Casa Filo Verde is built in 2020 in a scenic seaside setting, where the accommodation is chic and comfortable, lying in the heart of Plakias village within direct access to amenities, therefore there is no need to rent a vehicle to go swimming, shopping or dining. The ground floor consists of a kitchen and living room with direct access to the patio with a dining table and a pool area (with a separate children’s pool). Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and balcony are found on the first floor, while a third one is found on the ground level. Casa Filo Verde can accommodate up to 7 guests and is ideal for holidaymakers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the popular tourist resorts in south Crete. If you love spending time in the great outdoors, there are many natural beaches with fine golden sand and clear waters ideal for snorkelling and diving. Whether you want to explore the broader area or cool off in the pool, this holiday getaway offers a variety of activities in a quaint seaside village that exudes a relaxing holiday setting. Casa Filo is located in Plakias, a seaside village settled in South Crete, an ideal holiday destination for guests seeking total relaxation. The village lies in front of the inviting waters of the Libyan Sea with numerous local tavernas and cafes line the promenade where you can enjoy lunch overlooking the sea. Plakias is an ideal destination to enjoy the glorious summer temperature, many picturesque untouched villages and pretty pebbled beaches. The unspoiled breathtaking landscape of Plakias is within close proximity to the gorges of Prevelli, Kourtaliotis and Kotsifos, ideal terrains of hiking and biking. The area guarantees an ultimate beach holiday; Souda, Ammoudi, Ammoudaki, Damnoni, Schinaria are the closest beaches worth visiting. There is a frequent bus connection from Chania — Rethymnon – Heraklion. Plakias is situated directly on the south coast of Rethymnon, approximately 30 kilometres from Rethymnon town.

A car is necessary for your transportation. We can also organize a transfer in order to come to the villa and the day after rental cars can be delivered at the property (extra charge)

This is a house and not a hotel, so please treat the property with respect as if it was your own :)
1. You can arrive at your accommodation after 15:00 on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 11:00 on the Departure Date. But in any case if you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the mentioned hours feel free to contact us and we will fulfill your request if the villa is available with no extra cost. If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so you may not be able to gain access to the Property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and you have not contacted us, we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not enter the property or stay overnight in the property. Any kind of Party for more than the people staying in the property must be informed prior booking the villa, which in some cases it might not be accepted and if accepted extra charge might apply. In case you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancelation of the booking by you and we shall be under no obligation to refund you for any fees already paid to us in those circumstances. Any refund will be at our sole discretion

3. Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint it is important that action is taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) for us to resolve difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified. In particular, complaints of a transient nature(example: electric power issues, warm water is out etc.) cannot possibly be investigated unless you will let us know as soon as possible whilst you are in residence.
Also after staying in the property for 48 hours and we have not received any message or email from you about any broken facilities/amenities in the property, we will hold the guest responsible for any damages caused and must be paid or replaced by the guest on spot.

4. Smoking is Not allowed in the properties so we request all of our guests not to smoke in the properties but to smoke outside on the exterior areas such us by swimming pools, balconies, verandas, patios or terrace

5.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaning and linnen change is done every 3/4 days.
In case you wish for the villa to be cleaned more often, it’s possible for an extra charge.

6. Hot Tub/bathtub: No children under the age of 5 permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival therefore it may not be warm until later that evening.

7. Pool: The pool is not covered, built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization EOT. Parents have full responsibility for supervision of their minor children No children under the age of 12 permitted the pool at any time without adult supervision. When using the pool, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.

8. Tenants agree to respect the property. In case of any damage that will be made, the tenants will have to pay the cost on the spot and before leaving the villa

9. The owner agrees to provide a clean home, cleaned just before the arrival of tenants. Cleaning is done by us, changing towels and bed linen is included in the price

10. The lead guest (the oldest member of the group) must be at least 21 years old.

11. Please respect the quiet hours from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
