Country villa in the hills near Seggiano, Tuscany.
Villa Chiugi has recently been renovated, and offers a fully equipped kitchen, spacious new bathrooms, and air conditioning throughout the house.
It is ideal for visiting Tuscany’s areas of interest, such as the Val d’Orcia and the Maremma. At the property you can relish nature’s quiet and peacefulness.
Access to the villa is via a 2,5 km stretch of unpaved road: the road is in good condition but is not suitable for sports cars or low riding vehicles.
Villa guests can enjoy the large private garden and private pool with panoramic views (12 x 6 meters; depth: 1,50 meters).
Outside there is also a lovely veranda furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining, and a barbecue.
In the house there is free Wifi internet, air conditioning throughout the villa, and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Guided nature tours showcasing the territory’s secrets can be arranged upon request.

Distances: Seggiano (food shops, minimarket, restaurants, bars, bank) 4 km away, Monte Amiata 11 km, Bagno Vignoni 20 km, Montalcino 25 km, Pienza 33 km, Montepulciano 50 km, Siena 65 km, Lake Bolsena 70 km, Castiglione della Pescaia (sea, Tuscan coast) 90 km away.

We can't say enough good things about our stay. The home and the property are amazing. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, and the pool is spectacular. The whole house is perfect. And the setting is unbelievable. Communication was great leading up to our stay and Maurizio was a great on site manager. Check in was fun and easy, and Maurizio was readily available the whole time, with excellent tips about the local restaurants and logistics. The perfect get away stay in Tuscany. Villa Chiugi was an incredible place to stay. Surrounded by the serene beauty of the Italian countryside, the villa's pool area and balconies made for the perfect spot to unwind and take it all in. Maurizio went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, from sharing local tips and making restaurant reservations to ensuring the entire place was spotless when we arrived. Seggiano is a fairly small town so you'll likely find yourself going to Castel del Piano / Montepulciano / Montalcino for more restaurants & the supermarket but it's a very charming area. The villa itself is a perfect mix of classic Tuscan charm with a modern touch, offering plenty of space and a fully stocked kitchen that has absolutely everything you could need. Highly recommend!

This villa is beautiful, but it is remote. If you want a private and peaceful stay in a gigantic modern Tuscan villa then this is for you. Just know that there is nothing around you for miles but magnificent views, singing birds, olive groves and vineyards. Our host Maurizio was helpful and responsive, providing us everything from local restaurant recommendations (he even called and booked on our behalf) to an impromptu tour of a local cantina where we tasted wines from a micro producer. We were a little unlucky with the weather while we were visiting which meant we didn't get as much use of the pool as we would have liked, but I imagine on a warm and sunny day you could spend most of your time out on the deck. The towns of Seggiano and Castel Del Piano are 10 and 20 mins respectively by car for your supplies and dining out. Overall I highly recommend this place for families or larger groups looking for peace and quiet, just make sure you pick a week when the sun is out

Beautiful view and a stunning property. The road was better than I had expected from other reviews. It is a little isolated for those who want to be near a good sized town, however it was peaceful and private (other than the on site housekeeper who was there every day) It was generally clean although we had to rewash some bedding. Not quite a five star but could be with a little more attention. Pool deck and area was top class. Excellent condition and very clean (was cleaned daily by the house keeper) The bedding and towels were old and worn and there was only one set of bedding per room which meant lots of laundry. If only they could go to ikea and buy a few newer sets of bedding.1 shower door was broken, otherwise ok. Maurizio was there to fix anything that was broken.

The villa, property and views are gorgeous. Access to the villa is via very poorly maintained gravel roads with deep ruts that damaged our rented Volvo V60. Kitchen appliances were not all in working order. Glass stovetop had been broken by prior renters. We were given three electric burners, of which two did not work for the first three days. These were replaced. Wine chiller was broken. There was no panini press as pictured on the website photos. Maurizio, the property manager was extremely helpful and supportive. He came almost everyday making sure all was good. A very lovely man!

Die Villa Chiugi ist in vielen Punkten traumhaft, insbesondere durch die atemberaubende Lage in den Weinbergen/Olivenhainen, die Weite und die Sauberkeit der Räume und durch den ausgesprochen freundlichen und persönlich involvierten Gastgeber Maurizio. Die Zufahrt ist mit den Schotterstraßen und der kaum vorhandenen Beschilderung im Dunkeln durchaus herausfordernd.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ein Traum. Der Weg zur Villa ist je nach Auto etwas schwieriger, aber sollte machbar sein. Maurizio hat unsere Fragen sofort beantwortet und die Anliegen ernst genommen. Er ist wirklich ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Villa ist sehr sauber und ein grosser Vorteil ist, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und es stehen genügend Liegenstühle zur Verfügung. Die Küche ist extrem gut ausgestattet, hat sehr viel Platz und ist ebenfalls sehr sauber. Sehenswert ist der atemberaubende Sonnenuntergang. Es gibt wirklich keinen negativen Punkt bei diesem Haus, also sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten eine erholsame Woche in der Casseta del Chiugi. Das Haus liegt wunderbar ruhig mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf die Landschaft. Der Pool hat eine tolle Größe und die Ausstattung des Hauses ließ nichts vermissen. Im kleinen Supermarkt in Seggiano (4km) kann man sich mit allem nötigsten ausstatten. In der Nähe sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Maurizio hat uns sehr nett empfangen und war auch während des Aufenthaltes sehr hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar. Lediglich die Anfahrt über die letzten zwei Kilometer ist sehr beschwerlich. Der Schotterweg ist sicher nicht mit jedem Auto befahrbar.

Wir wurden wunderbar von Maurizio empfangen. Er hat uns alles ganz in Ruhe erklärt und uns wirklich willkommen geheißen. Seine Tipps für die Gegend waren super, vom lokalen Metzger bis zum Geheimtipp für Olivenöl, wr hat uns immer viele tolle Ideen gegeben. Das Haus ist wirklich großzügig und für 8 Personen ausreichend. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und die Küche top! Wir hoffen, dass wir bald mal wieder hinkommen können.

Die Anfahrt ist etwas schwierig, weil das Haus sehr abseits gelegen ist und die Zufahrtswege ungepflastert sind. Die abgelegene Lage hat aber den Vorteil, dass es absolut ruhig ist. Der Verwalter des Hauses ist sehr hilfsbereit und für alle Probleme ansprechbar. Der Swimming Pool ist mit 12m Länge sehr gut zum Schwimmen geeignet. Für Kinder ist das Grundstück eher nicht geeignet, da es außer dem Pool keine wirklichen Möglichkeiten gibt, sich auszutoben. Zwar ist der Weg zum Haus selbst auf dem Grundstück gepflastert, aber der große Parkplatz ist mit Schotter ausgelegt und wenig z.B. zum Fußballspielen geeignet. Alle Einkäufe sind nur mit dem Auto möglich, es dauert zum Supermarkt in Seggiano ca. 15min. Wer die Ruhe sucht, ist hier allerdings bestens bedient. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist sehr geschmackvoll und funktionell. Der Fernseher ist sehr groß, mit einem Amazon account sind auch deutsche Sender wählbar.

Esperienza molto positiva in una struttura con capitolato e cura di alta qualità e ben gestita nei servizi da Maurizio che è un custode attento, disponibile che riesce a gestire le esigenze di un ambiente molto esteso con disponibilità, educazione e senza invadenza. Posto adatto a chi vuole vivere in ambiente tranquillo ed immerso nella campagna. L'accesso non è agevole perché c'è un breve tratto di sterrato ma ritengo che sia coerente con il contesto e non suscita problemi se è quello che si cerca. A pochi chilometri sono disponibili molti paesi che meritano di essere visitati e nel raggio di 5 km i servizi essenziali (market ben forniti, farmacie etc). Ottima nell'organizzazione degli spazi e nelle utenze disponibili, suggerisco una maggiore attenzione al ricambio di qualche banale accessorio tipo presine / apribottiglie che presumo siano i più "ambiti" dai visitatori e di cui però non si può fare a meno nella gestione ordinaria. Layout spazioso e finiture di pregio sia nelle opere murarie che negli arredi. La qualità dei materassi rivedibile. Ad esclusione della stanza principale in cui abbiamo dormito molto bene gli altri letti sono accettabili ma di un livello un pò inferiore a mio parere rispetto quello complessivo della struttura. Ottima visuale soprattutto al tramonto con vista sulle campagne aperte e ben curate. Pulizia ottima sia negli spazi interni che negli spazi esterni. Per quanto mi ritenga un cliente molto esigente ho trovato un ambiente all'altezza delle aspettative in tutte le aree sia quelle riservate agli adulti che quelle destinate ai più piccoli. Proprietà assolutamente coerente alla descrizione dell'annuncio. Eravamo 6 ospiti (4 < 12 anni) ed abbiamo trovato la giusta dimensione sia nella vasca che negli arredi a contorno. Per i più piccoli sarebbe molto attrezzato anche qualche piccolo accessorio tipo gonfiabili / trampolino etc ovviamente compitabile con la sicurezza e le esigenze degli ospiti più grandi. Spazi enormi, docce comode e ben funzionanti, lavandini capienti

Wunderschöne Villa, an der man überhaupt nichts aussetzen kann . Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben viele Ausflug-und Restauranttipps erhalten. Man muss allerdings beachten, dass der angegebene Schotterweg auch Schlaglöcher beinhaltet. Insgesamt kann ich die Unterkunft wirklich nur jedem weiterempfehlen!

Es ist ein wunderbares, grosszügig eingerichtetes Haus, ideal um abzuspannen und Erholung zu finden. Der Blick von Terrasse und Pool ist grandios. Wir waren zu Fünft eine Woche dort und hatten eine fantastische Zeit. Maurizio hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert: Vom Check-in bis zum check-out war er immer da, wenn wir irgendwelche Fragen hatten - Danke! Die Liegenschaft ist absolut ruhig gelegen, grandiose Aussicht und genügend Platz. Wer gewohnt ist auf Naturwegen zu fahren kommt auch problemlos zum Haus (wir haben für diesen Trip einen Audi A6 Competition gefahren). Maurizio ist ein prima Gastgeber und kümmert sich sehr gut um die Liegenschaft. Wir haben das Heizen des Pools getestet und empfehlen es nicht unbedingt. 1m3 Gas = ca. +1°C Temperatur. Da es keine Möglichkeit gibt den Pool abzudecken haben wir es aber nicht weiter genutzt. Wir haben wunderschöne Tage verbracht und empfehlen das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter.

Guten Tag, wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in der sehr schönen und hochwertig ausgestatteten Villa Chiugi. Die Villa wurde stilvoll renoviert und war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage im ganzen Haus war hilfreich bei der Wärme. Jedes Zimmer hatte ein bequemes Bett mit angenehmen und guten Matratzen, ein eignes Bad und einen Balkon mit schöner Aussicht und ausreichend Schrankplatz. Es gab ausreichend Handtücher für jeden und schöne weiße Bettwäsche. Das Wohnzimmer, welches wir aufgrund des schönen Wetters kaum benutzt hatten verfügte über schöne große Sofas, einen riesigen Fernseher und war stilvoll dekoriert. Die große renovierte Küche war wirklich toll ausgestattet inklusive großem Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfeln, Nespresso Maschine und Mikrowelle. Eine weitere Tür führte zum Grillplatz mit einem großen Webergrill. Die überdachte Terrasse war schön und neben dem Essplatz mit gemütlichen Lounge Sesseln ausgestattet. Der Weitblick von Terrasse, Balkon und Poolbereich war atemberaubend und jeder Sonnenuntergang ein Erlebnis. Der Poolbereich war schick, es gab ausreichend weiße verstellbare Liegen und auch dort nochmal einen Tisch mit Stühlen. Die Gartenanlage und der eignen Olivenhain waren sehr gepflegt. Der äußerst freundliche Service-Mitarbeiter Maurizio sah jeden Tag unauffällig und ohne zu stören nach dem Rechten, pflegte den Garten und reinigte den Pool. Auf Wunsch gab er einem Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants und brachte uns Wein und Tomaten aus eigener Landwirtschaft. Nach dem wir die Woche davor nahe Florenz gewohnt und einige Ausflüge und Besichtigungstouren unternommen hatten, war die totale Abgeschiedenheit und die Ruhe perfekt und unsere Familie war sich selbst genug. Man muss allerdings sagen, dass die Villa tatsächlich sehr abgeschieden und nur über eine echte Schotterstraße zu erreichen ist. Der größere Supermarkt ist knapp 15 Minuten entfernt. Es gibt einige Restaurants, aber mal eben ist nichts, auch kein Bäcker oder Café zu erreichen und schon gar nicht zu Fuß. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und können dieses Objekt sehr gut weiterempfehlen. MfG

Ein Traum, wenn jemand Ruhe sucht. Sehr schönes Schwimmbad, sehr schönes Haus im traditionellen Baustill mit modernen Akzenten und absoluter Privatsphäre und wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Maurizio kümmert sich im Hintergrund hervorragend um das Haus, Swimmingpool und das Wohlbefinden der Gäste . 5 Sterne
