renovated windows and fixed some minor shower problems. Now even more comfortable and more peaceful being in the pure center of the city!

Split stone apartment

Perfect area in the middle of the old town! The room was beautiful and rustic just what I was hoping for with the stones walls and wood beams! We had a wonderful time!

Fabulous stay

Everything about our stay @ Stone Walls Studio in Split was amazing. I highly recommend this property and will definitely rebook it when I return to Split.

GREAT location right in the middle of everything. Some outside noise at night but not enough to keep us awake. Check in was good. Was offered a driver which I took them up on but just know there is Uber which is half the cost so your call

So quaint. Lovely overlooking the square. The shower needs looked at. Noisey at night but worth it.

We loved our stay. Unfortunately the ladder to the loft were broken and we had to work around them. I would on hesatate to stay again. Would recommend to others.

Very central

Charming little studio in the centre of Old Town Split close to everything. Comfy bed. Apartment is on the top floor so lots of stairs to navigate. Shower curtain not ideal

Split Apt. on the Trg

Perfect location within the Palace walls for touring, dining, and entertainment. You can people watch right outside your windows-from early morning deliveries to late night shenanigans. Travel light because you will need to carry everything 4 flights. The studio accommodates 3 for sleeping, but our adult son did not find the loft comfortable (too warm). The apartment is newly remodeled, very clean and inviting.

Fantastisk lejlighed med små mangler

Vi havde en fantastisk ferie i Splato 1 lejligheden. Lejligheden kunne ikke ligge bedre placeret og hvis man for vild i byen, fandt man altid vejen tilbage. Lejligheden er omringet af en masse lækre spisesteder og der er altid noget at finde. Da vi ankom var deres pic Gorana meget hjælpsom og super sød og kunne besvare alle spørgsmål vi havde. Der var meget lidt larm fra gaden om natten som man nemt kunne sove igennem, da de tætte vinduer tog det meste af støjen. Manglerne i lejligheden var minimale bl.a. vaskede vi tøj, men manglede enormt meget et tørrestativ når tøjet skulle tørre igen og derfor blev det hængt op omkring på stole for at kunne nå at tørre inden dagen var ovre. Derudover synes vi selv at vi havde for få håndklæder til 6 dage, især når vandet i badet nemt ryger udover kanten og man derfor skal bruge 1-2 håndklæder på at ligge ude foran badet, for at badeværelset ikke drukner i vand. Så små problemer. Alt i alt havde vi en super god ferie i lejligheden med en skøn, skøn udsigt.

Perfect spot in the best location!

We could not have asked for anything better. The apartment is right in the center of split and you really can’t beat the location. It had everything we needed and Anna was the best host! She gave us recommendations and little secrets about the town. We were so lucky to have found this place!!!

The location of this apartment is perfect, right in the middle of everywhere you'll want to be in Split. There is only a bed and a table for sitting, would be nice to have a lounge chair or couch. We stayed here for 6 days and loved it! The food in Split is amazing!

City break

Room slightly smaller than in the images, had everything you needed, we spent 7 days there & location wise was perfect. My only suggestion would be to anyone bringing a rental car don’t, there in no parking close by, I was told by the owner there was free street parking spaces nearby, this wasn’t the case, we had to use a car park which cost £18 per day for overnight parking & even that was full at times, I would have liked to have known this prior to booking. Other than that, great rustic studio apartment in the perfect location.

Très très bien placé!

Spacieux, propre, bien équipé, très bon lit, et emplacement super! La vue donne sur une place très agréable, mais du coup un peu bruyante certains soirs, heureusement y a le double vitrage! Par contre 4ème étage sans ascenseur, pas adapté pour les personnes à mobilité réduite!

Perfect Location with Old World Charm!

In the heart of the old city and in my opinion it was the perfect location to stay at. Close to everything and super convenient. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we didn't regret choosing it for our week-long stay. Pros - Location is absolutely perfect, walking traffic only below - Close to the sea all kinds of dining, shopping, and groceries - The apartment was clean, modern with old world stone walls - Great view of the square below with restaurants below - Easy walking distance to everything in and around Diocletian’s Palace - Comfortable ultra firm memory foam bed slept like a baby - Washer, dryer with soap in the apartment along with kitchen appliances Cons - The shower takes some time to get use to it so you don’t get water on the floor or run out of hot water - You have 4 flights, 58 stairs to climb if you stay on the top floor, minus 13 for the bottom apartment, good for us, but could be difficult with large luggage and people with health concerns - A little crowd noise below late at night as there is a bar close by, closing the windows fixes it - Small closet which doesn't allow you to hang clothes to easily, but it works - You will be so relaxed you sleep too much and miss your vacation...;-) I would definitely stay here again, host's were awesome!!

Emplacement parfait

L appartement est très bien situé. Il est en hyper centre, a coté d une place. Au 4eme étage (sans assenceur) avec du simple vitrage, nous sommes derangé par les couches tard quelque peu éméchés qui s imprivisent chanteur. Hors mis cela, l appartement est très jolie et dispose d une cuisine fonctionnelle, d un lave linge et de la climatisation. Prévoir environ 10min de marche pour arriver à la gare routière.

It was beautiful and right in the heart of the city!

We loved this place for our honeymoon. Great access to the city and the Riva. It was during the World Cup so it was a bit noisy outside but I think you should expect there to be a nightlife in the center of Split during the summer. Everything was very clean and we were thrilled with our experience. Only one note to long term travelers; there are narrow stairs that need to be used. If you have a lot of baggage or large bags, you will need to take a few trips. We were staying in Croatia for 2 weeks so we had a fair amount of stuff.

Great place in the center of the town

The location is incredible, you are in the center of the old town with the walking distance to all the historical places, vibrant food market and many wonderful restaurants. Apartment is small (one room) but what else do you need ? we had fresh sweet strawberries from the food market every day for breakfast, coffee downstairs in one of the many cafes and great fish / seafood for lunch and dinner. Both Jordana and Gorana were very helpful and quickly responded to any questions or requests we had. Highly recommend you stay here when visiting Split, we definitely will be back

Facilities were nice and upgraded although a few things could be better.

Lights over the bed would have been nice to have for reading at night. Chairs were quite hard and needed cushions if sitting for any length of time. Shower was not quite large enough and shower handle hook did not work. Must say though when we encountered problems they were handled immediately. I would suggest that garbage disposal be listed as what to do. We put it in small cans along walkway.

Cute place to stay!

This rental was in a perfect location in Split, everything was within walking distance. We loved the area and history that came along with it. The only problem was the shower. There was glass added to one side, but water still leaks out the front curtain. The shower is so tight that you have to hold the detachable shower head to wash/rinse yourself. (for us, not important enough to downgrade the star rating). We didn't think the location was loud and we never heard the restaurants nearby unless the windows were open. The air conditioner worked very well. We used the washer more than we thought and it helped cut back on laundry. Overall, great property I would highly recommend in a great town!

Exactly like the photos!

We highly recommend this apartment in the centre of Old Town Split overlooking the plaza. We loved the vaulted ceilings and authentic decor. The owner was very patient as we tried to find a parking spot where we wouldn't get towed (nearly impossible). Take a taxi or Uber! We really appreciated the air conditioners as the weather was very hot during our stay. Our only complaint was that the mattress was hard and uncomfortable and the shower head wouldn't stay in place. Other than that, we highly recommend it! Just a note to mention that climbing four flights of stairs can be a bit of a challenge after enjoying the amazing Croatian wine!!
