This is a terrific apartment at the top of the hill with a great view of the sea. Walk down the main street and you will arrive at the historic center with lots of restaurants and many sights. Also the beachfront which was a very nice place to walk.Claudia is an excellent host. Very quick to respond to any questions and helpful in providing a microwave that we requested. We did not have good weather for our stay, so the apartment was really appreciated as a place to relax and read, fix our own meals when it was windy and rainy. Deco is a gourmet supermarket so it was easy to purchase supplies and good food.Just one bit of advice ...Cefalu in general is on a very steep hill. If you have any physical limitations, it's a long arduous walk back up to the apt. after being in the historic center. Also, it is very difficult to park downtown so we found eating out rather hard logistically.The parking area that is available with the rental is behind the building and is in terrible shape, huge potholes, very difficult to maneuver into and out of. All in all, a nice, roomy apartment with lots of light.

Great location and outstanding views

A very good position just out of the old town. Within 8 minutes walk to the beach, 5 minutes walk into the very pretty old town, with lots of restaurants. We had a car but the train station is nearby so not strictly necessary.

The apartment was as described and better. The views from the window were amazing, perfect place to watch the sunset. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. This rental was very relaxing, the view of the city and the sea are amazing. It had everything we needed to recharge during a long vacation. The kitchen was well equipped, the washer was a great luxury for a traveler, and you could walk to anywhere in the city so it was great for exploration. The host was very helpful and available if we had any questions. Would definitely recommend this so anyone staying in Cefalu.

Amazing apartment

We stayed here with my daughter as an end of exams trip away. The appartment was ideal, a brilliant location, and the views were magnificent. Claudia was an ideal host, lots of information on arrival and easy to contact. Everything we needed for our stay was available. Cefalu was much more than we expected, lots of different places to eat and everything within walking distance. The beach was perfect, lots of space & sand, easy swimming. Busy at the weekend though! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay

Claudia's son - Giovanni managed all the check in details and was always available for any queries but never intrusive. We had such a good week. The apartment is exactly as described on the website and does have the most beautiful views across the city to the ocean. Sunsets are stunning. Giovanni suggested a few activities we may have been interested in and we followed all his suggestions - all well worthwhile. The apartment is just outside the old town so very handy to everything. We particularly enjoyed the easy access to the beach for a morning swim and the many attractions we were able to see on foot. We also caught a local bus (also as suggested by Giovanni) to a small hilltop town - and spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around there. The walk up "La Rocca" is challenging (both of us in our late 60's) but manageable - amazing views from the top and interesting history. Thank u Giovanni and Claudia for a very memorable stay

Wir waren 7 Tage in Cefalú und haben das Appartement sehr sehr genossen . Die Aussicht ist phänomenal, die Wohnung sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos und wir durften den Parkplatz sogar länger nutzen . Wir werden es auf alle Fälle wieder buchen wenn wir wieder in Cefalú sind. Danke für alles!!!

Superbe vue sur Cefalu

La propriété est très bien située, la vue est magnifique et Claudia nous a grandement aidé pour trouver un stationnement à petit prix. Cependant, l’annonce sur VRBO ne mentionne pas, dans sa version française des frais supplémentaires de ménages de 55 euros ce qui cause un réel désappointement. Un point qui pourrait être amélioré à peu de frais est la table et les chaises dans la pièce centrale.

diese Wohnung lebt von der Terrasse und dem damit verbundenen Blick auf Cefalu, den Felsen und das Meer. Die Wohnung ist für 4 Personen recht klein. Eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern geht vielleicht, aber 4 Erwachsene haben vorallem ein Betten-Problem. Es gibt ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett, welches in den Bildern jedoch 2x mit unterschiedlichen Dekorationen aufgenommen wurde. 2 weitere Schlafmöglichkeiten sind ein Einzelbett, sowei eine sehr unbequeme Schlafcouch. Außerdem wurde uns nach Buchung aber vor der Anreise noch mitgeteilt, dass eine Reinigungsgebühr i. H. v. 55,00 € zu entrichten sei. Das haben wir jedoch abegelehnt, und angeboten von der Buchung zurück zu treten, da dies mit keinem Wort auf dem Inserat ersichtlich war. Man hat uns dies Gebühr dann nicht berechnet.

Überrascht von dieser Bewertung, weil Kunden mir geschrieben haben, dass alles gut gelaufen ist und dass sie einen schönen Urlaub hatten.Die Beschreibung und Fotos der Wohnung geben die Größe und die Möglichkeit der Anzahl der Personen, die untergebracht werden können, genau wieder. In der Beschreibung des Hauses wird deutlich angegeben, dass die Wohnung aus einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, einem Schlafzimmer mit Einzelbett und einem Doppelschlafsofa besteht. Letzteres ist also für zwei Personen und nicht nur für eine Person. Ich sollte hinzufügen, dass sich noch nie jemand über irgendwelche Unannehmlichkeiten beschwert hat.Darüber hinaus ist es meine richtige Angewohnheit, meinen Kunden alle notwendigen Informationen zum Check-in vor der Ankunft zu geben und an alle zusätzlichen Kosten zu denken, die auch in der Beschreibung deutlich angegeben sind und in der Wohnung kostet. Im vorliegenden Fall berichtete der Kunde, dass er diese zusätzlichen Reinigungsgebühren nicht kannte und nicht zahlen wollte, aber ich wurde von VRBO darüber informiert, dass er im Falle einer Stornierung der Reservierung durch den Kunden eine hohe Stornogebühr zahlen müsste , aus meiner größten Freundlichkeit und um den Kunden zu erleichtern, habe ich seine Reservierung dennoch akzeptiert.

Overall the property was pretty good and when we had a problem with the hot water, Vincenzo sorted it out very quickly. For us, we probably made the wrong selection for a stay of 9 days as we prefer to stay in a rural location. But really close to walk to the old centre.

Perfect place to stay in Cefalu!

Nothing but GREAT things to say about this property. I stayed there for 1 week. 12 minute walk to Piazza del Duomo. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with more items... kitchenwares, etc.... than anyone would probably need. The wifi worked perfectly. Not sure if it is always available but private, safe parking (for a small fee) was provided. And the view from the large balcony was just outstanding.... exactly as shown in the listing. It is a top-floor unit so no sound issues from above! The property owner was excellent to work with; very responsive. Can't say enough great things about this property!!

In Cefalù to learn Italian

Great location and phenomenal view. Our only mishap was finding the address in the dark on foot from the train station. Wish we would have had a phone number so we could have communicated easier and been met outside the building. We were lucky to get help from another resident. All in, great experience!
