The apartments Casa Banderas are located in a quiet area just 2 km from the old fishing village La Cala and the beach. Casa Banderas has beautiful gardens with a waterfall, spacious swimming pools, free to use fitness center, paddle tennis, children's playground and sauna. There is also a free to use relaxation room next to the pool with a terrace with bar and two barbecues. From the apartment and pool you can enjoy the beautiful views of the valley, the mountains of Mijas and the Mediterranean Sea.
The apartment is modernly furnished and equipped with all comforts. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a modern open plan kitchen with all necessary appliances. The apartment has 2 terraces, 1 on the northeast and 1 on the southwest so there is always a place in the sun, or just in the shade. The terrace near the living room has views of the valley and the mountains of Mijas and the terrace near the kitchen has beautiful sea view.
The Casa Banderas complex is not a holiday resort, but a residential complex with apartments for permanent residence. Some flats are also rented out for holiday purposesn by the owners. Both owners and tenants/visitors are required to follow the rules for rest and relaxation, both in the flat and in all indoor and outdoor communal areas. There is permanent surveillance to enforce the communal rules.
The accommodation is very suitable for families with children. The quiet location in the luxury resort Casa Banderas and the proximity of beach, golf and the beautiful fishing village La Cala with all its facilities guarantee a relaxing holiday in Spain with family or friends.

The apartment has 2 terraces, 1 on the northeast and 1 on the southwest so there is always a place in the sun, or just in the shade. The terrace near the living room has views of the valley and the mountains of Mijas. This is the ideal place for a delicious breakfast at the dining table with 6 chairs or to relax with a book on the corner lounge sofa. Also the terrace near the kitchen has an awning. the resort has beautiful gardens with palm trees, lawn and a waterfall there are 2 outdoor swimming pools (not heated) with sunbathing area, outdoor showers and sun beds. at the main pool you will find a comfortable relaxation area. here you will also find the well-equipped fitness center with sauna. at the resort there is also a children's playground with a paddle court next door. (the playground and paddle court are at some distance from the apartment so you will not experience any noise)

Update: The outdoor pools are normally open - however outside high season they may close them in case of bad weather, demand, draught messures / maintanance etc. The sunbeds are useable but without cushions. You have to bring your own pool towels. (they can be rented through our office as well). The spa/ indoor pool remain closed until further notice.

A great stay overall. The apartment was comfortable, quiet, practical, clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable with quality pillows. We enjoyed playing Padel and used the pools and gym quite a bit. Staff at reception friendly and helpful. Downsides- a bit far to walk down to La Cala in the heat (not so much walking there, but getting back) so we drove everywhere but probably easy enough to get a taxi if you don’t have a car.

We enjoyed playing Padel and used the pools and gym quite a bit. Staff at reception friendly and helpful. Downsides- a bit far to walk down to La Cala in the heat (not so much walking there, but getting back) so we drove everywhere but probably easy enough to get a taxi if you don’t have a car. Only a couple of niggles. Paid 50 Euros for a welcome pack and the contents were not great and would have cost no more than 20. I don’t mind paying a bit more for the convenience but this felt cheap. Next, some other guests put their towels on sun loungers at 10am and left them there all day which is a bit annoying as there were not enough. There are signs saying not to do it but these were ignored.

Regarding the grocery pack, shopping costs are actually quite expensive and we even bought quite a few more items than the list we sent previous to you booking the grocery pack, which showed the exact contents of the pack before you requested to book it. (email 4 April). Please take in consideration that a member of staff also needs to drive to supermarket, spent time in there, drive to the apartment to deliver it. So adding that to the actual shopping price, it is not even beneficial but just offered as a courtesy we offer for late arrivals. I trust you understand. We hope to welcome you back. Heerlijk appartement! Goede ligging, lekker dichtbij supermarkt en dorp van La Cala. Auto wel noodzakelijk. Prachtig complex en lekker rustig gelegen. 2 terrassen en een electrische bbq wat erg fijn was! Begeleiding voor en gedurende boeking was ook top!

Wat een prachtig appartement is het zeg, voorzien van alle (moderne) apparatuur. De accommodatie is redelijk nieuw en prachtig gelegen tegen de heuvels van La Cala met verschillende uitzichten aan de voor- en achterzijde. De ligging is ideaal voor uitstapjes naar Malaga en Marbella. Het is de 2de keer dat we via Costa Andalucía Holidays S.L. hebben geboekt en we hebben het 2 keer als zeer prettig ervaren. We hopen nog een keer terug te komen!
