Beautiful Introduction to Zakynthos
My girlfriend and I started our first stay on the island here. We are very low-key, off the beat and path type people, so Daphne's Villas were a great stop. These villas are about 40 years old with all the original infrastructure still intact. They have charm, great hosts, and are on a large piece of property that resembles paradise. It was quiet, relaxing, and close to 3 great beaches, all within about 15 minutes apart from each other. In addition, we found great food options and bars that were no more than 20 minutes away.However, if you plan on booking here, be prepared to have doors that have small gaps under then along with windows that do not have screens. We were unwilling to open the windows and doors in the evenings because of this small detail as we despise mosquitoes. We resort to AC which we would have wanted to avoid since every night there was beautiful!
