Fantastic location!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It met our needs well and the location is perfect. Lots to see nearby with many great places to eat as well as groceries. We recommend choosing to stay here when visiting Florence!

Beautiful apartment, perfect location

Apartment is clean and comfortable. Perfect location close to the sights but away from the crowds. Supermarket is a five minute walk away.

Great location. Easy to get to anywhere in Florence.

We stayed here for 9 days and everything was as described. Easy check in and clear instructions for checking out. We came in by train and the cab ride was 20 euros. We only had to use taxis 3 times. Going to train station twice and once for an early morning tour. Highly recommend.

Great apartment, great location.

We loved staying at this apartment. It was very close to the Uffici gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio with lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. The courtyard was beautiful in spite of the ongoing construction. We had everything we needed and more!

Best Location in Florence

The apartment is in the former palace of a wealthy family and I confess it made me feel a bit like a Renaissance princess staying here. Close to everything a first time visitor to the city would need. Easy check in; there are about 20 stone steps up to the front door so pack lightly. Great food nearby and 5 minute walk to all you want to see. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay near center city

Lovely property with immense history located in a walkable neighborhood close to many local sights. Roberta was very communicative - there was a little hiccup with check in timing but it worked out in the end. Would definitely reccomend to anyone travelling to Florence if they want to stay in a truly historic place with personality not a hehnric hotel rom. than

Perfect Florence Stay

This is a true hidden gem for your stay in Florence. Fantastic location near the Arno and the Uffizi, not to mention, around the corner from the best gelato! Roberta was an amazing host. She met us on the street to help us find the apartment and her response time, to any question we had, was immediate. The apartment was spacious, clean and very pretty. Would definitely stay there again!

Location and historic building

Beautiful building in a perfect location ! The 2 bedrooms were on a small size, hard to squeeze a portable crib but also with a spacious kitchen and a nice living area. The second bedroom has an open ceiling shared with the living area. The windows opened to a very quiet street allowing a restful stay with restaurants and bars at the door step.

Historic Haven in Central Florence

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property and its fantastic location. It is within walking distance to absolutely everything you would want to walk to see in Florence. Communication with the host was fantastic and all our needs were met fully. The next time I visit, Florence this will definitely be where I will request to stay. It is serene and has all that you will look for. Enjoy!

Italy spring 2024

Roberta was great. She was very responsive and considerate and helped with anything we asked for. My husband didn’t love the location at first but then it grew on us. The restaurant in the building was great too and told us about the history of the building which helped us to really appreciate the apartment and the building even more.

Unbelievably beautiful courtyard leads you to a lovely apartment with arched ceilings and wonderful character. The kitchen and bathroom are very spacious. The living room if comfortable and inviting. The bedrooms are a bit small but the beds are comfortable (all you need for a good night’s sleep). The apartment was immaculate. The owner was lovely. Check in was easy and she showed us how things in the apartment worked. She had a book that had helpful information including good restaurants in the neighborhood.Although everything about the apartment was great, the best part of this rental is the location. You turn one corner and yourself on a street full of restaurants and stores, you turn right and walk one block and you’re at the Arno River. You turn left and walk 2 blocks and you’re at the Basilica of Santa Croce. The location is just perfect.I would highly recommend this rental if you want to be in the heart of Florence in a beautiful, comfortable and clean apartment.

All communication with Roberta was quick and helpful. The apartment is right in the centre of the main landmarks of the city, very close to the river. Everything was easy walking distance, yet in a quiet area. The apartment is very comfortable and well stocked with anything you may have forgotten to bring. The ceiling is beautiful and the building is from the 1500s. Would highly recommend.

As with other reviewers, I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. My friend had never stayed in a VRBO before; she has now said she would never stay in a hotel again on trips like ours.Roberta got in touch with us shortly after booking -- which was about three mo in advance -- with some additional, detailed information, which also let us know that we were on her radar; sometimes I tend to stress about whether a reservation has actually gotten to the host. She promptly responded to questions we had in the interim. She contacted us again just before we arrived, to confirm what time we would like to check in, then met us in person. She has compiled a "house book" with everything from manual pages for using the washing machine to top recommendations for local gelaterias, which was incredibly helpful.The apartment itself was more spacious than we'd expected, with a complete kitchen, washer, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and had ample closet space, a lot of hangers and a large, collapsible clothes-drying rack. It is ideally located -- 5 min walk to Santa Croce and a supermarket; maybe 12-15 to the Duomo; about the same to Ponte Vecchio; 2 min to a street with a lot of small shops, restaurants, and a very good gelateria. Even though it is on a busy street, the windows face either over the courtyard or over a side street, so it was quiet; we had no trouble sleeping.If I'm ever lucky enough to make it back to Florence, this is where I'll stay. We enjoyed the location of the property, five minute walk to the Arno river. There was a spectacular courtyard as soon as you walked into the property. Only one flight of stairs to carry suitcases. Having air conditioning was welcomed when staying in July. Only negative was to access one of the bedrooms, you had to enter via the bathroom (which if someone was using,not possible) or enter through the other bedroom. Nowhere to open out a suitcase in either bedroom.

Amazing place

The property is amazing. They had everything we could have possibly needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Roberta was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend. La Buchetta just downstairs outside was lovely as well.

Excellent property!

The apartment is a great choice. The location is perfect, a close walk to so many points of interest, places to eat or purchase food. All of rooms are very clean with lovely architectural details. Modern kitchen and bath! Check in and out was very easy. Price is good for what you get. Excellent host communication.
