Fabulous duplex mews home by Paddington Station.

My home is set over two floors. The entrance level is on the first floor (UK) of the building, twenty stairs from ground level. There is no lift (elevator).
The front door opens into the well equipped kitchen/dining area which has Miele appliances, including Miele washer/dryer; adjoining it is the comfortable living area. Spiral stairs lead up to the second level with a master bedroom, shower room and media room (the second bedroom). This media room opens onto a delightfully lush balcony with two chairs and table.

-The master bedroom has a UK King Size bed.
-The second bedroom has a UK King Size sofa bed with a Memory Foam Mattress Topper.
-The pillows are a choice of down filled or memory foam.
-The duvets are down filled.
-The beds are fitted with The White Company London, Symons 1,000-thread-count, high-quality 100% Egyptian cotton sateen bed linen.
-Two Dyson purifier fans.
-The towels (face cloths, hand and body) are also premium 100% Egyptian cotton.
-Perfect shower experience with GROHE SmartControl: push, turn, shower.
-There is ample storage and hanging space.
-Two Smart TV’s (65" and 55") have access to Apple TV Plus, Netflix, Disney Plus, Sky Plus, Paramount Plus, BBC iPlayer, ITV, Chanel 4.
-Sonos Music system with Apple Music.
-The kitchen includes Miele dishwasher, oven and microwave, and fully equipped with a large range of cooking implements (blender, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine etc), crockery, quality glassware, and a selection of cooking oils, herbs and spices for your use.
-I can provide a travel cot (for one infant) upon request.

On your doorstep:
The apartment is in a quiet mews (street), less than 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and literally across the street from Paddington Station with five Underground lines in addition to the new Elizabeth Line and the Heathrow Express. Kensington Palace is approximately 15 minutes walk, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum are all approximately 25 minutes walk, or a short trip from Paddington Station on the Underground. Notting Hill and the famous Portobello Road market are a 25 minute walk, or two stops on the Underground from Paddington. Covent Garden and Soho (Tottenham Court Road Station) is an 8 minute journey on the new Elizabeth Line. Harrods in Knightsbridge is a 30 minute walk across the park, or easily accessed by the Underground.

Home truth:
-There is no air-conditioning in the apartment. There are two Dyson purifier fans.
-The home has spiral stairs (see photos), which may not be suitable for small children and some guests or overly large suitcases.

Parking: as is the case everywhere in the UK car parking is controlled by the local Council which for us is Westminster City Council. Please search on the internet for Westminster parking around Paddington Station.
