Right on the Lake! TWO BEDROOM, TWO BATH Private home with private, EXCLUSIVE docks for moorage right in front of the home. Enjoy the privacy. No strangers on the docks. Spectacular huge deck with a view of 15 miles of Lake Chelan. Located in a wind-sheltered area, so enjoy water sports and more time on the water. A great location on the sunny South Shore near the Lake Chelan State Park, only 15 to 20 minutes from the City of Chelan. The home faces due East, so there is no afternoon glare! Fully equipped for your perfect Lake Chelan Summer Vacation.

The home is fully equipped and often described as "comfy." It is a wonderful place for your relaxing vacation. It is full of books and antiques, and furnished with wicker and rattan. It is not "perfect. So, it would not pass a "white glove inspection." Though we have it professionally cleaned, someone who really looked could find dust behind some bookcases, the occasional cobweb or other minor defects. So come expecting a "lake cabin." You will be very pleasantly surprised that our home is much more. That is why we have received nearly all 5-star and a few 4-star ratings on VRBO.

The home has never needed air conditioning because we have a Whole House Fan that changes the air several times per hour and keeps it quite comfortable.

There are two flights of stairs leading down from the parking area to the house and two flights of stairs from the house down to the waterfront. There is a circular stairway leading up to the second floor. Therefore, the property is not appropriate for anyone who is mobility-impaired .

The waterfront is bedrock, like a natural seawall with two large docks and moorage rights for a boat on a third, adjacent dock.

Though we have never had a serious accident here, because the property includes high decks, deep-water entry, stairways, some without railings, and rocky paths that can be slippery, especially when wet, we ask our guests to sign our standard "Hold Harmless Agreement."

We charge a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee payable in CASH on arrival. That goes to our cleaning crew!

Also, please bring the FULLY-REFUNDABLE Security and Damage Deposit of $450 payable as a CHECK on arrival. We almost always return that full amount. We are not in the business of keeping deposits. We are in the business of providing a wonderful vacation place.

One pet is welcome (excluding aggressive breed dogs) for a non-refundable Pet Rent of $100 payable in CASH on arrival.

After you complete your booking process, please call us right away so that we can discuss the final details of your vacation. We can answer your questions and make suggestions to create a great vacation experience for you. We will want to exchange phone numbers and email addresses so that we can meet you at the property on time and direct you exactly where to park. Your GPS will not get you right to the home.

Check in time is 5 PM. Please do not come early as we will be preparing your home for you. If you arrive in the Chelan area early, we suggest you drive into the City of Chelan. There are many activities and attractions in the City. Then, if you leave Chelan at about 4:45 p.m. we will arrive at the house about 5 p.m. If you wish to come later than 5 p.m., that will be fine, just let us know.

There is parking for two vehicles off-street, near the house. Extra vehicles and any trailer must be parked in the turnouts along the South Shore Road a few hundred feet from the house. That is a common practice in the area.

There is excellent cellular signal at the home. At present, we do not have television or Wi-Fi. Our guests come here to get away from city distractions!

If you want to have a wonderful getaway, away from the crowds and the noise, you will love being in our home. During the evenings, you can see sit on the huge deck watching the stars come out and the moon shining a beam across the lake. You can enjoy the QUIET!
