Villa in Cala Moli close to Na Macaret & Addaia, Menorca, Balearic Islands - Peaceful Location, 10 Minutes Walk To Local Beach & Village
Situated in Cala Moli which is a sheltered inlet on the north east coast of Menorca near the charming fishing village of Na Macaret. With its traditional fisherman’s houses, small beach and friendly bars/restaurants Na Macaret is a real hidden gem with a relaxed way of life. Within a five minute drive of the villa is the magnificent beach at Arenal d’en Castell, a large crescent of fine golden sand, with a range of water sports facilities. Across the inlet is the small Port of Addaia, which has several restaurants and shops. Leisure activities include: dive centre, boat rental & day trips, kayak rental, bike rental, tennis. Slightly further away is the golf course and beach at Son Parc, and windsurfing, water skiing and sailing in Fornells.

Beautiful place in a quite area

The description and the pictures reflect the reality. It is really quite and peaceful area and it's perfectly located for various trips. The communication with our hosts was perfect and we got some very good recommendations for some nice restaurants. The villa is well equipped with everything you need to spend some nice relaxing days. Menorca is a really nice island and we are definitly planning to come back.

Lovely villa in quiet area

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this villa. It was very peaceful and secluded but we could easily walk to three restaurants, the two we tried were excellent. The villa is well equipped, we had a couple of small issues but they were easily resolved and the communication with the host was excellent. We used the lovely pool a lot and in the glorious sunshine we had all week the temperature was perfect. Beds were very comfortable. You do ideally need a car, it’s not too far from the airport and the nearest supermarket is only a few minutes drive away. As other people have mentioned a book would be useful for info about appliances/where to visit/restaurants/pharmacy etc and I always like to read comments from previous visitors as you can often pick up tips. Thank you for letting us use your lovely villa we would love to return one day.

Clean villa and very peaceful area!

Excellent communication with Bernard. Clean villa in a very peaceful area. Lovely pool but unheated. Villa could do with an information booklet detailing info e.g. local recommended restaurants, and little facts like the hot water takes a while to come through, so you don’t have to bother the owner! We did however enjoy our stay. And a car is an absolute must.

Beautiful peaceful villa

Beautiful villa in a really quiet road- well stocked and clean, with nice touches. Pool area was great with comfy sofas and nice lounge. Think it’s better than the pictures even with nice views. And Bernard was very helpful in anything we asked. Might be nice to add an information pack to the villa, as we didn’t know where to go for things particularly. There were 2 v family friendly restaurants in Na Macaret and a small beach, but it was very crowded in August of course! We timed it to be 13 minutes walk but we were slow! The only supermarket nearby we found was a drive away in the small commercial centre with shop and couple of bars- you could walk but too hot again to bear it. In summary it was a great villa for a nice peaceful relaxing holiday - not one for anyone looking for lots of night life and a resort.

Beautiful House

Well equipped house in a quiet spot. Perfect for a family holiday. Loved the fabulous pool. Short walk to nearby restaurants and easy access via car to the whole of the island of Menorca. Highly recommended.
