This rustic log cabin is nestled in the woods with a farmer’s porch at the front and a deck to enjoy at the back. Open plan main living area with a well stocked kitchen and countertop seating for four. There are two main sitting areas, one centered around the real flame gas fireplace and the other a place to sit and enjoy the Rockola jukebox. Two bedrooms on the main floor, one ensuite and another full bathroom a few steps away. The finished basement has two more bedrooms, with a shared full bathroom. Great common area in the basement with arcade games, ping pong, and 75" TV. Minutes from both Sunday River and Mt. Abrams ski and bike park. In the summer, a float down the nearby Androscoggin River or visit numerous local watering holes and hiking. trails. In winter, you can be at Sunday River in 10 minutes, or Mt Abrams in 5 minutes.

Perfect getaway log cabin house

This house was very clean, perfect size and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the downstairs level. Every cozy!

Excellent ski getaway

The property is spacious, well appointed, extremely comfortable in all ways. My grandkids (and I) loved the game room downstairs - first time we were able to add ping pong to their life experience! The jukebox was also a fun addition. Great location to get to the slopes quickly, peaceful spot in the trees - couldn't ask for anything more!

Great for family/group vacation!

I stayed here with 7 other family members. The cabin was spotless and unbelievably well-stocked. Anything you could possibly need was there. The location was great for hiking, kayaking and paddleboarding. The ping-pong table, dartboard and jukebox provided a lot of fun for everyone. This is a wonderful rental spot. Would stay here again if we return to the area.

Quiet peaceful cabin

My husband and I and our dog stayed at the cabin for a few days off mountain from Sunday River. We loved the privacy and distance from neighbors and quiet at night that allowed us to sleep well after skiing during the day. Tony was easy to work with and we appreciated him checking in with us during our stay. We will definitely book again!

A Great Cabin in Bethel!

We stayed here in October of 2024. This is our second time staying at this cabin and it's perfect for us. We were 3 couples in town for a Jeep Jamboree and the cabin has everything we need. We even cooked a Canadian Thanksgiving dinner while we were there! Tony is an awesome host, very responsive communicator. The cabin is about 5 minutes from town and 10 minutes from Sunday River - a perfect location! I highly recommend this host and cabin!

Sunday River Ski Trip

This house was perfect for 2 families with children. It worked out nicely for our group with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was great that the children could have a place to hang out. Tony was quick to answer questions and helpful with information about the area. Sunday River was about 10 minutes away which was very convenient for our ski trip.

Awesome Cabin for 2 families on ski vacation

We stayed at this awesome cabin during Christmas vacation for a ski trip in 2023. Very close to Sunday River and we even went for a day to Sugarloaf which was 2 hours away. The weather was terrible, so the skiing wasn't great, but this cabin made up for it. What a great place! Adults and kids had fun playing games, darts, ping pong, and playing songs on the jukebox. We cooked each night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Sleeping quarters and bathrooms were perfect! We definitely would stay here again!

Spacious, cozy cabin, perfect ski location

The cabin was just as described. Upon arrival it was immaculate, probably the cleanest property I've rented on VRBO. We traveled as a family of 3 with our dog but had friends for one night and the cabin is perfect for 2 small families. The basement was 2 big bedrooms and a living area/game room with a full bathroom. Main floor has 2 huge bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms with 2 living spaces and kitchen/dining area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed. The bedding was very comfortable and there were plenty of linens, blankets, towels etc. The yard was great for our dog to run around in. The drive to Sunday River was less than 15min and was a breeze to morning ski, home for lunch/rest then back to mountain for afternoon/night skiing. Very close to everything Bethel, Newry has to offer. We cannot wait to come back.

An easy fifteen minute drive to Sunday River. House had everything needed to cook for seven hungry adults. Also, there is an entire library of information on hiking, skiing and other things to do in the area. Plus numerous jigsaw puzzles, board games, etc.

Great cabin for our family trip!

The cabin was a great spot for our trip to see the fall foliage. We had a family group of 6 adults and had more than enough space. The pictures don’t do it justice. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out and it had a nice, cozy mountain feel. The property was quiet and private but really close to historic Bethel, Sunday River, and Grafton Notch trails. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils and pots/pans. Check in/check out was super easy. We had a wonderful time!

Great House for a Large Group!

We rented this house for a group that attendees the Maine Mountains Jeep Jamboree and it was perfect! Room for 3 trucks and trailers and plenty of space inside! Lots of fun amenities and close to downtown Bethel. We’ll definitely be back!

Quick trip to meet Canadian friends.

The house could not have been more well equipped for 2 families with 5 kids to meet and snowboard. It was our first trip meeting friends from Halifax post Covid and it was perfect. Host was exceedingly attentive and responsive. We will for sure be back.

Family gathering

We were 5 adults who appreciated the location which is within an easy drive to everything Bethel has to offer. The ambience in the open living room sitting by the fire can’t be beat. The house is very comfortable overall. We all agreed we would not hesitate to stay there again. .

Cozy yet spacious cabin close to Sunday River

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. It was immaculately clean when we arrived. We had more than enough room for our family of 5 and our dog. Our children loved the lower level and stayed busy playing the Pac-Man game, ping pong, puzzles and other games provided. The cabin is a short less than 15 min ride to Sunday River. Our kids took their first ski lesson and had a blast. We hope to visit Sunday River again and would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Wonderful, bright, big Cabin, great location!

This Cabin was the best! Our Family had a great stay, the Cabin is new, very clean and comfortable, bright, big open concept kitchen/living, that’s great for big group gathering, plenty different games, pin pong table, would highly recommend and hope to rent here again!

Fun stay

Our family of 4 (plus our golden) loved our stay. The property owner was extremely responsive & helpful. The ping pong table was a hit! The property was very clean and accommodating. It’s just a short drive from town & the ski area - very easy to access.
