Gorgeous home down a quaint winding lane. We felt like we were in the country but were only a 7 min walk from pubs, grocery stores and buses. Loved the accommodation so much, we spent one night in having wine in front of the fire just enjoying the house vs. going into town. This is a very special place.

Beat house ever! Pictures do not do it justice.Wonderful location and hosts Julie and Dave were top notch,We could not have been more pleased. What a treasure.
The home was just incredible! It was so much more than we expected. We were so comfortable during a rainy stay that we didn't mind not being able to see the sites we had hoped due to a significant storm that hit the area. Julie, our host, was extremely helpful and made us feel so welcome!

Stay was great. We'll come back here
Beautiful location with beautiful outdoor terrace and beautiful garden. The kitchen and entire ground floor were also beautiful and fully equipped
The beds in 3 of the 4 bedrooms are too narrow and the sometimes lowered passages upstairs require constant attention
My family of seven (including an infant and toddler) thoroughly enjoyed staying at Ballyquirke House. The home was very comfortable and clean, well stocked with everything we needed and we had lots and lots of room to spread out during our down time. Outdoor yards and gardens were gorgeous and soothing. Many thanks to Julie for her support, warm welcome and for giving us so much local information.

A haven of peace and quiet.
We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet we experienced at Ballyquirke House. The house has a spacious interior and exterior. The rooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped with plenty of dining space. The lounges are very comfortable. Ballyquirke House feels like a welcoming home. It is only fifteen minutes drive to Spidal and the Wild Atlantic Way. Galway is a ten minute drive and Oughterard, Lough Corrib and the start of Conamara are only fifteen minutes west.
There was nothing that we did not like.

The location is perfect for all Ireland destinations, the property is better than I could’ve imagined the pictures and description don’t do it justice the manager was kind and helpful , I saw one comment about someone hitting their head on a door , there are a couple low doorways but they have signs and easy to adjust to

A little slice of heaven
Location was wonderful. Walking distance to village with nice pubs to eat in.
Very nice to arrive to coffee, milk, juice and snacks. Very helpful when traveling.
Home was very clean and comfortable.
We find that directions by pin location are a bit challenging. Addresses or more detailed driving instructions would help us.

Top!!!
Warm welcome by the property manager who were always available if there was anything. Super nice cottage, with enough space two living rooms and beautiful large kitchen, large garden. The place itself, Moycullen, surprisingly also had many facilities. Nice restaurants and pubs, supermarket still open until 22:00. All within walking distance.
My family will always treasure our time at Ballyquirke. The farmhouse and grounds are spectacular. Comfortable, updated, warm, and well-equipped. Julie and James were kind and welcoming hosts who accommodated us from the start. Owning an old home myself, places like this always have projects in progress or some things needing to be fixed, but the bones of the original house are amazing and the addition makes the house expansive. Traditional yet modern and unique above all. You are a short drive from Galway true but my family and I will trade that again for the walk up the little road to the village, waking up to the mist on the fields, having “coffee with the cows” across the stone fence, and of course spending time with Paddy and Poppy, the neighboring cat and dog. From breathing in the morning air to smelling the peat burning in the fireplace at night, you know you have the best of Ireland in Moycullen and at Ballyquirke.
