We had a fabulous week at Villa Durrell. The house is very comfortable, with lots of space for a family with 4 adult children. The pool together with large garden gave plenty of space for all of us. Perfectly situated for beach, tavernas and the bus route to and from Corfu town. Note: The house is a family home and when not let out is lived in for 7 months of the year.

The house had not been cleaned when we arrived and a some items were broken. We discussed if we should just move out but in the end stayed. Some items were fixed while we were there, but I did not want work men in the house when on holiday. The main road at rush hour was noisy, but there is a little beach very close with a resturant which good.

Excellent place for vacation in Corfu

This is an excellent place for family vacation in Corfu. The property has everything one is looking for: it is spacious and clean, it has a wonderful garden with a pool, it is located close to Corfu-city, but in a quiet environment, there is a mini-market and a small restaurant nearby, and it is well serviced. For sure, we would like come back.

Lovely Villa

The villa is lovely and the well looked after Cleaned mid mid week and someone there every day to clean pool and garden which is fabulous We had a great time and was easy walking distance to the marina with great bars and restaurants and a short taxi ride to corfu town

Gorgeous villa that was home from home with beautiful outdoor space and in a fantastic position. Very well equipped kitchen. A little dated decor in the bedrooms and en-suite but the villa has a lovely charm . Even the fruit trees in the garden gave us fresh lemons and limes

Its been an incredible week for us! Thank you! Five stars*****. Nice location in a quiet neighborhood, near to almost everything: beach, shops, tavernas, etc. Its about an 11-minute drive to Corfu so very convenient for the airport. We are still here and cant wait to re-book with Agni Travel.

We were really pleasantly surprised. The living room and the kitchen were very well-equipment and comfortable. The beds were also comfy. Most of the time, we spent in the outdoor area, swimming in our private pool, sunbathing, talking with the rest of our group, and preparing meals. The terrace was so private and perfect for our morning breakfast. Also, the sea was several steps from the door! Always guaranteed superb standard of accommodation with this company - have not once been disappointed after seven holidays with them. Thanks a lot for everything!

We had a lovely holiday, the outside area and pool are lovely. Good washing facilities in the garage and various toys which the children enjoyed. Beach, shop and several restaurants in walking distance along with Gouvia marina. We appreciated the extra hour on leaving day though the housekeeper arrived at 8.20 am. We only had one day when neither the owner or housekeeper called in! There was no high chair but the owner brought a new booster seat one on the second day. We really enjoyed our holiday at Villa Durrell.

The villa was very nice and our stay was enjoyable. Did have a couple of issues1. Having to chase up fresh towels and after about a week or so were replaced. 2. Continually chased for the bedding to be changed which was finally changed 2 night before we left (13 night stay).The issue was due to their being new cleaner's and due to the issues apparently will now not be retained so others will not experience this going forward.3. The pool had a 3 inch green line above the water line when we arrived which whilst a little unsightly did not effect usage/enjoyment etc. That was until all our swimwear was stained green after using the pool. More chemicals were added but by the time we left it was still the same. The response was prompt but can only assume the chemicals needed time to sort out the issue.Aside of the pool of course I would be concerned if i had a young family or elderly people given the spiral staircase which needed a lot of concentration to go up and down (probably mentioned in the property details).Also whilst we found the 2 cats delightful and a joy to see them in the garden etc. If you don't care for cats then this is not for you. Like i say we loved them there so not an issue.

Really great villa. I do not have enough good words to describe this wonderful property. For our family, it was a special villa with all the trimmings; clean, spacious, and modern. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated as was the nice pool and the covered terrace for meals. It is next to the beach! Nearby are also a lot of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. We liked their local wines and you must try them. The owner is friendly and really helpful. Our requests were met with a high level of efficiency and speed even on a Sunday night! Definitely, we will go again.

Villa Durrell was very nice. It was spacious, and cozy and had more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, a pool everything! Well laid out with plenty of space for 7 people. Most of our time we spent at the terrace and the pool and enjoyed a nice time there: swimming, sunbathing, having meals, playing cards, etc. Plus is that it was situated in a nice quiet neighborhood, near to the sea! We highly recommend this property!

Villa Durrell was excellent, spotless, modern, and roomy, with everything you could need for a pleasant holiday. Also a wonderful swimming pool just for us! We spent some time at Gouvia beach entraining ourselves with different activities: relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. The owner waited for us on our arrival day and he and the agents were there for everything that we needed all the time which make our holiday unforgettable. Nice and friendly locals. We enjoyed their hospitality and their help in pointing the directions, places to visit, and recommendations of local specialties to try. I hope we will come back very soon.

All was perfect!!! Villa Durrell was very clean with lots of space, nice bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with lots of dishes, plates, glasses, etc. It was a really great experience to have a private pool in these surroundings and to have a chance to relax in your own private villa. The villa was set in an absolutely beautiful location near the sea. While we were there we also visited Dassia and Ipsos and spent a wonderful time there. Very impressed with the level of contact from the company before, during, and after our holiday. Thank you!

Characterful Greek Villa with Lovely Garden and Pool

We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed with the level of kitchen equipment, including a dishwasher that did not work and no hot water in the kitchen. We enjoy our cooking and feel that it was really only intended for basic meals on the assumption that most people eat out. The back door in the fence to the beach was locked and we had to walk the long way round, so not great for our elderly mother. The garden is really beautiful and we enjoyed the pool. Agni Travel were only prepared to offer us a small discount on a future holiday in return for the problems that we experienced.

Entspannender Urlaub - kleine Schwächen

Sehr schöne Außenanlage; klasse Pool. Inneneinrichtung könnte zweckmäßiger sein. Stühle am Esstisch und Sofa durchgesessen. Kaffeemaschine völlig verkalkt. Nur lauwarmes Wasser. Backofen teildefekt. Von der Agentur hat sich niemand blicken lassen; auch nie auf Mails geantwortet. Insgesamt aber 2 sehr schöne Wochen verbracht. Bleibt als Wermutstropfen, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht so ganz stimmt.

Perfect for a tranquil break and relaxation. The quiet neighborhood and the beach proximity were the things we liked the most at Villa Durrell. Villa was perfect (as always with Agni) and with absolutely no issues. It was spotlessly clean & well presented. Bedrooms are a good size, with plenty of storage space. Nice spacious outside area with garden, private pool, and terrace. Villa is in a very peaceful and private location only a 10-minutes walk from the bustling center of Kontokali which really comes alive each evening, with a huge choice of restaurants shops, supermarkets, and entertainment. We loved alternating days between exploring different places and beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. Nice spend time at Sotiriotissa and Gouvia beach where we enjoyed tasting local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. We had a nice holiday at the villa and Kontokali and we will be returning again. Much gratitude to everyone that helped book and look after us before and during our stay.

Best holiday ever and well use Agni Travel every year. Great villa with an even better location, right in front of the beach. There is a nice space outside to relax and eat dinner and enjoy the pool during the day. The villa offered a beautiful pool and excellent outdoor space. We liked the morning and evening cool sea breeze while having our breakfast and dinner at the terrace and upper balcony. We will miss all that feeling and enjoyment. We are definitely coming back to this heaven.

We had a wonderful time on Corfu - it is truly an idyllically beautiful island with stunning turquoise seas white cliffs olive groves and a host of excellent tavernas. We stayed in the most beautiful Villa Durrell, with even the best location in Kontokali. The location is excellent only a 5 min minute walk to the sandy beach. The villa and surroundings are exactly as seen in the photos and even exceeded the high expectations we had before booking the villa. The property felt very private and quiet. The property was also well maintained and clean. The nearest beach, which is in front of the villa, is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for long walks, swimming, and snorkeling. The villa itself has a grand feel while still being very comfortable. It had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was fully equipped and we used the barbecue most of the time. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us in close proximity to everything. The agents and staff of Agni were very nice and helpful and helped us with everything during the whole process. If youd like to enjoy some peace and quiet with warm sun and beautiful waters, this is the place to go! We are already planning our next trip to Corfu and would definitely recommend Villa Durrell!

If you want a villa in a quiet location with spectacular views and near to the beach then this is the right one for you. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully kept with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We also had maid service twice during our 10-day stay. In Kontokali, there are several excellent restaurants, bars, and shops. Everywhere we went we were made to feel welcome and everyone was very helpful and polite. Agni Travel made the process of renting the villa easy and detailed. They were in contact with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok which it was. We will definitely be going back in the very near future.

This villa is set in an absolutely beautiful location near to the sea. The location is very quiet and private and you are not overlooked. All the bedrooms, the kitchen/dining room, lounge, and other amenities were just perfect. The villa itself has everything you need for a relaxing getaway holiday. We have visited many different villas in Corfu over the past 13 years but the Villa Durrell is definitely the best. We have already booked for July and September next year. There are several restaurants, tavernas, and bars nearby (within walking distance). Also, near to other local shops and a bakery for day-to-day supplies and close to Corfu Old Town. You need only a 10-15 minute drive to Corfu Old Town and to a wide selection of bars, cafes restaurants, and shops. Great holiday at Villa Durrell. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)
