I booked this saying I had a one year old child with me and they put us at the top floor when we could have had a bottom floor room we couldn’t get on the WiFi and the tv didn’t work the shower door was broken it definitely wasn’t worth the money they charge

Had a lovely overnight stay in this apartment, lovely clean modern apartment, in a lovely position just off the sea front, view of the seafront from the kitchen window, would definitely return, would have appreciated a mirror, and a tea towel, improvised to put make up on with the mirror tray, very informative and helpful staff.

Another guest had let their dog into the corridor- so when we arrived there was dog poo behind the door! She did apologise and cleaned it up.After being there for our first night we surmised that some of the apartments were for long time let’s- as with one of the tenants querying about contacting the landlord. Also for the weekend we were there there was a strong smell of weed. The property is sparse but was adequate for our needs. Would not recommend anyone to stay for any length of time. The mattress was ok- but the bed base was broken and so creaked every time you moved. But we slept.The bed settee was uncomfortable. It is in a good location and on street parking was not a problem.

It was so bad that we didn't stay and we booked other accomodation the same day..

We didn't stay because of the poor condition of the appartment.&The kitchen was dreadful, someone had used the toilet and didn't flush the refuse away. The condition of the cooking utencils was appauling. The shower door was broken and there was mould everywhere. It was also unsafe. There was no escape root incase of fire, the fire alarm was broken and it was the top floor. We sent an email on the same day to this address: staywithempire@gmail.com and we have heard nothing from them since.

Really good value for money, clean, responsive host.

I wasn’t comfortable on ground floor as bedroom is right by the road but was moved after 1 night and flat 4 is lovely and even has sea views. Apartments are spacious. Both were spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchens but could do with oven gloves and tea towels. Parking was easy. Host was really responsive and friendly. Beach is absolutely stunning. Short walk to shops and parks and easy drive to lots of attractions. Would definitely stay again as value for money was amazing

Stayed in Windsor terrace/place. Was missing a few things like wooden spoons and fish slice ect but did have brand new everything else. Was freshly refurbished to a OK standard but was let down by a few things like plug not working in toilet sink, and one table unit in bedroom on last legs. But for the price was great value and would stay again. Even had a hair dryer and iron but no board, if these little things were sorted would be more likely to re-book. Also a mop and bucket and broom needed

The internet kept dropping out. The TV didn't work because of the wifi issues and we were told to set it back to factory settings which we did - and when we finally got it sorted we didn't have any codes for any channel. No sponge for washing up or cleaning. Shower doors were broken, my partner fixed them. Pans were very old and broken.But, good location.

I didn’t like one thing about our stay Dirty and unsafe,no wi fi or tv. Blinds on bay window could not be opened as there no nets on the windows. Above flat when someone had a shower the water came through the ceiling and flooded the kitchen/lounge area. The bay centre window had an ironing board against it with a note sayiny don’t use blind awaiting maintenance. Only I was there for the bowls I would have left earlier. No cleaner no communication what so ever. Left early not again

Property in poor repair

Not impressed Centre blind couldn’t be opened so there was an ironing board in front of it with a note on saying do not use. Couldn’t open the other blinds because there was no nets up so there was no privacy. Damp and mould in bedroom,kitchen area and bathroom Water leaked right through the ceiling from flat above and flooded the kitchen area.witch we had to mop up ourselves. Don’t think the bedding had been from previous night. Had only one phone call from the owner but not one visit. All in all a disappointing experience and it split the bowling experience.

windsor terrace road was full of litter,tyers and empty milk bottles.after finally getting the key code to the flat(partly my fault)we were suprised at the standard of the flat,the decor and the clenliness seemed quite good,we then found there was no hot water(not a big problem as we were out most days) the ceiling above the shower was black with mould and the window that looks into a yard was plain glass with no curtain,we had to put a towel over the window so no one could look in.the wifi was terrible so we couldn't watch tv and the pull out bed once opened up was full of dirt in the middle.we are very dissapointed with the flat and hope you sort out these issues out so especially the toilet window.

Was a little concerned upon booking because the listing showed three different apartments - was relieved to know that it was indeed the one full bedroom apartment (#6) Many expenses were spared in the management and presentation of the listing, and by our second day we found a need to spend money ourselves to make for a more comfortable visit: - Over the door coat racks for towels - Towels (because stolen hotel towels are sub-par) - soap dish for shower - fan - mattress topper for the bed - non-slip mat for shower - bath mat for outside of shower - blackout curtains for bedroom - side table for bedroom - wine bottle opener - ice trays - oven pan And seeing as there were no provided broom or hoover, we were forced to merely fan the dust into a corner. When I inquired ahead of time as to available laundry room, I was told there was - but there wasn't (no big deal, as there was a laundromat a few blocks away) Aside from some pigeons making home in the attic, the windows not sealing properly (40kt winds were howling a bit one night) the flat was relatively quiet. the Location was awesome, the view was gorgeous, and overall worthy of the four stars

Avoid until cleaned properly

Absolutely disgusted with the bathroom. The toilet had definitely not been cleaned. I had to clean the urine off of the rim and underneath toilet seat. The floor of bathroom does not look like it has ever had the edging tool from the hoover round it. Especially at the back of toilet and sink which is all visible. The shower ! Where to I start . I do not know how long it has been since there was actually a cloth taken to it to actually wip it clean. The black mould was disgusting inside and out. I did buy bleach and spray it, this needs scrubbed every time guests leave. This does not look like it has ever been scrubbed. It’s actually disgusting. The apartment states it sleeps 4 people. The sofa bed/couch is not fit for purpose. Maybe one person yes . It also has a big hard bit wood down it . There was also missing bedding for the sofa bed. There was no flat sheet to lie on or pillows for sofa bed. The quilt cover for the sofa bed was already made up with quilt cover on it. This was definately not fresh or changed. None of the bedding smelt fresh and looked worn and dirty. There was also no hot or warm water. In general the apartment is nice enough to look at. The cooker , fridge and microwave were clean. We have came home feeling dirty and in need of a shower. You pay for cleaning! This shower/bathroom has not been cleaned in a while. I have photos as proof.
