Spacious but could be improved

The villa is spacious and only a c 15 mins walk from the town of Pollenca. However, when we arrived there was a strong musty smell throughout the entire villa, which did not fully go away even when we had the windows open for a long period of time. Pool was a good size and plenty of nice seating etc outside - pool was cold but this was to be expected given the time of the year. Good location from Pollenca (c. 15 mins walk).

Great location

Great stay at Can Vensala. Comfortable, reasonably well equipped, great location. A sofa style seating area outside would be very welcome!

Sommer Ferie 2019

Vi var 2 familier på tilsammen 8 personer som koste oss stort i dette huset. Vil nesten si at det var bedre enn bildene i annonsen viste. Vi var der i 14 dager, og om vi skulle pirke på noe så må det være.. 1)det kunne vært støvsugd i bassenget 1 til 2 ganger i denne perioden, derfor ble det bare 3 stjerner på renhold. . 2) Vi måtte forlate huset ganske tidlig kl. 10, og da kan huseieren vente til dette tidspunkt før de begynner og rydde rundt oss. Vi opplevde løvblåsing og rydding rundt oss mens vi spiste siste frokosten ute kl. 09.15. Men alt i alt så hadde allesammen en herlig ferie på denne flotte plassen.

Nice short break

We enjoyed a short break here, villa was lovely, clean with plenty of towels provided. It was too cold to use the pool but the outside areas are well maintained and we did enjoy eating lunch on the terrace, nice views of the mountains. Walked into the old town which took around 20 minutes. Would return and recommend to others.

Gemütlich aber ungepflegt

Leider sind wir nicht komplett zufrieden mit dieser Unterkunft gewesen. Der Garten und der Pool waren ok, wurden vom Nachbarn gepflegt! Leider war alles andere alt, klamm, ungepflegt und abgewohnt! Die Sofas im Wohnzimmer waren feucht und Klamm! Ungeziefer im ganzen Haus, Stockflecken auf allen Kissen und Liegen, Matratzen, Kopfkissen und Decken überaltert und einfach unappetitlich! Die Handtücher waren zwar frisch gewaschen, aber auch uralt und ausgeblichen! Im Schlafzimmer war die Steckdose oder die Lampe defekt! Der Putz fällt von der Decke und die Wände waren mit Stockflecken versehen! Summarum waren wir über die hygienischen Zustände sehr enttäuscht und würden dies Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen bzw. erneut mieten wollen!

Urlaub in der Finca voll genossen

Tolle Finca, Garten etwas klein, und der Aufenthaltsraum/Wohnzimmer dunkel und ältlich, haben wir beim dem Wetter aber nie benutzt. Ansonsten alles prima, besonders die Küche.

Wonderful stay, can’t wait to return

Five of us (four adults and one eleven year old) have just enjoyed two wonderful weeks at this villa near the beautiful town of Pollensa. Firstly, we can’t praise Pollenca enough - it is gorgeous, a web of intricate medical streets that can offer some relief from the intense sun as you wander the town. There are endless quaint shops, bars and restaurants all serving gorgeous food (loads of variety including traditional Spanish dishes). The villa was perfect - all rooms were spacious (apart from the 2nd indoor shower room, although it’s more than adequate). The only real improvement that could be made is to update the bed linen and inside bath towels (pool towels were fine). The kitchen is very well equipped, is again a good size space and has clearly just been updated with new units, granite worktops. The bedrooms all have very good sized built-in wardrobes (although they could do with airing). Again the lounge is a very good size although we didn’t actually use it once as we ate outside everyday and spent evenings talking by the pool. The rest of the furniture in the house is ideal although the elderly owners have a lot of nik-nak ornaments around the villa that we tidied away so as not to damage anything. The whole outside space is great and the views when lying on the sunbeds, stunning!! The shaded terrace area around half of the house is fantastic and perfectly positioned overlooking the pool area. The pool was in almost constant use over the two weeks and, although not heated, was very warm. We walked into Pollensa on numerous occasions from the villa (15-20 minute walk) but, although it’s all on the flat, it was a very hot walk (in the August 30• heat), and would be testing for little ones or the elderly. We ate a couple of times at the restaurant on the main road at the entrance to the lane to the villa - the service, price and food was very good. All in all a brilliant holiday and we are definitely looking to rebook this villa.

Lovely quiet villa , great views

Arrived and where met , very friendly dealt with a couple of issues promptly , pool clean , good air conditioning , village was 20 minute walk away , barbi was very useful , every utensil was there . Greated with a lovely welcome pack , but there is nothing else in the cupboards , no salt/pepper or soap in bathrooms etc this however is the norm for this area , so a bit of prep planning useful . My boys loved the ping pong table . Outside side seating area was also very comfortable, lour than enough space for 4 adults and 4 older teenagers .

Beautiful house. Lovely location

The house is well furnished with everything you could need. We didn’t walk into Pollença but it would take 20 /25 mins. Great location for exploring the gorgeous island. Stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountains.

perfectly located for peace and quiet, while remaining within walking distance to old town.

This villa is perfect for having your own slice of peace and quiet on holiday. Located off the main street, you are not overlooked at all and have the beautiful scenery surrounding you. Old town Pollenca is just a 15/20 minute walk. Would recommend the use of a car to have to ability to explore the island, the beaches, and head into Palma. The ability to have your own pool without having to share as you would do in a hotel is bliss. Inside the villa is spacious and does remain cool throughout the day if you keep windows shut, and at the night the aircon is just heaven to keep the bedroom cool. I deducted one star just on cleanliness, there were a few areas that needed slightly more attention in the kitchen and there were hairs left on the shower floor. But aside from that no complaints. Would definitely recommend.

Herrliche Lage mit etwas in die Jahre gekommener Finca

Die finca hatte eine herrliche ruhige Lage mit schlnem Pool. Die Verwalter waren sehr sehr freundlich und die Region Pollenca gefiel uns ausgesprochen gut. Zwei Sterne Abzug gibt es zum einen für die Sauberkeit der Finca und zum anderen für die etwas in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung. Es war alles etwas schäbig, aber für zwei Wochen gut auszuhalten.

Private Finca in quiet location with great outside space

Lovely Finca in private semi rural location just outside Pollensa. Great outside space and views. We enjoyed our meals outside and the pool area was great, although be aware that the pool is over 2m at deep end, although the children all enjoyed the pool with the younger ones wearing arm bands etc. Puerto Pollensa is easily accessible approximately 10-15 minute drive. Lido and Eroski 5 minute drive. Car required, especially with children in the heat. Comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 4 children. Accommodation was clean and basic but had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms could do with updating but this was our only criticism. The owners next door were very helpful and were there in 5 minutes when we ran out of gas. Our boys enjoyed playing table tennis. The DVD player was useful when the younger children needed a break from the heat. The covered terrace was perfect for enjoying meals in the shade. We enjoyed Bbq's and eating out in Puerto Pollensa. Air conditioning was available in all rooms and was useful at night. All in all a really relaxing holiday.

Beautiful property, very peaceful.

This is a really lovely property with a huge amount of space and which is very quiet and peaceful. Facilities are excellent with all you could possibly need. Stunning views across the mountains and great spot to explore mountains. While you can get away without a car, it does make life easier to have 1. Overall, a really great holiday

Beautiful property, great setting.

Great villa set in a stunning location with mountain views from the various sun terraces. Lovely quiet setting and yet only minutes from Pollensa Square. The villa was well equipped, clean and comfortable, however the second bathroom was quite small but very clean and the shower was great.The outside space and the pool were fantastic, our boys enjoyed the table tennis table every day and then cooled off in the lovely pool. Overall it was a wonderful holiday in a lovely villa and we would definitely book again with the managing company Villa Vida as they were very efficient and provided excellent service, thank you.

Sehr schöne gepflegte Finca in idyllischer Lage :-

Wir waren im April für eine Woche mit der Familie in diesem schönen Anwesen,daß wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen können.Es ist eingerahmt von Orangen-und Zitronenbäumen und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Altstadt von Pollenca,der Hafen und eine der schönen mallorquinischen Buchten befinden sich ganz in der Nähe .
