Adventurous hiking --including the Appalachian Trail & other hikes in the White mountains-- and quiet walks are just outside your door. You may even see a moose!
Downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing,ice skating, snowmobiling are all within 10 or 15 minutes of the house.
The Sunday River Golf Club is one of the premier courses in New England. The Bethel Inn and Country Club also provides a challenging 18 hole course.
