Nice place

Overall nice place. Once you park your car, best not to move it. However, 1/2 hr walk to town we enjoyed but not for everyone.

Beautiful Apartment/ Beautiful view

We had a wonderful 4 days at the Postcard1 property. The view from the balcony is indeed a postcard. The property has everything that you need for a great stay. Serena was very responsive in making our stay comfortable.

Much better than a postcard

Exactly as the title, the actual view is much better than what shown on the property pictures. Furthermore Serena is very friendly and nice host. She even arranged a car to take us to the train station when our taxi canceled the pickup due to whatever reasons.

Wonderful !

Fiumelatte is also lovely quiet neighborhood about 30 minutes (walking time) from busy Varenna. The views of the lake were stellar! The property is just as listed with a great little well stocked kitchen, 2 roomy bedrooms and nice bathrooms with showers. Also appreciated the clothes washer. It was so nice sitting on the balcony. Serena was AMAZING! We arrived later then planned because of the mudslide ( trains were not running during our stay)….she met us at the dock and drove us to the apartment. One of the best properties I have every rented thru VRBO.

Superior views

The Postcard apartment has unparalleled views of Lake Como and convenient free nearby parking. The host,Serena, was outstanding in helping us arrive and checking us in.She alerted us regarding the road closure just south of the apartment and sent us alternate driving directions. The apartment was spacious and there was ample hot water. Our bed was comfortable but could have used some extra light blankets.The extra blankets were extremely heavy.Blankets were necessary since the heating system was turned off. Our only negative comment pertains to the nightime noise we encountered.One night we had a party group in a nearby apartment; they sounded like screaming hyenas right up to midnight.The second evening people above our apartment kept scraping chairs between 2:00 and 3:00 in the morning.Light sleepers are well advised to use earplugs when sleeping here.

Wundervolle Aussicht

Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen mit traumhafter Aussicht auf den Comer See. Kommunikation und Schlüsselübergabe hat hervorragend funktioniert. Vielen Dank, Serena Whirlpool wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt, ist aber leider nicht vorhanden. Parkplätze direkt vor der Unterkunft. Straße vor dem Haus auch nachts stark befahren und laut.

Beautiful place, a must see.

Nice spacious two bedroom with two full bathrooms, large living /dinning area with a beautiful view of Lago de Como. Not to mention the host was very helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely visit again!

Our stay

The view was exceptional. Great amenities. One bathroom with washer smelled bad. Fan in bedroom was a little noisy. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
