My wife and I stayed at the villa for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Luigi was more than happy to arrange us transportation from the train station and to the airport. It was in a quiet town with a very convenient bus route right down the road to get to the center of Amalfi.
Host greeted us and arranged to park our car in a safe spot. Great communication before and during the trip. Villa looks brand new inside, a mix of modern construction and amenities and Italian charm. Bed was very comfortable. Shower has an amazing view, as does the hot tub. The Villa is in a perfect location, overlooking the Amalfi Coast, but away from busy tourists so quiet and quaint. Walked 10 minutes down and had dinner at Gerry’s Pub. Groceries, bus tickets also available close by. Took the bus to Amalfi-easy! Would recommend this as a perfect place for couples and honeymooners.
We had an amazing time at Villa Salice. Very lovely & peaceful area with a beautiful view! Easy access to the bus stop to get around. Extremely clean with a very comfy bed. Our host Luigi was very responsive and super friendly. We will certainly recommend this rental.
A wonderful location to relax and enjoy the Amalfi lifestyle!
We had a wonderful time staying in Pergola. It is a great way to be in the moment and really enjoy the coast. You are close to it all but not in the hustle and bustle. The bus into Amalfi (and any connections) is a quick walk and a 30 min ride - beautiful drive! The apartment's amenities are very nice; the sheets, towels and cozy robes made our stay! The deck view, especially enjoying the sun with our morning coffee, was sublime.Luigi was a very gracious host, giving us tips on what to do and then arranging a transfer to Naples to ease the end of our stay.Great few days in Amalfi!
The location was perfect. There is a bus stop 5 mins walking distance that takes you to Amalfi. You can take a ferry to Positano, Capri, etc. The host is responsive and very friendly. Overall I would recommend this property.
Luigi was very nice and communicated really quick!! The house had a great view and was very clean. The house does not have A/C but we did not even need it at all so don’t be scared when you don’t see Air Conditioning on the listing. The view and the balcony was awesome!!
This villa was super clean and bright with had everything you could need. The patio was the best part - you could sit in the sun or the beuiful evening sky over the sea. The hot tubs was great as well!Check-in was no more tricky than most of our says in Italy. We were later arriving than expected and we once we located the house (which, again was often a challenge in all of the places we stayed in Italy), we had the keys within 5 minutes.Parking is offsite for a fee and the owner took care of getting our vehicle there and back for us when we were leaving. There were 3 restuarants/cafes within walking distance as well as the bus stop to get to down to Amalfi Town. I would 100% recommend and would stay there again if we visit the Amalfi area again.

Villa Salice is a gem in Pogerola!’ Luigi will go out if his way to make your stay enjoyable!! The location and views are amazing!! The suite is well maintained, clean comfortable and private. We enjoyed use of the hot tub over looking the beautiful Amalfi Coast. A short walk away the village has grocery store, restaurants and a wonderful scenic pathway. You can hop on a local bus to take you down into Amalfi and return to the quiet peaceful little paradise!! I would recommend and would love to return for a longer stay.

Fabulous! Easy to catch the bus down to Amalfi. Views were terrific! Loved the space. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub too! Luigi was great. He always answered our questions quickly and was willing to arrange trips, transportation, dining, etc. He is a wealth of information! Beautiful place. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful and picturesque honeymoon spent along the Amalfi coast at this immaculate property! My wife and I spent two amazing weeks at Villa Salice and only wish our stay could have been longer! The property was phenomenal and the kindness and generosity of our hosts was second to none! Stunning views from the patio, great space for tanning and relaxing, cooling off or warming up in the hot tub, a well appointed kitchen and comfortable bed to rest as well as fine Italian cuisine within a 2 minute walk are just a few of the qualities offered by this property! Couldn’t have dreamed of a better honeymoon getaway! Thank you Luigi, Anna Marie, and your family for such an amazing experience!
What we loved about this property was the beautiful views and quietness of its location. There is a regular bus service that runs in to Amalfi town everyday ( 20 mins) . If you’re feeling energetic you can easily take one of the two walks directly in to Amalfi which can take around (40 mins) . There are lots of steps , so prepare to be challenged . In Pogerola itself there are two small local supermarkets, selling most provisions . There are also 5 good restaurants that you can dine at. We stayed at this property for two weeks and was joined by our son part way through . The property was serviced twice in the time that we stayed to a high standard with clean bedding and towels. As we were there for two weeks we made use of its ideal location to visit Ravello by bus and walked back down from there in to Amalfi . We took the bus to walk the Path of the Gods in to Positano . We visited Capri by the ferry service from Amalfi . Pompeii is a must though arrive early . We also did a couple of walks but it was very hot. We are keen walkers but cooler temperatures would help make them more pleasant. Luigi was an excellent host , excellent communication and nothing any trouble. He arranged transport for us to be collected from the airport and was there to welcome us on our arrival. Overall we had a lovely time and would highly recommend this property to any one looking for a lovely holiday .
Don't pass up on this little gem in the hills of Amalfi ...
This is a special little apartment for a couple to enjoy the beautiful view from high in the hills of Amalfi, in particular the area called "Pogerola". Easy access to the Amalfi city center via a bus stop a couple hundred feet from the apartment.
Hosts are generous and kind and have completed a recent rehab for this apartment that make it incredibly clean, comfortable, and a joy to visit.
One small caveat ... some of the photos are slightly "misleading" aka have photoshopped out a street light and the electrical cables that pass right in front of the porch view out to the Mediterranean ... not the biggest deal, but not cool to hide that fact. I will emphasize, the view in spite false pics, is still incredible and stunning. I would still stay there again without hesitation and if ever heading back to Amalfi, Villa Salice will be high on my list to revisit.
Another note, the restaurants in town are amazing and to stay in Pogerola to eat lunch or dinner is not sacrificing a thing. We loved Gerry's pub for breakfast, Hostaria Acquolina for exquisite service and great grilled meats, DA BRUNO ALLA CARCARA for great pizza and finally La Capannina for great pasta and amazing desserts.
Don't think twice, Villa Salice is a great stay and nice quiet location, you will not be disappointed.

Merci Luigi
