7 bedroom annexe to former Victorian farmhouse, spacious & family friendly
Situated on the edge of Exmoor and forming part of a large former farmhouse, which is now occupied as a family home, the Annexe offers self-catering accommodation with all the comforts of home in a private village setting. There are onsite woodlands and direct access to the countryside via a public bridleway that runs alongside the village. The Annexe forms part of the Blackerton Ecocentre, which is an ongoing renovation project run by the Blackerton Ecocentre Community Interest Company. The annexe is being let for the first time in 2021, with renovations to some of the bathrooms and decoration of the outside of the building planned for early 2022.

We had a great stay for my Dads 70th birthday. Lots of space for the price. We ranged from 7-70years old. 16 of us. They’re trying to make the outside space nicer which will be great when it’s completed. Comfy beds. Kitchen was great with a massive table for us all to sit round. Good value for money. Thanks for helping us celebrate my Dads 70th.

The accommodation was perfect for our needs. The house is spacious, tidy and well equipped. We have not socialised much in the last 18 months and wanted somewhere to be able to get together without being on top of one another, as booked at a time we were unaware if further restrictions would impede other usual options. We all had a wonderful 2 night stay to celebrate a friend's birthday in a comfortable environment. The owners were friendly and helpful throughout the process. The accommodation was instrumental in the success of the overall celebration - could not be happier with my choice.
Victoria and Jake are the best hosts, with unambiguous instructions on arrival and detailed documents for how everything works. They provided a very comfy stay for us.
The bedding was top quality- soft and fluffy. It was beautiful to wake up and to look out to the Exmoor park in the distance.
The space inside of the property is vast, with plenty to do for everyone. Children particular enjoyed claiming up and down the three tiered bunk bed.
All in all, great stay and wonderful host.
