Chalet 48 - Holiday home with pool near Nassfeld and many lakes

Our vacation home is located in the picturesque village of Jadersdorf in the Gitschtal Valley, Carinthia.<br>This southern region of Austria offers sunny, warm summers and winters with plenty of snow. It’s the perfect year-round vacation destination.<br><br>At Chalet 48, we offer 4 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with two single beds, all with private bathrooms. The dining area seats 10, and the kitchen is fully equipped and includes children’s tableware sets. Our panoramic windows offer spectacular views of the mountains, and the living room provides direct access to the terrace. There’s a wood-burning stove to cozy up to during the winter season.<br><br>At Chalet 48, we have a game room with a pool table, dartboard, and a TV with a PlayStation 3, DVD players, and a Wii. Video games for all ages are included for the game consoles. The living room features a TV with a PlayStation 2.<br><br>The chalet has a private pool on the terrace; you can expect the pool temperature to range from 22–30 degrees. The pool is available from late May through late September. Includes a lounge set and sun loungers.<br>The terrace seats 10 people. From here, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views of the Gitschtal mountains. A barbecue is also available. (The BBQ is only available during the summer months.)<br><br>We can provide a travel crib and a high chair for those traveling with small children.<br><br>Free parking for up to 4 cars.<br><br>There is a ski storage room to store your skis and boots during the winter season. The room is not heated.<br><br>Summer activities:<br>Just 12 minutes away, you can swim and paddleboard in Lake Pressegger (the warmest lake in Carinthia at 28 degrees) and sunbathe at the beach areas.<br>We’re perfectly located for hiking in the Gailtal and Gitschtal valleys. You can reach the Weißenbachklamm on foot from the chalet. The Garnitzenklamm, the <br>Egger Alm, and Dellacher Alm are all just a few minutes away.<br>For those who want to enjoy a bike ride, you can cycle along the R3 and R3b trails, which start right outside Chalet 48. If you’re more of an adventurous cyclist, 950 km of mountain bike trails offer a truly unforgettable experience.<br>If you’re looking for an action-packed vacation, Hermagor and Nassfeld offer activities such as ATV riding, paragliding, canoeing, rafting, and much more.<br><br>Winter activities:<br>FREE SHUTTLE BUS STOPS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR. Ideally located for skiing at the Nassfeld Ski Arena (110 km of downhill skiing, just a 15-minute drive away). The beautiful Italian resort town of Tarvisio (with 33 km of downhill skiing and 55 km of cross-country skiing, a 40-minute drive). The Gitschtal/family resort of Weißbriach (30 km of cross-country skiing and 4 km of downhill skiing). The Nassfeld Arena also features 2 fun parks and a twin pipe for snowboard enthusiasts and offers several ski huts for some après-ski fun. You can go ice skating on the Weissensee (a 15-minute drive away), the largest frozen lake in Europe.
